Everything was perfect! My family of all ages were so impressed.

Nice property lots of open areas to entertain. Pool was very nice. Lots of bedrooms, we all had a good time. Some chairs were broken but still worth the stay. Also theres a bear lurking around making a mess of the dumpster.

The house was great! It was extremely spacious and clean and accommodated all of our needs. The host was very responsive and provided us with everything we needed prior to checking in.

Our group of 11 ladies absolutely loved this house! It's gorgeous! The pool was a huge focal point and gathering spot. Deck is huge and well equipped with plenty of chairs, tables and umbrella. The bedrooms are beautiful. Everything about this house is perfect!! Had everything we needed. We will be coming back

This property was wonderful to stay at and celebrate with some friends for the weekend. Enough king-sized beds for a small army. The heated pool was the highlight of the house with the temperature in the low 60s.

We enjoyed this property and plan on returning. Our favorite aspects include nice big dining room table, plenty of space and beautiful view of mountains

Great rental property for a large group of people. House was very clean and well stocked. Plenty of firewood and the hot tub was great after a long day at Sunday River. Lots of space. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful property in a private location but not far from all the amenities you need. At one point there were 12 of us and we never felt crowded, everyone had their own space and TV and the pool was loved by all.

It’s a great home for large group and the kitchen, dining area and living room all open and spacious.

My friends and I rent a ski-house every ski season and this house may have been the most perfect we’ve ever found. Spacious for our big group, we had several kids and several dogs. Gorgeous views, spacious living space, open kitchen for gathering, large dining table for meals for all to enjoy together. Clean, easy, GREAT location less than 10 minutes from Sunday River Mountain. We hope to stay here again!

The property was exactly as described, and great for our annual ski trip. Plenty of space for everyone, and a short distance to the mountain.

What a house!! We are a combined family of 13, finding a place that could contain us and keep us entertained is a hard thing to do. There were plenty of bedrooms with super comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms, the kitchen is amazing and fantastically equipped! The outside space was perfect! The view of the mountains during the day was perfect for a quiet moment to just sit and rest, and the night sky starring the milky-way galaxy enabled lots of star gazing. The heated pool was perfect for the cooler September days and nights and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. There was no road noise at all, and it was so peaceful outside that a cute little rabbit would come out in the mornings to munch on the grass out back. The people throughout the town of Bethel were so incredibly welcoming and friendly as well, so venturing out was always a positive experience. No doubt anyone who stays here will enjoy every second!

The house was a great size for a large crowd. You could enjoy what Bethel had to offer or just sit by the pool. The house had everything you could need for a peaceful getaway.

Initially the property looked beautiful. We ended up finding lots of broken things and half fixed projects. Shower doors fell off on us. Another shower was leaking. Half the kitchen cabinets are broken. The refrigerator did not keep anything cold and the handles were following off. Dishwasher handle falling off. Multiple toilet seats loose. Door knobs broken. Outlets taped to the wall with duct tape. Lots of junk on the property. The kitchen had a pantry with old food in it. One of the walls in the kitchen looked like someone threw food at it and it was never cleaned. The top deck is filled with grease from the grills. We had a great time overall. The property clearly is a rental unit because it has not been taken care of. I do not think we will be returning unless there was some work put into the property. Owner was super responsive when we called though.

The house is large, clean and in a great location. While the listing was accurate there are a few portions of the house that have seen some wear and tear, or are in the process of being renovated. That said the home was spacious and had everything you would ever need for a large family gatherings or friend trip. Great kitchen, living room and dining area with plenty of space to spread out and relax. Susan was an excellent hostess and responded to all our questions in a timely, friendly, and professional manner. Couldn't ask for anything more than that. Would highly recommend and would certainly like to rent the property again.

The property was excellent and met all of our expectations. A couple of areas where I think the words and pictures did not do justice to the property were 1) WIFI. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and I had to connect into work at times and eve with numerous devices all being used there was never any problem with the speed 2) The house feels a lot bigger than the pictures showed since there were a number of different gathering areas and even at meal times there seperate tables where the children could eat. We will definately recommend as a family gathering spot Doug

Our group of family and friends stayed at this house for our bachelor/bachelorette weekend. This house is amazing. We could play loud music and dance around the pool without having to worry about annoying neighbors. The house is big enough that we did not feel like we were on top of each other. Slept 16 adults very comfortably with a great kitchen and three barbecues for cooking. We are already talking about returning for family ski trips.

This house had everything we needed and more. Perfect for getting away for some r and r. The weather wasn’t as cooperative as we liked so we definitely took advantage of the hot tub. Everyone had something to do.

Great stay for a crowd with easy access to Mountain

We had a blast staying at this property. The home was perfect for three families and our dogs too. The only was the heat which we struggled to figure out how to turn it down. All in all, a phenomenal vacation.

We had 3 families foe an annual ski trip. The house was perfect for us. Lots of room foe the kids downstairs, a great kitchen for cooking together, plenty of comfortable beds and the wood fireplace was a nice bonus. Susan, the owner responded quickly to our questions and was wonderful about giving us extra time to get out in the snow on check out. We would definitely love to come back again!!

My sons and grandsons enjoyed the property. It was a challenge for my guests to find the entrance to the site at night. We went down to the end of the driveway with flashlights to help them find their way in. The radiant floor heating was nice but it seemed like we couldn’t shut it down and it was hot in the house. Lots of lady bugs on the house as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property! My family enjoyed a lot. I just recently loss my dad and coming here was great a nice get away to clear our head. Susan you are awesome and so quick at responding.

We loved everything about this property. We had 3 generations staying here and everyone had a great time.

We were nervous about heading to Maine due to the COVID-19 related restrictions, including needing to quarantine while there. We are an extended family of 9 adults (4 couples), 2 kids aged 6 & 7, one 6 mo old baby, and 2 dogs. This house has everything we needed! The pool was perfect, the rooms were good-sized, and almost everything was supplied, including extra pool towels. We unexpectedly found a high chair and a pack n play which came in very handy when the one we brought didn’t end up working super well for our 6 mo old. The only negative to the house was that while there was a lot of really nice furniture, etc., Some places were unfinished or seemingly falling apart (ie outlets without covers or not screwed into the wall properly, some chairs that seemed wobbly/broken, upper deck that seemed a bit rickety.) It wasn’t an issue for us but I could see it being more hazardous for kids in the 2-5 range. The hot tub worked great and was lovely, but the keys are illegible so you kind of just have to press buttons until you figure it out. A couple of small things like that, but all in all a wonderful experience and we would absolutely rent there again!

We arrived at 4. Initially the place looks good. We started cooking dinner and that is when we found out the sink in the kitchen was leaking into the basement bedroom closet. I called the property owner and they told me where the shutoff valve was for the sink. The next day someone came to repair. The problem is, the closet downstairs looks like it’s been leaking for a long time. They were not concerned about it at all. (Read the reviews, this was a problem in 2018 as well, can you imagine what is in the ceiling and walls, never mind the fact that wires are hanging down from the ceiling) Same day, I took a shower in the gorgeous, but not complete master bathroom. The shower poured water out onto the floor! Next, the concrete pool was dirty, I looked for something to clean it, all I found was an old pool vacuum broken beyond repair. Don’t plan on a night swim, no lighting on the pool deck at all. 2 rooms off of pool deck filled with junk and electrical wires hanging out everywhere. The entire house had uncovered electrical work, not safe for children. There are holes cut out of walls and nothing covering it. Mud room door handle was missing, the garage was filled with junk, flooring in living room was being held together with duct tape, there were cobwebs and dust throughout the house. Considering we paid a-substantial cleaning fee and were reassured everything would be cleaned this was concerning. The side of the house is like a scrap yard, on the back of the pool deck it’s filled with cans, bottles and trash. Recliner in living room was broke in the reclined position. Most of the patio furniture needs replacing, it’s suffering from dry rot. The refrigerator does not keep things cold enough and the grills were filthy with tons of grease. We also had to purchase a new shower curtain for the bathroom in the basement, it was held on by 2 hooks. This property has such great potential and if owners would complete 1 project at a time instead of 20 it may be better. All in all we did enjoy our stay, the house is massive, linens and towels were clean. We enjoyed the area, the kitchen was a great size, having a washer and dryer was convenient. I would like to go back in a few years to see if any progress was made with projects that were incomplete.

If you're looking for a nice getaway from crowds and the ability to keep your family safe from the pandemic, this house is perfect. We hiked, fished, and swam all within close proximity to the house.. Our meals were mostly made on the grill and we had a takeout a few nights. The rooms and bedding were very clean and extremely comfortable and we all had our own bathrooms which also helped us to stay safe. All in all it was a good week in Bethel, Maine.

Our large group thoroughly enjoyed this property. It was huge and accommodated 6 couples without any issue whatsoever. Lots of space to hang out and a massive kitchen we spent the whole time cooking in; all just about 5 minutes from Sunday River. We'll be reaching out to Susan to rent again.
