Another great stay at this beautiful property. This is our third summer and we love coming back for the perfect location, views of the pond, comfortable house with large lot, spacious patio, outdoor shower, and quiet neighborhood it is the perfect spot! .

This is our second summer at this property. The close proximity to the beaches, bike path and the vineyard makes this an ideal location. This year we purchased a beach pass and discovered Wood End where you can go on long walks at low tide. This is now my favorite Falmouth beach.
The house is clean, comfortable with access to bikes, kayaks and yard games. The host is responsive, I highly recommend at stay at this property.

I was turning 60 and after years of visiting my parents in Hyannis for our birthdays (they both passed before the pandemic) I wanted to be on the cape again. The house is truly special. The grounds are maintained well, but still have a cottage feel. We really enjoyed the patio and Adirondacks in the sun. The beach is minutes away; it’s a nice 30 minute walk to restaurants and shops. On a cloudy day we went to Nobska light and (2) gardens, Spohr and Hatfield Hall and gardens. We also visited The Knob. We were 5 adults over 60 (my sisters and their spouses) and all the walks were easy.
I had the big bedroom that overlooked Salt Pond and it was spectacular and the bed was really comfortable! The other bedroom upstairs with (2) double beds was ok for adults- probably better for kids or singles. The bedroom on the first floor was lovely. I especially loved the outdoor shower- even in the rain!
The kitchen was well appointed.
We ate most meals at the picnic table on the patio watching the Osprey circle above.
It really was quite magical. I would definitely return!

Beautiful property in a great part of town. Close to beach, Salt Pond, downtown Falmouth and the Shining Sea bike trail, as well as the Island Queen and Steamship Authority ferries. We love the house, yard, and quiet and friendly neighborhood.

We have never stayed in Falmouth as typically stay in the outer cape. It was a great experience where we could swim as there were no shark warmings!
We arrived to a very clean house, with a fabulous patio and yard, a short walk to the beach. Woods hole is a short, easy bike ride away via the bike trail. There were four bikes for use so just bring your helmets. We used the paddle board and kayaks on salt pond. I walked and found a bird sanctuary just off mill road. We Walked into town; all in all, our family of three generations enjoyed our stay.

We rented this property because it was on the marathon route, but we got so much more. We were on the marathon route, close to the beach, and close to all the dining and shops on Main Street. The house was great. Accommodations were spacious and the house had almost everything we needed already stocked. The backyard had so much space and was a great spot to relax. There was a ton of board games for our daughter. I think we played at least 6 different games and there were many more. Too many to count. There was also a large collection of books. My wife is a Social Studies teacher, and she found so much interesting information in the various books. I had a few questions for the property manager and got quick responses plus there was a welcome folder with tons of information to help with dining, things to do, etc. There was biking, hiking, and kayaking equipment available, but because of our marathon schedule and some rain, we were unable to do these activities. I definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Cute Cape house across from Salt pond with great sunsets! Having water view is relaxing. Short/easy walk to beach. Enjoyed biking to Woods Hole. House worked great for us, 6 adults - 3 couples all family. Missing the French Bakery on Main Street already!..(hint they open at 0700 - don't be late). Thanks!

We loved staying at this house, it was our perfect home away from home. We stayed here with our adult children and everyone enjoyed the great location as we were able to walk and bike to beaches, shops, restaurants, and the ferry to MV. The Salt Pond access is right across the street so using the kayak and SUP was very easy. The house is clean, comfortable, well maintained, and attractively decorated. Some of my favorite family memories were sitting outside under the party lights, playing corn hole and croquet in the yard, and board games in the large family room.
The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors that we met were very nice. The host is great.

What a convenient house!
Great location, close to town and the beach (especially with a baby!) and an easily accessible pond across the street.
The house itself, with plenty of private yard space, had a huge selection of books and games for both children and adults; the kitchen is well equipped; a convenient bedroom on the first floor is definitely a plus.
Bonus: pet friendly. Being able to bring the dogs was an added benefit.
Additionally, the host is attentive and responsive.

Our Cape Christmas Getaway
We had a fantastic stay in Falmouth! The house was a perfect location for our family. If you are bring a furry friend to this lovely dog friendly home, bring a long lead as the beautiful yard is not technically fenced in.
The stone shower felt like a spa but watch for the lower tiles as they popped out and need some attention.
Overall we absolutely had a blast! Thank you for the wine and note! We hope you’re available next year! We need more gorgeous sunsets over Salt Pond!

Relaxing Family Vacation
This house is perfect for families with children and for book lovers! It’s loaded with special amenities and hidden compartments. We were captured by the lovely views and the excellent location. Our group was diversified with active walkers and lazy readers, and everyone was happy!

Amazing Location
The house was beautiful, perfect location, immaculately organized. We enjoyed the bikes and easy access to the bike trail. We rode into Woods Hole multiple times. The kids discovered paddle boarding on the pond. We had a couple rainy days but it gave us the chance to browse the nearby shops of Falmouth. The patio and plantings in the yard are so peaceful and beautifully maintained. Amazing rental!

Wonderful Vacation Home
We enjoyed two weeks here at the start of the summer. The longer we stayed, the more we appreciated the house and grounds. The home has multiple zones and provided our two teenagers with plenty of privacy and space. The yard is an oasis with beautiful trees, flower gardens and a large patio with an abundance of seating and a fire pit. The sunset views over Salt Pond were incredible. With its location next to a bird sanctuary, we saw and heard a lot of wildlife. It is a short walk to the beach, town and Shining Sea Bike Trail. The house includes bikes, kayaks, books, games, and clean linens. Both the owner and house manager were super hospitable and responsive. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation at this home.

absolute perfection
We were in Falmouth for a wedding. The location was just a very short walk to the beach and across the street from the Salt Pond that has an incredible, lovely path going around the pond that our dogs LOVED, as did I. I would rent again in a heartbeat. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable. The yard was so fun to hang out in, read books, etc. I would highly recommend to anyone!!

Great stay
Really enjoyed our stay. The location is beyond great. A couple of small things to keep in mind. No TV in living room or. Or in bedrooms. Only 1 shower so a little inconvenient for 5 or more people. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking and prep! The house was very comfortable and although we didn’t use the fun activities available in the garage (kayaks/bikes) etc. they were there.

Peaceful retreat in Falmouth
We spent 5 nights at this lovely home in a halcyon setting across the street from the pond and a few blocks from the ocean. The house is very nicely laid out with large, bright and common spaces that open out to a relaxing backyard. Crucial for us was the fact that the WiFi was excellent throughout the house and there were four rooms away from the common space where doors could be shut for privacy/quiet for participating in online school and work meetings. We were able to 'work' remotely during the day and enjoy lovely evenings relaxing. Love the retro kitchen as well!

Fun Week in Falmouth
Our family enjoyed our stay at this lovely Falmouth home. The location was great. It is across from the Salt Pond which makes for a beautiful view. It is walking distance to the beach and to town. Biking distance (short bike ride) to Woods Hole. We had fun kayaking and paddle boarding on the pond. The owner was kind to allow us to use the kayaks and paddle board, as well as two bikes. One of the bikes needed servicing so we ended up renting a bike. The house is charming, historical. It was very clean. It is an old house with nooks and crannies, and lots of great books, so difficult to keep dust free. A big plus for us was that the house allows dogs. Great place for dogs to romp and swim in the salt pond. The property manager was very friendly and readily available should we need something. Thank you for a great family vacation!

Great location and yard!
The silver lining during COVID was our month+ stay here. The location is amazing for biking and walking to the beach and downtown shops/restaurants. Our kids and dog loved the yard which is plenty big for playing sports and hanging out. The property manager is very kind and responsive. We would definitely rent again.
