This is a beautiful property that was convenient for a large group of people. I went with 8 of my friends from high school/college and we had the time of our lives. The owner was great and checked in with me frequently to see if we needed anything. There was plenty of firewood to do a bonfire and bikes! My favorite town in DC is Baileys Harbor and it was just a 3 min drive to town. The owner provides many suggestions of things to do if you don’t know DC. The house itself was clean and spacious!

House and grounds are very well maintained on Kangaroo Lake. The 5 bedrooms and 4 bath comfortably fit our family of 14 included 9 adults and 5 grandkids. Campfire pit was well stocked with wood, weather was cool ( October) but would be awesome to use the lake during the summers. Definitely an A+ property and property owners.

Excellent time was had at Tranquility & Serenity Family Retreat! All eleven of us (ages 11 - 83) enjoy the well-outfitted, spacious home. The kitchen was a cook’s delight with everything we needed to create good meals. Ideal, beautiful location right on the lake. We experienced sunsets, bonfires, table & yard games extraordinaire! Would definitely recommend this Vrbo.

Plenty of beds and bathrooms for a group of women. Seating was very limited in living area and no dining room table for our dinners.

Beautiful house, very very clean. Had a well stocked kitchen and great seating areas for our 9 family members. The outside fire pit was phenomenal. The benches surrounding it were clean, sturdy and comfortable. Lots of stacked wood for our use. Quiet location near all we wanted to do. The only thing I would change is that they have the fireplace listed under the amenities, but when you get there, there is a sign posted that it is not to be used by renters. It’s because of insurance issues, which I get, but fireplace should be removed as an amenity in the listing since renters can not use it.

This home was perfect for our family trip to Door county. We had a family wedding in Egg harbor and this home was perfectly located 10 minutes away. It accomodated 8 of us easily. Loved the easy lake access and use of canoes and kayaks. The shallow water was perfect for toddlers to play and swim. Enjoyed a cozy fire on our last day! I would highly recommend this home! Great communication by the owner too!

We loved your home. None of us had ever been to Door County and you were so helpful with your notes recommending places to visit and dine. It was a great location right in the middle of the "sites." Thank you for opening your home to us.

The Island View Lakehouse was the PERFECT place to stay for our girls' weekend! The location is unbeatable on Kangaroo Lake, and the house itself is comfortable, spacious, and has great lakehouse vibes. Terrie was a very welcoming and communicative host. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Door County with a family/larger group!

This is our 5 th family vacation getaway w grandkids and it was best equipped. Lots of activities and great swimming right out the door.

Our stay was for our annual family vacation. This house was gorgeous, clean and extremely well equipped. It had every appliance, pot, pan and kitchen tool you could ever need. The owner of the property was very responsive throughout the booking process and our stay. The house was very comfortable and spacious, giving us the room we needed including ample dinning space for eating and playing games of old maid (a family tradition). It is close to town while having that secluded feel. When the weather cooperated, we were able to enjoy the canoe, outdoor games supplied by the owners as well as the inflatables we brought with us. The outdoor shower, beautiful gardens and wildlife sightings were a bonus.

This place was perfect for our weekend in Door County. The lake was beautiful and the house was even more beautiful and had everything we needed. Great location!

The host thought of everything! The property was well kept and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place for gatherings inside and out with plenty of seating and relaxing locations for our group of 9 adults. The kitchen had everything you needed and joint living room area was very spacious with great views. Bedrooms were very comfortable and # of bathrooms were convenient, very clean and well stocked. Morning walks down the drive and along the road were very quiet. The dock was a popular hangout spot with lots of memories made.

This was the perfect ‘home base’ for our first family vacation in 3 years. Waterfront, amazing sunsets, quiet neighborhood, well-appointed kitchen, and pretty much everything else you could ask for. Long before our departure we began planning our return.

We enjoyed our stay at this home on Kangaroo lake. This is a very spacious home and Michael was very helpful at check in and quickly responsive to any questions. The only caution in renting this property is the WiFi speed. It is too slow to do conference calls and efficiently work from the home

Well the weather wasn’t ideal however the house was more than enough space to accommodate lots of fun activities and was super relaxing. Loved the home and the hosts were the best

This property was top notch from the start. Pictures do not even come close to how beautiful this property is. Owners were responsive and had great communication throughout the process. Beautiful views, spacious rooms and living/community room, and lots of memories made.

This home was very comfortable for the entire family. Beautifully decorated and well stocked kitchen. There is ample space for a large family or group of friends. The house is on Kangaroo Lake, which is shallow, so very nice for children in warmer months. Access to all villages on the peninsula with a short drive. Beds were very comfortable. Great place to stay!

We adore this home and yard. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for 11 people to have convenience and privacy. So many games and boats and bicycles to keep us busy. Beautiful view with a pier and coastline.

We had four couples of college friends/roommates and had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room and the location is perfect to see Door County.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was perfect. There was so much at the house to keep us busy. Bicycles, kayaks, canoe. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. The location was convent to everything we wanted to do. Guys went fishing and only had a 5 minute drive to the boat. Would love to rent this home again.

Wonderful home to spend time with family. Very spacious areas and kitchen well stocked with pots/pans for fun family dinners. Beautiful outdoor spaces were enjoyed by all, especially the lake, kayaks, and fire pit. So close to all the lovely towns, shopping, grocery and beaches. Highly recommend Waseda Farm for local meats and produce. Michael and Terrie were wonderful hosts!

The Island View Home was perfect for our family!! The bedrooms were located perfectly so we could put a 2 and 3 year old to bed for the night and they were not disturbed by those still up in the main living space. The second refrigerator was very helpful, we did not need to keep beverages in coolers. The house is nicely laid out. Beds were very comfortable and the house exceeded my cleanliness expectations. We appreciated the kayaks, especially for morning coffee paddles. The gardens were beautiful and we spent extra time outside gazing at them and Kangaroo Lake. The location was excellent, close to everything we wanted to see and do. Michael responded quickly to our questions and checked in to be sure we were satisfied with everything. We were extremely satisfied!
