Away from the hussle and traffic of downtown tourism, but close enough where you could enjoy the tourist attractions on your own time! Great space for families! We will be back!

Wonderful place for piece and quiet ! Had everything we needed, very well equipt kitchen & comfy master suit ! Large porch , yard & driveway. We enjoyed the second living room in the loft upstairs, plenty of board games and movies for the raiNy days!

Overall a fantastic property, well kept and clean more than we expected. Two minor issues no sheets or towels, if we had known this ahead of time it would have been better. Also finding the cabin was moderately difficult should be described as at the intersection "T" GPS took at least a 1/4 mile down road, got lucky on the way back and saw your sign.

Nice and quiet

The house is great, lots of room for everyone to spread out but still very comfy. Enjoyed the fireplace after a cold snowmobile ride. Kitchen setup is great. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers and the trail is at the end of the driveway.

We really enjoyed our stay in Big Moose. It was our first time staying here and we will definitely be back. The house was perfect with plenty of room, clean and just as described. We were very comfortable with our grown children and their significant others. We'll be back!

This place is beautiful! The neighbors are very kind! The only issues we had were we weren’t told prior to the trip that we would have no where to take garbage and would have to take it home. The house could definitely use a good cleaning before the next people. So dusty everyone with me could not stop sneezing. Directions were confusing had to stop and ask locals for directions, and was told by them that they are often asked for directions to this specific house. But, other than that the house is beautiful and we had a very fun time!

We visit the Adirondacks each summer and this was the first time we stayed outside of Old Forge. There were various hike extremely close to the property and there was a lot of space! Great loft area for kids or if you need to get some work in.

This place was great. We wanted to get away for Thanksgiving yes still be able to enjoy the holiday. My parents and sister went with my husband and I and our kids And it was great. The house had plenty of Room the kitchen is amazing and over all the house was just bury homey and comfortable it made for probably the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. We cannot wait to go back on our next getaway

The home was a great fit for us! We are a large family and there was more than enough room for all of us. There was even enough seating for all of us at the dining room table!

Perfect spot for my group of Snowmobilers. Plenty of parking for the trailers and right across the street from trail 9. House was spotless with a fully outfitted kitchen.

Overall, the stay here was wonderful!! The cabin decor is spot-on and the location was perfect for a snowmobiling weekend of hitting the trails. Having three full bathrooms and a giant kitchen were great for going with a group of friends. No sheets or towels are provided, which was a bit odd, and we had to take the trash with us when we left. Not sure what the cleaning fee is covering? Also, the cabin overall could have used a good cleaning - it was tidy, but dusty and a bit musty. We had an awesome weekend and would stay here again for sure - was really nice having so much space! The owner also called to check in, which was very thoughtful! The cabin felt very homey and was perfect for a relaxing weekend away.

Has everything you need for a relaxing get away. Close enough to towns and attractions but away from the crowds. Perfect!!!

Everything expected and nothing unexpected.

Toby's house was the perfect Adirondacks retreat. Really beautiful location, plenty of room, and all the necessary amenities. We stayed during an unusual heat wave, and between ceiling fans, cross-ventilation, and shady trees, we were totally comfortable. Toby was not only a gracious host, checking up soon after our arrival, but was available to answer a couple of questions during our stay. I would highly recommend his terrific home -- and will certainly consider returning sometime soon.

Probably one of the nicest places that we have ever stayed at. Almost too nice because we did not want to leave to go do any hiking or boating. Lots of room for parking. Anything you need to prepare food is already there. Very clean. 5 star for sure!!!

Very nice home in the Old Forge area. Would have been better if not for the mud season when most everything was closed. But still found things to do and see. The Old Forge Hardware Store is always open. Within walking distance to Big Moose Lake.
