Very clean, very comfortable. Just what was required for the type of trip I was making.

Couldn't spend longer at the property due to schedule.

The bed was very comfortable in a spacious double room and I had an excellent night's sleep with nothing to disturb me. The ensuite facilities were also very good.

The self catering breakfast options were a little limited.

Large room, great kitchen area, freedom to choose on the morning when to have breakfast as it was a continental one in the room that you served yourself, comfy bed, very clean and homely. Jacky was a great host.

It was a beautiful spacious studio flat. Own kitchenette and shower bathroom. Amazing continental breakfast supplied. More than enough choice for every taste. The hosts were lovely and so friendly and accommodating. Any thing you need, they are more than happy to help. The studio is upstairs with the hosts on site. Loft windows with lovely views and we looked at the night sky. Fluffy towels. Excellent WiFi. Big TV. Lovely dining table. Imformation about local dining out areas, or takeaway options. Lovely and warm. Big comfy bed. It was a really great place to stay. Highly recommended.

Upon arrival Jackie was beyond welcoming so lovely and warming. We was given a tour of the facilities and welcomed by her adorable puppy! The room was so beautiful and extremely spacious, again being so warming. Truly felt a moment of home to home. We did not feel uncomfortable one bit of our stay everything being so clean and Jackie kindly provided everything we needed for self catering including breakfast and more. We was surprised with welcome cookies which was such a lovely touch which we very much enjoyed while drinking our morning coffee. Location was also perfect for our weekend event - The Oaklodge has a large driveway for us to leave our vehicle overnight.

Having it available when we wanted it. We generally only eat a small breakfast, so it was good to choose just what we wanted.

We loved the location, on the edge of a village with views over farmland. The Studio was really clean and in excellent condition, and the furnishings were good quality. The bed was really comfortable. On-site parking was really convenient. We loved the continental style breakfast provided - it meant that there was no time pressure to be up and about if we wanted a leisurely start. Our host was friendly and approachable and happy to provide additions if requested. The separate kitchenette was great, too, with a fridge and microwave so we had flexibility with meals - eat in as well as eat out.

The only downside was the en-suite shower room. The shower and toilet were great, with a heated towel rail and nice fluffy towels, but the wash basin was small and under the eaves. I'm 6'1" tall, and to wash I had to kneel on the floor. To shave, I used the kitchen sink. It was doable, but it turned what might have been an excellent property into just a very good one.

A great studio apartment which is very very clean, it looked like new! Really comfy bed and spotless bathroom. The owners went the extra mile by giving me a lift to my venue! So so nice of them, extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would stay again myself. Thank you Jackie and your husband
