Wavehouse was a great choice for our family vacation. It was spacious, comfortable, and close to the beach. The pool area was a highlight, and our dogs loved the yard. We recommend bringing a wagon for easy transportation.

Loved the comfort of the house for our 9 guests and 2 dogs. The pool was a big hit with our teenagers and it was so lovely sitting out in the backyard during the day. In the evening we liked sitting out in the front porch having dinner and playing games. The house slept everyone comfortably and there were plenty of bathrooms. The beach is a short walk away and the sand is beautiful and the kids enjoyed the waves for boogie boarding. Center Street is a 15 minute walk although we rented a golf cart which was lots of fun so we often used that. The kitchen met our needs and the couch was comfortable. We could have used a larger sitting area in the tv room but we made it work. A few members of our group love tennis and pickleball andd it was so convenient have courts close to the house. There were pick up pickleball games a few times a week in the morning. We enjoyed the beauty of the area and would definitely come back in the future. We had a fabulous stay.

This property was perfect for our family trip, which included 10 adults. The layout could not have been better, and we loved having the pool. The walk to the beach was easy and short. There were a few kitchen items that we could have used: baking sheets, measuring spoons and cups, and more silverware. However, these were minor issues. We'd definitely love to come back and stay! Highly recommend.

Overall stay was great. The house is as pictured in photos. The outdoor space was great and grandchildren loved the pool...probably more than beach!! The location is fantastic as it is walkable to all the restaurants even with babies...using a stroller of course. We stayed on downstairs level and children/grandchildren stayed upstairs. Beds were comfortable and the downstairs was quite soundproof other than the running of little feet. The kitchen upstairs was well stocked for cooking. The downstairs kitchen is not as user friendly or well stocked but does have a coffee pot which is all we really needed. Overall great stay and would recommend if going to Folly beach.

The Wave is the perfect home for larger groups and especially if you have a dog. The house is in a great location- 2 short blocks from the beach and only 15 mins walk to coffee shop, restaurants and shops. Quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked. Large bedrooms, 3 of them with en suite bathroom. Lots of great hang out space inside and out. The yard is ideal for a dog- fully fenced in with the bonus of a dog park across the street if your pup is looking for some play time.

House was very cool and just a short stroll to the beach, there is a nice park behind the house. We had some issues with a leak from the top floor, and a septic smell during our stay but management was quick to reply.

The house was exactly as listed. Our family had a wonderful time. Plenty of room for the kids to spread out and have their own space. The common areas were big enough to support everybody within walking distance of everything and would highly recommend and we are planning on staying there again in the future.

This was a great location, combining unique Folly Beach flavor with all the amenities we needed to enjoy a few days of family time at the holidays. There was even a little Christmas tree waiting for us! Super pet-friendly for my grand-dog. Would definitely visit again.

We come to Folly Beach every year, but this was our first stay at the wave house! It was more than enough space for our family to spread out and relax. From the covered porch to the pool/yard to the outdoor tub upstairs… there are so many things I loved about this home. We were already talking about booking it again before we’d even gone to bed the first night!

Our friend group of 8, plus our 2 fur babies, just returned home from an amazing vacation. We try to make the trip to Folly every year and this was our best stay yet. The house was perfect- just a short walk over to the beach. One of the highlights was spending the evenings in the backyard pool. We had frequent communication from property management and no issues whatsoever. The layout and design of the house is so cool and unique. We were so sad to leave!

Great location and very nice pool. My large family really enjoyed our stay and MyOcean Rental was tremendous to work with. Both living spaces need more furniture. There just wasn't enough seating for our group to sit and talk. We actually moved some outdoor furniture inside. Master suite has a lot of moisture probably because of openness to outside. Overall, highly recommend the stay at Cooper with MyOcean. The main things like a pool and location were tough to beat!

Love this house and the pool! The beach is a short walk and there is a public path which is nice since traffic can be heavy on Folly. The master bathroom was awesome and the master outside shower and tub was amazing! We cooked every night and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Outside shower, two kitchens and plenty of bathrooms are a must with a crowd of 12 and this house has it. The outdoor porch and living room furniture are worn and not very comfortable but was OK for our crowd. The management company stayed in touch with us and responded to my questions quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

The Wave House is one of the most unique properties we've ever seen. The house has plenty of room and many amenities. Lots of bathrooms, great kitchen supplies for family dinners, a FABULOUS pool, a short walk to the beach and to town, and the second kitchen downstairs came in GREAT handy to store our extra food and to cook (especially on homemade pizza night!). The only consideration is that there is no good place for everyone to eat together, so we split between the poker table, the chairs at the kitchen, and the couches. There is an outdoor table but it's hot and the porch isn't screened in. This home gave us something to talk about the whole week and the photos we shared of it on social got plenty of interest from our friends! It's truly one-of-a-kind.

We had a great vacation at this wonderful beach house! This house has everything and plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 kids. Love the master suite on the top floor with the outdoor jacuzzi tub! And the relaxing pool was an added Fun activity for us all when we returned from the beach. Loved the grand front porch, where we spent a lot of our lounging time. And the added plus was getting to bring the dogs! Thanks for such a great stay!

We stayed at the Wave House for a week in June and had a blast. It was a perfect house concerning all the social distancing. Beach was a easy walk. Two kitchens, a pool, and a big porch made hanging at the house easy and fun. The kitchens were well stocked so eating in was a breeze. There was even a huge stock pot and oyster knives. The ice makers worked in both refrigerators and coffee makers were in both also. For the few times we went to Center Street, it was .8 of a mile and a very nice walk by beach. We enjoyed our stay, will consider this rental again, and will definitely recommend to friends.

If you want to experience the true Folly vibe, the Wave House is the perfect place. From the wave staircase to the inlaid surfboards, you will be surrounded by a feeling of what this place is about. My sons are big surfers, and some of the grandkids got up on boards for the first time. There is a short walk to the wonderful beach with the surf and awesome tide pools. The path there is across the street from the house. Also, house has a great pool for cooling off and winding down. Good bit of shade there! There are more beds than listed with bunk beds in the closet and a little "hobbit" bedroom off the king bedroom upstairs. I have been coming to Folly since I was a little girl and this house was what I was hoping for. No resort here. Laid back Folly. No where like it.

We had a wonderful stay at the Wavehouse. The house is set up perfectly for adults and teens. The teens stayed down in the basement and the parents were up top away from the noise. It was a little chilly for swimming in the pool but we loved having the outdoor space. I do feel the house could use a few updates for the price but overall I would recommend it to anyone! The cleaning crew did not do a great job. There were cobwebs, dust, dirty air filters, and mold on household appliances such as the washer and refrigerator water dispenser. We cleaned what we could ourselves so that we could be comfortable during Thanksgiving. The house itself is unique, which we and the children loved. Overall, our family and friends had a great time, but our stay could have been more enjoyable if the property was better maintained.

We had 5 households of family members come for a week-long vacation. This property allowed everyone to have their own space, provided great common areas and had plenty of room for parking. We really enjoyed the pool, close proximity to the beach & downtown area, and the pet friendliness.

Our stay at the Wave House
The Wave House is a large, unique property located just a short walk to both town and the beach. Folly Beach is a cute, little town with unique, delicious restaurants and a very boho feel. We enjoyed our trip very much.The house is quite large with a nice porch across the front and plenty of room for a large family. Those who stay there should be aware that there are noise monitors mounted on both the front porch and in the back near the pool. We are a family of nine with three children who loved playing in the pool, but not a loud family at all. I received no less than 25 text messages during our week-long visit warning that we were too noisy. Some of these notifications arrived at 11:30 p.m., when we were all sleeping, or when we were at a restaurant, and could not have possibly been making any noise. Other than that, we had an enjoyable stay.

Wave House vacation
The property is wonderful! Quiet neighborhood and only a couple of blocks to the beach. The walk downtown was longer than we anticipated but we managed to walk it daily without difficulty. The grill on the porch was great and the pool was a perfect was to end the day. We will definitely stay here again.
