Ute Cabin-Spacious Home in the Outskirts of Woodland Park. No Cancellation Fees!
Bienvenido a Ute Cabin! Esta encantadora casa se encuentra en más de medio acre en la ciudad de montaña de Woodland Park. La casa está rodeada de pinos ponderosa y es visitada frecuentemente por la fauna local.
Con 1800 pies cuadrados, esta cabaña de montaña puede alojar cómodamente hasta 6 viajeros. Al ingresar a la casa, los invitados serán recibidos por un plano de planta abierto con abundante noche natural. La cocina, sala de estar, comedor y un baño completo se encuentran en el piso principal. Dos dormitorios también se encuentran en el nivel principal, ambos con camas queen size.
Los niveles inferiores cuentan con una fabulosa habitación familiar con 2 camas de día, sofás y una mesa de futbolín. Las grandes puertas de vidrio se abren hacia el patio inferior.
La ciudad de Woodland Park se encuentra en las montañas, a solo 24 km al oeste de Colorado Springs, y sirve como una fabulosa base de operaciones para disfrutar de todo lo que la zona de Pikes Peak tiene para ofrecer. Pikes Peak, el Jardín de los Dioses, la Cueva de los Vientos, Manitou Cliff Dwellings y la ciudad de Manitou Springs están a unos 25 minutos en auto de la cabaña Ute.

I would have given 5 stars except that the cleaners hadn't come when we arrived. I contacted the hosts and we had great cleaning service within 30 minutes. So maybe 4.5 stars. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the outdoor space was lovely.

Upon entering the main living area it was obvious it wasn't cleaned. Plus terrible musty smell. Needed a thorough vacuuming plus kitchen table & counters needed cleaning. The refrigerator & cupboards were full of food, some expired, nothing we wanted to eat. Lots of clutter in cupboards & throughout the house. No place to put our own things. It was like the previous owner moved out and left 30 years worth of belongings behind. The patio would be nice if they cleaned it off and didnt drip paint all over it. Windows are filthy, almost 1/2 of screen is off the rickety sliding glass door. The place requires a hauling out and maintenance to be considered a "vacation" home.
Also beds are FULL size. Not queen size.
They said they would send a one day refund.
I have rented at least 8 homes from vrbo & similar. Never disappointed before.

Great place to stay, clean and very nice inside and out. Only thing that wasn't great was a bee hive outside by front door that made it difficult to get in and out. But otherwise would highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. It was clean, had everything we needed and was Very close to things we wanted to see and do. It was very homey. The only thing not good was that the mattresses were very uncomfortable. Would still stay there again.

The cabin is older but was very clean and homey! We enjoyed our stay immensely and had everything we needed (extra pillows and blankets, cooking supplies, etc.). It was very convenient to everything in town, and also close proximity to a cabin further up the mountain of family we were visiting.

The cabin worked out great for our vacation, great location in Woodland Park. We saw deer at the cabin every day, walking trail just up the road to get great view of Pikes Peak.

this house could be right for you if:
1. You like older non modern houses.
2. You don't mind a dusty house.
3. You don't mind a "musky" smell throughout the house, what the property manager said was the smell of mud due to the opening downstairs which opens up to a small opening which looks like "outside" the house, hence the mud smell I guess.
If your good with theses things then this vacation home is good for you..it wasn't for my wife, her allergies and myself.
The mangers DID refund 2 nights stay to us but still lost the booking fee, cleaning fee and taxes so still out a substantial sum for I house rental we couldn't stay in. Happy vacation :-)

Getaway at the Woodlands
The property was minutes from town yet you are in a quiet wooded area with deer walking around. the cabin was clean with lots of windows for a breeze in the afternoon and evening. We had a good 4 days of quiet rest.

It made me think of staying at my grandma’s house- cozy, games, breeze floating through, cooking there, even! And the property manager was excellent- very prompt to reply and help. Our business there ended a day early, but we remained, even though home is sweeter! It was welcoming and pleasant. Thank you!
