We loved staying at this place. Cozy, comfortable, so close to Capitola Village shops, restaurants and beach. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. It took us some time to figure out the parking situation because the parking spot adjacent to the property was taken most of the weekend. But the nearby public lot next to the police station was fine for all day and overnight parking. We just had to remember to feed the meter between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. We did not use the small upstairs loft, so the place was perfect for the two of us. My only comment would be that I would have liked screens on a window or two so we could enjoy some airflow without letting bugs in. Overall though, a great place to stay!

Nestled in the heart of Capitola Village, this bungalow is a true gem! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warmth and charm. The location couldn't be more perfect, just steps away from the picturesque river walk and all the vibrant attractions of the village.
The bungalow itself is simply delightful. Thoughtfully decorated with a beachy vibe, it instantly puts you in vacation mode. The cozy living space invites relaxation, whether you're lounging with a book or enjoying a movie night with loved ones. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal, and the dining area is ideal for enjoying leisurely breakfasts before heading out to explore.
One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to the river walk. Morning strolls along the water's edge were incredibly peaceful, offering a serene start to the day. And with the beach just a short walk away, we were spoiled for choice when it came to outdoor activities.
The comfort of the bungalow extended to the bedrooms, where we found restful nights' sleep on cozy beds. Waking up refreshed and ready to seize the day was easy in such a tranquil environment.
The host was fantastic, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly enhanced our experience.
Overall, our stay at this bungalow exceeded all expectations. Thank you!

Though the place was just as pictured the pictures were deceiving. The square footage must be no bigger than 400 square feet. When it said it slept 6 I just imagined a larger area that this. The lost felt like attic space and no one was able to sleep there. You couldn’t stand up or even kneel in the space. There were three of us and one ended up having to get a hotel. It was clean and no major other than it felt like a Barbie house.

The house is small but cute. There were mouse dropping in the loft and down stairs open room. The couch bed was usable. Could feel every spring. House is very affordable but isn’t kept up well. Talking with property manager was a waste of time. Just really didn’t care at all. Won’t stay here again

Place was awesome! Quiet and nice neighbors. Easy check in . The only thing I would change is there needs to be a full length mirror and heated toilet seat😂 . Really enjoyed our stay! Thanks

This is a cute property walking distance to town, so very convenient. We loved the back patio and the decor. It was stocked with all the necessary amenities. If you are traveling as a couple or small family, I would say this place is perfect. We were a couple and family of three (5 yo kid), so sleeping arrangements were not ideal - mainly because my husband and i didn’t want to climb into the loft - LOL. With the pullout couch it worked fine.

Great getaway
We enjoyed the proximity of the village and quiet of being on other side of village. The r couch bed away needs a new mattress you could feel the coils so the 16 year old slept on floor.
The plants and home are cozy and close enough for us to walk everywhere.

Capitola River walk
The place was small but worked for us. Location was great, close to beach and river, shops and restaurants. We parked out truck and unloaded our bikes and we went everywhere on the bikes...store, Boardwalk, restaurants, beaches. Back porch was great for storing the four bikes. Walkway into place had beautiful plants. Placed was great, my grandson sleep up in the loft area and I sleep on the hide-a-bed (which was not comfortable at all). My son and daughter-in-law sleep on the bed in there room and I tried it one afternoon while everyone was out to the beach was very comfortable bed. Thank you for sharing your place with us for our get-a-away.

Location!
Location was wonderful. I do feel like the home could be better stocked with kitchen items. A side table or actual coffee table would be a better choice than the ottoman for a place to put drinks while watching tv. There is no washer/dryer so the towels are all you get and you cannot do laundry. Also of note, the bedroom door French doors do not lock or latch which leaves something to be desired in the way of privacy when you have kids. But…. The location cannot be beat! We were able to walk everywhere and enjoy the village without worrying about driving and parking.

Cute, clean, and convenient
So happy that we rented this home. It is a nice place with a larger than small home feel. It was so convenient to walk out and be downtown within 3-5 minutes. River, beach, good shopping and food close by. Large parking lot across the street but if you can walk to where you want to go on a weekend definitely do it if you have good parking already. Cutest neighborhood. Look forward to renting there again.

Amazing location
It is small but who needs to stay home while in such an amazing area. Had some issues with the bed linens and the host was amazing. Issues were dealt with immediately!! Really enjoyed the stay and would definitely return.

Location is key for full experience of Capitola Village!
What a great location! Walking distance to everything! Convenient to beach, wharf, the Village, retaurants. Has everything you need for a short visit. Nice nieghbors in a lovely neighborhood. Although it is an old duplex, could use some upgrades, we thoroughly enoyed our visit! We were fortunate with parking and if you plan appropriately, can score good parking, which you are warned in advance that parking is an issue in all reviews of Capitola Village.
Only issues, didn't supply enough toilet paper, not enough blankets, and sheets had pet and human hair on them. We had family coming and we reached out to them for extra clean bedding. This was solely for convenience purposes, as the host was a great communicator.
As we were departing, a previous traveler was returning a blanket from the previous weekend that she accidently took and experienced the same with shortage of t.p. and blankets.
Overall, great experience. Didn't let the little things get in the way. It was clean, great location and had a great family visit, and well worth the trip! Thank you!

The place was nicely located. A bit small for 3 adults and 2 small children, although it can sleep 6-8 people.
We needed items and when I messaged property management about it, they came immediately and supplied us what we needed.
Pros: excellent location; quiet neighborhood, close to the river and the village. clean; had basic cooking items; great communication with property management; comfortable beds.
Cons: parking not great; could use more seating space; not small kid friendly; could use more items for cooking and storage, (i.e. cookie sheets, Tupperware,)
Overall, it’s a nice place to stay.

Really perfect
5 stars on everything from this great Girls' Weekend for three women. Even with a small hiccup with the water heater, we had great communication and really prompt service to fix the minor issue. The upkeep was great, and we really appreciated the place. Would stay there again in a moment!
The substance of the trip was made perfect by the comfortable property (we agreed they could use one more comfy chair in the living room, but that was no huge problem :)), and absolutely perfect location within Capitola village. I grew up in this area, and I can tell you there is no better place to stay! We could walk everywhere, including easy and cheap parking, great food options (Thai! Breakfast place! Pizza! Drinks! Fancy Dining! Casual options! Coffee! ... and Gayle's Bakery, a must visit for lunch and pastries!). Only place we drove to was to take a hike in the redwoods and to visit our favorite home/garden store called Wisteria, in Aptos.

The place was dirty and dusty. We had to clean kitchen, bath and bedroom. There was no written instructions for the TV etc. I had to reconnect a cable and I got lucky and it worked. The electric BBQ was weak and did not grill very well. There were no BBQ utensils either. No parking was a pain. Not sure we would stay ther again. Taylor Property Management staff were very good. I would use the again.

Location and Ease for a perfect get-away!!
we were traveling from Boston for a winter holiday with our 16-year-old twins. Capitola was the perfect location for us to enjoy California at its most relaxed and fun!
The cottage has everything you need for your stay. But the gym of this cottage is location. Three minute walk to downtown Capitola means you can run in to town for coffee, wine tasting, shopping or a sandy walk on the beach…
The community is welcoming and engaging. Will be back. That’s for sure.
