The cottage is a great spot for watching the ocean, enjoying the town of Del Mar and accessing the beach via a 10-minute neighborhood walk. We had a lovely time!

Overall our stay was great. Enjoyed the accommodations, neighborhood, town& dining. Great location with fabulous views of ocean & sunsets.

THE VIEWS!

Comfortable and beautiful...we felt as if this were our own place. Great yard for meals and daily celebrations, yoga and watching the surfers and sunsets...dolphins passed by...walked everywhere...short hikes and long walks on the beach...excellent communication with Randolph. This cottage has everything that you will need...fireplace was delightful!

Loved our stay here!

I loved my stay at this quaint beach cottage. It has a great private yard with the most beautiful view of the ocean and close to town to walk to. The place was very cozy with a fireplace since it was colder than normal, that was nice to have. The bed was VERY comfortable. The kitchen is nice and bright too. Everything was great. The only downfall was there are no beach towels and it's a basically a beach house so would be nice to have those to lie out on or take to the beach. The kitchen was minimally stocked. It had the basics, but no measuring cups/spoons, colander, paper towels or food storage of any kind, so that was a hassle to purchase for only a short stay. But over all it was great and Randolph is very kind and communicative! I'd definitely recommend it! :D

My wife and I go to Del Mar at least once a year. We've stayed in both hotels and rentals. We stayed here for several days and didn't want to leave and I can't wait to come back! The ocean view, proximity to the beach and surf, walking distance to the heart of the village all made this the perfect spot for us. Randolph was very responsive and even gave me the rundown on each of the surf spots nearby. It's tough to beat sunset snacks and cocktails out front overlooking the ocean on the bluff. What's really amazing is that the house is equipped with not one, but two, yes two coffee makers!

Beds uncomfortable. Proximity to usable beach a problem.
