Heather Cove Cottage se encuentra a orillas de Union Bay, con una maravillosa entrada poco profunda perfecta para nadar, peinarse en la playa o saltar piedras. This place was simply wonderful!! It saved our trip. The views were awesome and my family had so much fun walking around on the beach and finding treasures. The place had plenty of room to spread out and was stocked with everything you need. For my family Bar Harbor and Acadia were very crowded. Having a place to come back to and get away from the hustle and bustle made the trip that much more enjoyable. The property manager was wonderful. She responded quickly to our questions and was very knowledgeable. If I could give it 10 stars I absolutely would. I highly recommend booking this place. You will not be disappointed!!

This house was perfect for our family. It was about 30 minutes from Acadia’s park loop road and an easy drive. We found the house provided all items needed and was very clean. The kids loved the ping pong table and everyone loved that we could walk right out to the beach. The grill was nice to have as we cooked often. We had a movie night every night with the DVDs provided. All mattresses in the house seemed new, however the mattress in the master bedroom was very firm and hard to sleep on based on our preference. We enjoyed our stay and loved that the house was nestled in the woods.

This home was beautiful and even better than the pictures and description provided. Starting the morning with a cup of coffee sitting in the chairs provided by the water and returning to the same spot to watch sunset with a glass of wine made a perfect beginning and ending to each day. The property owners provided everything you could need for your stay. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need. Communication with property manager was easy and they went out of their way to be helpful. This is a perfect spot for couples or a family. Would definitely love to come back and stay again.

The house was perfect and had amazing views of the water, especially during sunset. The house was very well furnished and had tons of stuff for cooking tasty meals. Kids had a blast playing ping pong in the basement and enjoyed having their own "kid's room" to escape to upstairs. Great communication throughout the process and can't wait to come back soon. This was a lovely property for a lovely stay. The location was convenient, the house comfortable, very clean and well-stocked. The beach was excellent for the kids to play, explore and swim. Of the many VRBO properties we’ve stayed at, I’d definitely recommend this one.

This was a great experience. The home itself was spotless. The owners were great and always quick to respond. The location is close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park but still "out of the way" just enough to allow easy access to other locations in the area. Exactly what we hoped for!

Our group of 8 loved staying at this lovely house in Trenton. Walks to the beach just steps away, and the activity of Bar Harbor and Acadia just about 20 or so minutes away. Beds were very comfy, the house spotless and everything in place to enjoy nights in to cook a meal and relax or unwind on the patio with wine under a starry sky. We'd love to come back some day and will stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was only about 35-40 minutes from everything and there was plenty of room for our whole family of adults to spread out and enjoy the views. The outdoor space was large and even though we knew it was going to be too cold for swimming at least we could wade in. If you are going to do alot of cooking at the house you may want to bring some of your favorite things but it was just right for breakfast or light meals. I would stay here again!

Everything was great except for the coffee maker was not working. It may have been programmed but did not work on a regular on/off mode.

Quiet getaway
Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The house has everything you need so you don’t have to pack those extras. It was nice to drive around during the day to see the sights and come back to a quiet property to relax and recharge. The ping pong table in the basement was a definite plus for our family. We would walk the beach behind the house every night looking at the wildlife. Crabs, ducks, turkeys, deer just to name a few.

Maine Family Vacation
We enjoyed our visit to Maine and this lovely home to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The owners were very responsive to our needs and easy to work with. The vacation was rescheduled from June 2020 to this year due to the pandemic. Beautiful sunsets on the water and lots of good information was provided by the owners regarding dining, groceries and things to do.

We had an excellent stay! Very relaxing. We loved searching the beach for starfish and crabs. We enjoyed the sunsets, fire pit, grill, open concept living and dining. Rooms were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms. Was a great experience!

Beautiful view
The property was beautiful and relaxing, just can't get enough of the water view. Wished we would have seen more water life but we did see deer right in the back yard. Bar harbor was very close, visited there almost daily and the food there was the best we had around. The house exceeded our expectations and needs. The only downfall was we had our dogs (which was the best part), but...nothing to clean up dog poop and we didn't pack a shovel. Other than that, it was a great vacation. Thank you for allowing people to rent your place and also having pets!

A Wonderful Week
This well equipped cottage on the Maine coast with access to miles and miles of beach was just perfect for our family. With the crowds at Acadia, we appreciated having our own "park" with wildlife and spectacular sunsets.

Great location with short trips to Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. Loved the large wall of windows to watch the tides during our stay. East access to beach to swim or launch kayaks. A great stay!

What a beautiful spot!
Our family of eight had a wonderful stay at Heather Cove. The home is even more beautiful than it appears in the photos. It was a quiet and peaceful spot, so close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We all enjoyed beachcombing and even in early June, the water was clear, beautiful, and warm enough to wade in. Daria was a wonderful host, very communicative, and put together a lovely booklet of information about the area. We all hope to return to Heather Cove in the future!
