We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation house. Property was as described and very clean. The location was perfect for us as it was close to the airport. Also close to museums, antique malls, outdoor markets, shopping, and restaurants. The crazy high heat has taken a toll on the landscape and lake but the outside decks, firepit and swing area was awesome.

Kelli and the Lake House provided a wonderful venue for our three generation family girls trip. The house itself was perfect with all of the beds, bedrooms and baths. The kitchen/dining room area was great as was the living room which we didn’t spend a lot of time in (we never turned on a tv). But the best area was the back yard with its big deck, balcony, and fire pit area which was quiet, beautifully landscaped and had a little pond out back. Kelli provided us as much firewood as we wanted to burned and lots of outdoor seating. It couldn’t have been more perfect for us. So if you’re looking to enjoy the outdoors in a place conveniently near the city, this is the place for you.

The house was fabulous! All the amenities one could ask for. The owner was Great! She had everything in place for our visit , and communication was effortless. We will definitely stay there again!!!

We had to make a quick trip for the weekend for a wrestling tournament and wanted to be able to unwind without being at a hotel. This property was absolutely perfect and the kids loved being able to throw in their rollerblades and cruise around the neighborhood safely in the evenings! Definitely will return if coming to town again .

This was our second stay at the Lake House and even though the weather was so bad that we didn't get to use the yard, we still enjoyed our visit. Kelli already had ice melt on the walkway and stairs along with a handy snow shovel (ergonomic, at that!) by the door! Will definitely look forward to our next stay!

This was our first time staying in a vrbo and we feel like the bar has been set very high! Pictures of the listing were spot on and the house was clean, safe and peaceful in a wonderful neighborhood. Mattresses were comfy, pillows were perfect and little nightlights were in all of the right places. :) We couldn't have been more pleased and will stay there again. In fact, the place was so perfect that we'd love to live in the neighborhood ourselves if we move to the area to be closer to our daughter! Simply wonderful!

Second year in a row for family reunion

The property worked wonderfully for a sibling gathering. The weather and outdoor area was wonderful so, when local cousins and grandchildren came, we were able to really enjoy visiting together. We would come here again.

We would highly recommend this home. It was so easy communicating with the host. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable and the backyard + views were perfect. We also loved the walking path around the lake.

Perfect place for our family to gather for a wedding weekend!

We rented Kelli's house for a wedding weekend with friends. Our stay just couldn't have been better. The location is amazing - only a short drive to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The house is nice and clean and well-appointed with everything you need. There are tons of sleeping options for comfort for big groups. The backyard area is gorgeous overlooking the lake. Kelli is a real sweetheart and so helpful and kind. She worked with the mother of the bride to get into the house early so MOB could surprise all of us with snacks and bevvies. She worked with us on early/late check-out to accommodate our travel schedules. And she even loaned one of us a belt to complete her rehearsal dinner outfit! Don't hesitate to book this house. You won't be disappointed.

My group of six friends had a great two day stay. While the weather was very hot, we still enjoyed mornings drinking coffee on the deck. Perfect space for us, plus great location.

Better than my own house! The check in process was very easy and explained, the house is SO clean, and super convenient to any stores. We personally love it and will choose it again in the future because we have family in the same neighborhood! Thank you Kelli!

Enough room for everyone to spread out . . . . to play indoor games and outdoor games. The kitchen was well equipped for all the cooking needs . . . breakfast, lunch and dinner. Close to lots of activities . . nature park, Rails to Trails biking and zoo.

Our stay at the Lake House in March 2022 was perfect for our family. We had 6 adults and a baby stay at the house and there was plenty of room. Kelli was a great host. We would stay at the Lake House again and would recommend it highly

Once again an awesome stay at the Lake House! Appreciate our hosts providing a comfortable home away from home. Had a great time playing pool and watching the ducks in the lake.

We loved our stay here, everything was communicated clearly and promptly. We had several people staying here to attend a family/friend wedding and this house met all our needs. The house came with all you would need for a stay and was very clean and comfortable. If we are ever in Kansas again I would stay here. What I loved too is there was not a huge checkout list that so many other rental homes have, which can be stressful if you have a flight to catch the next day.
