The updates to the condo were gorgeous and the kitchen design was genius. The guest bed was terrible, we ended up having to go buy a pillow top mattress pad to make it bearable to sleep on & it was wobbly. Then, one night the bed completely broke when getting up to go to the restroom. The couple staying in the room is about to have a baby so she went sleep on the floor at 8 months pregnant since the sofa is meant for looks and not to actually be sat on since it’s so uncomfortable, not wide enough to sleep on, and there’s also no pull out bed. Brooks and Shorey came to our rescue and replaced the bed frame quickly but I hope the owners get an actual bed. Atleast 3 of the electrical outlets did not work but it was the broken outside one that was the most inconvenient.

The unit was as advertised. We chose Ft. Walton Beach specifically to avoid the crowds you find at Destin during the 4th of July holiday. We were completely comfortable and enjoyed the beautiful beach just moments away from the condo. It was a nice surprise to get free umbrella and beach chairs for each day of our stay!

We loved our time at The Islander 4006. The condo was clean, the beds and furniture were comfortable and the amenities were fantastic. The only complaint that I have is the shower curtains were not long enough resulting in water leaking out all over the floor anytime we showered. Would definitely recommend for others to stay there!

Loved the view
We loved the view for sure !!! The space was nice and bathrooms roomy and plenty of towels. We could have used extra pillow cases for the other pillows as we like to use two each. We decided not to rent a car and just used Uber and Lyft, which ended up saving us a couple hundred $, as the rentals were so expensive. We would stay here again.

Rooms weren’t as clean, bed sheets on inside out. Elevators didn’t work the last couple of days. We left item(expensive) in room, upon realization we contacted Brooks and Shorey and was unable to be put in contact with cleaning crew or anyone to help retrieve the item.

When we got to the room it smelled musty. I sprayed Lysol everywhere everyday to kill time the smell and. hopefully the mold spores. The bathroom shower and shower curtain had mold on them. The tub would not drain. We had to buy Draino and use it twice to get it to drain. The oven would not heat I made biscuits one morning and had to take them from my oven and borrow the neighbors oven to get them cooked. The coffee pot too forever to make coffee. When I rented the unit I got pictures of a different unit. Then later the pictures were different furniture Brooks and Storey no help what so ever in solving the problem. They just said that’s all we have I will send your money back. We were meeting friends in FL we had to have a room. Very disappointed. We have used B&S twice before but NEVER again. The sofa w as so uncomfortable. We had four adults and we really did t have seating but for three to watch TV. I feel I need some of my mo ET back

Great Summer Getaway!
Great location to enjoy awesome beach views. The unit has easy access to elevator and boardwalk. Very clean and thankfully color of furnishings were lighter than those advertised. Owners should update images online. Love the detail provided in keeping the unit clean during these unusual times, although I've always re-cleaned EVERYthing! Lol!
The rental process was easy, fast and required no contact. Only gripe: Elevator walls & doors could have been cleaner and disinfected frequently, but of course did my own upon entry. Otherwise all good.

Excellent location!
The check in process was the easiest of any vacation stay I’ve ever had. The condo was very clean. The mattresses could have been better. They mounded in the middle and we all said we felt like we were going to roll out of the beds all night. There could have been more seating in the living room. The pier is wasn’t too long so the walk back to the room in the middle of the day was easy. The pool was nice and large enough for a bunch of people to all be in and not feel crowded.
