Our Home Away From Home! Large home with private pool and elevator!
Hermosa casa de 4 dormitorios y 3 baños en Oak Island, Carolina del Norte, a pocos pasos de la playa. La casa de 2 niveles cuenta con una sala familiar, cocina totalmente equipada, comedor, porche, 2 dormitorios y 2 baños en el piso principal. El segundo piso tiene 2 dormitorios más, un baño completo, otra habitación familiar y un hermoso porche cubierto. ¡También tenemos una piscina!
Estamos en la tercera fila de regreso de la playa y a unos 2-3 minutos a pie de un acceso público a la playa el 26.
House duerme 10 con una cama king y una cama queen en el nivel principal, y una queen, dos gemelos y un sofá cama queen en el segundo nivel.
Las comodidades incluyen lavadora / secadora, WiFi, TV por cable con HBO y Cinemax, sistema estéreo, parrilla a gas, piscina.

This property was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. Our host was great and easy to work with. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The pool was awesome and the closeness to the beach was so convenient and fun. We would 100% stay here again.

This was our second year staying at this property. Location of the home was perfect. First year we stayed and everything was perfect. This year when we arrived the pool wasn’t clean. The days they were suppose to clean the pool it wasn’t cleaned. The pool company came out at one time and said it wouldn’t backwash and then another time they came out and said it was 3 bags low on salt, and neither time was the pool fixed or taken care of. By day 6 there was algae growing in the pool.

We were immediately impressed with how spacious and beautiful this home is. It is even roomier than it appears in pictures. It is clear that this is their home and is treated as such. Janet and Carson were very responsive and helpful when we had any questions. We are already planning our trip back next year and can’t wait to stay here again!

We had 6 adults and one toddler ( almost 3 years old). If you stay here you may want to bring a stair gate if you have smaller children. We used one last year but didn’t need it this year. Plenty of room for everyone. The house is perfect. The 3 full bathrooms are huge with plenty of space to put your things away. All the bedrooms are a good size. For me the beds were comfortable. They’re a little on the soft side but I slept well as did everyone else. The walk to the beach is a short one. The pool is fantastic. The outdoor shower has hot water. The elevator is a life saver. Communication with the owners is spot on. There is nothing negative about this house. We’re looking forward to next summer already.

This was our fifth summer vacation spent at the Copeland House on Oak Island. Such a beautiful, spacious home equipped with everything we needed to make our fourth perfect. Well-stocked kitchen, swimming pool, easy walk to the beach, and plenty of room for our family. We are looking forward to next summer!

We had a fantastic week-long stay at this beautiful home. It easily accommodated our large family, it is well-equipped, has extensive amenities and the owners are so friendly and communicative. We did not want leave and hope to come back next summer!

Our family was very happy with our stay! Having the pool was a great bonus for our almost 2 year old grandson and the rest of us. It was a great location, close to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walking on the scenic trails near the marsh accessible from the neighborhood. We found the kitchen to be stocked well and some great places to eat close by. We spent our last night with dinner at the house, out for ice cream and a nice walk on Ocean Creat Pier. It was a beautiful house and I highly recommend.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Oak Island during February. Home Away From Home is very aptly named! It's a beautiful home and a close walk to the beach.
It is also near a scenic walk with boardwalks and walking bridges over the marsh. That was a daily favorite.
There is an elevator, which I found very helpful. It was quiet during February at Oak Island so very relaxing.

Perfect location, beautiful home, everything we could ask for in a family vacation. We have been going on family vacations as long as I can remember and this is by far our favorite home we’ve stayed in. We had a small issue with the air conditioning upstairs, however the owners were very responsive and it was resolved quickly without interrupting our trip. Well stocked kitchen and the pool was awesome. We would love to stay here again!

By far the best house we’ve stayed in on Oak Island. There is so much room in this house. There were six adults and one toddler in our group. The beds are very comfortable. We all slept great in them. The bathrooms are huge. The upstairs has everything you need to just hang out separately or with a group of people. The balcony upstairs is so nice to be on in the mornings while eating breakfast and drinking coffee. You can see the ocean. The kitchen has everything you need. There are plenty of spices and other cooking ingredients to use. The screened in back porch is nice to go sit and listen to the ocean or just hang out. The elevator is a big plus with getting luggage and groceries up to the house. The pool is amazing. The house is on a quiet street. We didn’t have loud neighbors while we were there. The walk to the beach takes only a few minutes. Janet communicated within minutes with me. You simply can’t go wrong with this house. We can’t wait to stay here again. We had a lovely week.

Our beach vacation could not have been more perfect---beautiful weather, gorgeous house, and plenty of nightly card games! Janet and Carson are always so accommodating. In fact, this was our fourth year staying at the Copeland House. Every room is beautifully decorated and so comfortable, the pool is enjoyed by all, and the screen porch is the perfect spot to feed the grandchildren! We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our meals. The ocean is a short walk away and the outdoor shower is ideal for washing off the sand. We had 5 adults 4 children ages 1-6. We had plenty of space. The outdoor shower SUCH A PLUS. The men LOVED the elevator for transporting all the luggage. There is a fun park and splash pad about 1/2 mile to one mile down the road. Beach in walking distance! There is a rental company which is VERY reasonable for everything like baby gates coolers beach carts. ( baby gate was $15 for the week) It would’ve been great to have that information ahead of time because it does fill up fast. The owners were VERY RESPONSIVE. House very clean and screen in porch was perfect for out door dining. Very short walk to the beach even the 3 yr old had no problem after a full day at the beach. Myrtle Beach is about an hour away we took in the pirate dinner & shopping and fun kids museum. Grocery stores close to the house and the kitchen well stocked. Everyone had a wonderful week.

Celebrating anniversaries and birthdays
This property was perfect for our family of adults and teens. lots of space to be together but also to find that quiet space to read . Having a pool was perfect since the ocean was rough. My husband with disabilities was very comfortable having an elevator and the pool. It made celebrating our 50th the best, everything we needed was there. Janet was amazing to work with answered all my questions immediately! So glad we chose this beautiful home !

This is a big beautiful house in a nice neighborhood within easy walking distance to the beach. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch with large dining table and the pool on the back of the house.

Family Vacay
We had such a blast! Renting from Carson and Janet was such a great experience! The house is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect space for my family and parents! We had a slight hiccup with the elevator but Carson was so kind in helping us navigate and getting help out to save “blankie”! Our girls loved the pool! The distance to the beach was convenient but I wish we would have rented their golf cart for the week. Definitely will next time! Oak island is lovely and so family friendly. We will be back! Thanks so much for having us!

Beautiful Hurricane Proof Home
Yep, we were the renters that were there when Isaias hit Oak Island in the worst possible way! But let me tell you about this beautiful home that kept us safe ! First of all it’s our second visit (and yes we will come back a third time) the house is everything you see online and now I can say that it is hurricane proof! Our visit was cut short due to the mandatory evacuation as many other homes unfortunately did not do as well as the Copeland House ! Janet & Carson are the best; very responsive and just a phone call away ! Don’t hesitate to rent this house and come to Oak Island (just don’t take the week I want !!)
