Very tastefully renovated, beautiful boutique hotel in Lagos Old Town. Rooms a good size, and very comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Majoituspaikka oli rauhallisella paikalla keskellä vanhaa kaupunkia. Hyvä aamiainen kivalla sisäpihan terassilla. Ystävällinen palvelu. Loft huoneisto oli kauniisti sisustettu ja tilava. Näköala rajoittui vain terassin yhteyteen, mutta terassi oli sitäkin mukavampi iltapäivän ja illan auringossa.

Everything at Villa Zawaia was very good. The breakfast was excellent, as was our room. It is very conveniently located up a small hill close to the city centre and took less than 10 minutes to walk from the bus station and less than 15 minutes to walk to the railway station (with our bags). We greatly enjoyed the cliff top walks with many excellent beaches.

There was nothing we did not like. The pool is not big enough to swim in but does not pretend to be.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Villa Zawaia! It was recommended by a friend and it surpassed our expectations. The location is ideal – so close to all the restaurants and shops in the old town. Our room was very well equipped and the cleaning staff took great care in their daily cleaning. We looked forward to our delicious breakfasts – excellent variety and quality! Our hosts, Angelo and Sarah, ensured that all our questions were answered and they and their staff provided helpful information throughout our stay. We would definitely stay at Villa Zawaia again and highly recommend it to others.

The parking is located about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. So it was a bit tricky with our rental car when we arrived/departed. That said, the staff at the Villa were very helpful in helping us figure out the best logistics. This issue did not distract from our appreciation of this treasured accommodation in Lagos.

Une découverte superbe! L'emplacement est parfaitement choisi par sa proximité du centre historique et très vivant de Lagos et paradoxalement très calme. L'entrée est agréable de suite avec la sensation d'entrée dans une maison et en même temps dans un hôtel un peu privé et luxueux. Notre hôte nous accueille, nous propose des conseils éclairés sur cette ville et la région, puis s'en suit la visite des lieux. Notre chambre qui était "le loft" est très agréable, fonctionnelle et très propre. La décoration y est soignée. La terrasse est un plus incontestable. L'espace cuisine avec réfrigérateur/ micro-ondes/ évier est encore un plus. Le loft est ntierement climatisée selon l'envie. La vie dans l'ensemble de la maison est très plaisante. Les terrasses permettent de bons moments autour de cette superbe piscine. Le petit déjeuner est top avec des produits de qualités, et en quantité plus que satisfaisante. Pouvoir prendre l'apéritif le soir autours du bar ou sur les terrasses est encore un bon moment. Nous sommes clairement extrêmement satisfait de cette découverte. Le rapport plaisir / prix y est parfait. Nos hotes travaillent énormément pour nous offrir cet acceuil, aussi nous leur souhaitons une vie agréable dans cette maison mais aussi un peu de temps pour eux 😉

Un point d'amélioration serait une eau de piscine quelque peu chauffée... elle est en effet trop froide et pourtant si belle.

We loved this hotel, the atmosphere was charming and the rooms were a great size. The staff was so friendly, and the breakfast was tasty for it being included. The location was also very good. We would absolutely stay here again.

It was central to everything and the breakfast was the best that we had at any property throughout our 2 weeks in the area.

There weren’t any windows in one of the rooms which made it feel a little claustrophobic.

Location was great everything at your doorstep. upgraded for the first 5 days which was great but downside was being roomless for a few hours on changeover day. We did have the pool area to use which was great and sun to go with it. The breakfast every morning was outstanding and service exceptional.

Wow, bien au delà de mes attentes !! Allez y les yeux fermés : réservez vite, et une fois arrivé à la villa contempler la beauté de ce B&B magnifiquement décoré, on s’y sent extrêmement bien, dans un décor épuré, le feng shui fait son effet. La chambre est top : confortable & bien équipée. En tant que voyageur solo, je me suis sentie en parfaite sécurité, le B&B est très très central et pourtant dans une rue peu passante donc y dort très bien. Enfin et je laisse le meilleur pour la fin : merci aux gérants des lieux, ainsi que le personnel dans son ensemble. Discrétion assurée et pourtant si présent si j’avais d’aide et de conseils dans l’organisation de mon séjour. J’ai fortement apprécié votre aide. Vous avez contribué à mes superbes vacances et je vous dis à nouveau merci ! Et à très vite !

We stayed in the ground floor villa and it was beautiful. Very clean and relaxing, as it is a small property. The staff was kind and friendly, very helpful always. We would definitely come back.

This property was absolutely stunning. It is in the heart of Lagos and close to the beach. The villa was complete with everything and it was incredibly gorgeous.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Made us a takeaway breakfast as we had to checkout early. Accommodation is beautiful, relaxing and clean.

Everything was amazing, from the breakfast, to the staff and facilities. We had an amazing stay and could not fault anything with the property! We will definitely be back!

Breakfast was very good, they provided water bottles for your stay that you could refill from the water cooler and were very helpful with any queries or concerns

The location was very central, facilities were modern, the bed/room was comfortable and very clean, staff were friendly… I would definitely stay here again!

The room was very nice, comfortable with a really modern bathroom and shower. There was air conditioning and a very comfy bed. The decor of this hotel is fabulous, like a boutique hotel and a very nice courtyard area with a small pool and seating. The manager assisted us as our luggage was missing at the airport, this really helped us out. The breakfast is nicely set up and a good variety of pastries and fruit, with coffee and tea. The hotel has a pool and nice area to relax. The location in the old town is the winner here, you are close to cafes, the square and the local beach which can be accessed by a one euro boat service back and forth.

The coffee was made and given out by a staff member, It was good but there wasn't always an opportunity to have a second coffee or self serve. The pool seating area is limited and when there are lots of people, there are only a few good pool chairs and sunbeds. THere is no lift so this is worth noting if you are going to have a lot of luggage.

Great location, easy to find, safe secure, clean comfortable, comfortable bed, room clean daily, great breakfast, lovely pool.

Breakfast excellent with a lot of choice. Extremely close to main area of town but still quiet and peaceful. Liked the courtyard area with pool as well.

This is an extremely lovely property. We stayed in the suite, it is on the ground floor and the most stunning room, beautifully decorated. the bed was very comfortable. the room was dark at night. This room has a private outdoor area by the pool. Breakfast was very delicious with variety. The staff were helpful and lovely. The property is in a great location, with easy access to everything.

there was nothing not alike except for the birds in the morning. They were loud.
