Briarwood Cabin, overlooking Lake Norfork near Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Hermosa cabaña privada con vista al lago Norfork desde todas las habitaciones. Totalmente remodelado el otoño pasado. Duerme 2/4. Tiene cama queen en el dormitorio y tiene dos futones grandes en la espaciosa sala familiar. Cocina completa, microondas, lavadora, secadora.

We chose the Briarwood Cabin to get away from the noise of the city, and boy did we choose right. The trail that's right next to the cabin was nice and covered by the forest canopy so there was no chance of sunburn, and the view from the deck is phenomenal. The cabin itself is extremely quiet, which is exactly what we wanted, and overall we had a wonderful week to unplug and relax.

This cabin is an absolute gem of an experience of total peace and quiet nestled in the midst of wildlife nature management areas combined with an amazing view of the nearby lake. The thoughtfulness of the host rounded out a beautifully relaxing experience surrounded by nature for me and my wife.

Everything was good with a couple exceptions the TV did not work not that it was big deal but would have nice to watch before going to bed. Should have been told this before arriving. Also the water had a very unpleasant smell.

Stay was good. Very nice owner willing to help with anything you need. Loved having a washer and dryer available. The home had a little musty smell when we arrived, probably from little use and being opened up but it went away. Candles or air fresheners would help. Overall, loved the peace and quiet here. Located close enough to everything but far enough for privacy. I would go back for sure.

This is a nicely updated older home that has all the charm and seclusion one might ask for. Even though the square footage isn't large, all of the rooms are roomy and comfortable. It has some unique furniture choices and original artwork that is available for purchase as well. The bed was very comfortable. Only 15 minutes away from Mountain Home restaurants and shopping, it is even closer to Norfork Lake access. It was the perfect solitary hideaway, quiet, only one house could be seen through the trees, and the cutest squirrel neighbors. The deck space was one of my favorite features, a nice quiet place to enjoy nature, a sweet vignette of the lake, a cup of coffee and a book. Perfection. Nice open floor plan for hanging out inside if the weather requires it. Definitely on my list of places to come back to.

This cabin was absolutely perfect! Great views! The cabin was just as cute as it could be! Clean as a whistle and Wayne and Jeanne were the best host and hostess ever! Cannot wait to get back up there!

Great quiet Cabin
This is a very nice cabin in the woods with a great view of the lake. Fully stocked except for food of course. Owners are wonderful people very friendly they go above and beyond. We would love to return in the future.

Hidden gem! WiFi signal wasn’t the best, but they do the best with what they have available to them! The cabin was exactly as shown, even better in my opinion. Location was very convenient. Small quite weekend get away or extended stay, you just can’t go wrong here! Highly recommend

This is a beautiful cabin with an amazing view. Owners live behind cabin which is nice, giving a feeling of security. They were very pleasant and helpful with the area. Jeanne's art is also beautiful and foe sale! Short distance to everything. Weather was perfect. All around a great trip!

Had the best time, the house was perfect, the scenery was gorgeous, so peaceful. The Roth's were so nice, called to make sure everything was ok, came and introduced themselves one evening. Will plan on trying to stay there again.

Tranquil and Easy
I was looking for a place to really find some quiet and a setting that would offer some inspiration. This was it. Very easy process and communication with Wayne and Jeanne, very clean and well kept house. The situation is very simple, yet had everything I needed. The wi-fi is not ideal, but that was no issue - I just ran everything off my phone. Lots of wildlife and really great hiking nearby on David's Trail. Very good chance I'll be back.

Our visit at Briarwood cabin was effortless. Everything fell into place with ease. Wayne and Jeanne’s gift of hospitality and privacy was greatly appreciated.

exactly what we wanted. Great views of the full moon, stars, and planets. No harsh street lights or yard lights !!! We were able to enjoy nature in comfort both inside and outside the cabin thanks to a nature view in every window and the wrap around deck with a lake view.
Small safe autumn campfires were lovely.
We are planning our return trip now.

Perfect Writing and Fishing Spot
My husband and I loved our stay! I needed to get some writing done and he needed to fish and this was a great spot. We used the Panther Bay Marina, which was close and friendly, to store our boat. The deck overlooking the lake was the perfect place for me to write. The entire cabin was very well stocked - from kitchen to bathroom to outdoor supplies for the fire pit - even bug spray! We did have problems connecting to the Wifi but I brought my own hotspot which worked great. Wayne and Jeanne were just lovely and if it wasn't for the pandemic we would have loved to visit more. We will be back for sure!

The home was exactly as shown in pictures and in the description. It was nestled in a wooded area with a view of the lake below. It was very quiet and peaceful and deer were seen each evening. The owners were very friendly and are nearby should you need anything. The home was well stocked and very clean. We will definitely be a repeat customer.

In the description of this property, it tells about all the things offered. What is not described is the homelike feel and beautifully decorated cabin! We fell in love with the area and hope to return soon. Food and clothes are the only things to pack because everything else is provided, even laundry detergent!

The perfect relaxing getaway!
We found time to have a spontaneous getaway but didn’t have anything planned. We found the Roth’s cabin on VRBO and were able to get four nights. It was absolutely perfect and just what we wanted for quiet, relaxation, birdwatching, deer watching, the view of the lake and proximity to lake access. It turned out to be one of my favorite mini vacations! Wayne is so friendly and helpful, and we met Jeanne on the last day and the cabin is nicely decorated with her lovely artistic touches everywhere. We would definitely return to this little lake hideaway!

This cottage was just perfect ! Very clean and so quiet ! It was so relaxing to sit out on the deck overlooking the lake. Cottage was very well stocked. Owners were so friendly and accommodating.

This is a very nice, comfortable little house in a beautiful setting. The internet connection was a little slow, so the Roku TV wasn't too reliable. But that would be the only small complaint we had. The house is stocked with everything we needed. And while it is secluded and peaceful, the house is very close to town.
