What a great place right on the mountain. Had plenty of room for two families and the air hockey table ruled for kids of all ages. We hope to stay again!

We booked this house last minute after our first rental canceled on us so I didn't have a ton of time to scrutinize this house online, but we were very pleasantly surprised with it in person. The upper level is where the kitchen, den, and dining room is. There is a wrap around deck accessible from the den where you can watch all the action going down on the slopes! I could see my daughter on the bunny hill and husband coming down the mountain while my son napped every afternoon. The middle level has 3 bedrooms and the washer/dryer. The lower level has the bunk room with a set of bunks and a twin bed and in the hallway is another set of bunks. I wouldn't advise the hallway set for younger children as there is no door to close them off so for safety/noise sake maybe put older children there. From the lower level is where you can walk out, cross the bridge over the creek (which also provides wonderful sound!) and then ski down to the first lift or just walk past the lift and onto the main resort grounds. I don't think there is a better house/location than this one! The kitchen had all the pots/pans and spices I needed. There was ample room for seating in the dining room and den. The heat/air situation is a little confusing as there are heaters in individual rooms, but we went during spring break so really only needed a little heat at night.
I would definitely recommend this house to anyone. Oh there's also a firepit and chairs by the creek so bring stuff to make smores!

We were returning customers but not anymore after this stay. We got there after 5pm and the place was not cleaned. Cleaning lady got there at 6:45pm and left at 8:30pm claiming she fell and hurt her wrist. We saw her carrying two large trash bags with her “hurt” wrist. We contacted the owner and they didn’t ever say sorry. They said “our hearts go out to her” but nothing else. We ended up cleaning the entire upstarts, all of the bathrooms, and finish making the beds. I wanted some kind credit for us cleaning the cabin but nothing. We paid a lot of money to stay there and ended up cleaning the whole place ourselves. Will not be coming back. Extremely disappointed withy the property owners.

Had a wonderful stay. This house has the perfect setup for all your winter gear. I love that I can see all the action from the living room couch because I don't like the snow. I just like to watch my children.

We had 10 people staying at this property, two family groups and it was perfect for us. There were plenty of bed, all comfortable, and plenty of space for us to stretch out. The kids occupied the 3rd floor and the adults all had rooms on the second. Our party enjoyed exploring the mountain and we would love to visit again sometime.

Very clean and super comfortable. Very convenient to the ski slope if that is an interest. Easy walk to the ski lodge and associated buildings. Well stocked kitchen, high-end towels and sheets. Plenty of room on each level, nice dining room and common area. Gas fire logs. A very nice property.

We stayed with 3 families and everyone had their space. Location is perfect as you can walk or ski right to the lifts. Loved sitting and watching the wildlife on the deck. Definitely going to book again

We had a lovely time and highly recommend the house. Four couples came together for a weekend of laughter, fun and fellowship. There was more than enough space throughout the house to gather. It was a perfect location and great walking distance to the base of the mountain and lifts. We are already planing our next trip. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Cabin is very beautiful, spacious with a breathtaking view, it has almost everything you need for extended stay. Our family we used to go away ones or twice a year up to the mountains to spend time together and SISO the ROCK has really gone beyond our expectations. We had a really nice time skiing. The views from the house were great and I enjoyed being able to take breaks from skiing and go back to the house during the day. The house had plenty of room for our 8 guests. I would like to visit again during the summer and will try to book this same house.

We had 6 adults and 5 kids 7 and under. The bedrooms and kids room worked perfect. The only negative is that it rain most of the time. But we still had enough breaks in the rain that everybody had a great time!!

This was our 3rd time staying because it’s such a great house and location. Perfect for multiple families. Right on the mountain with easy access to ski.

We stayed at the property for our family ski vacation….it was easily accessible….our grandchildren of all ages loved the house…the young grandchildren loved the hallway bunk beds for playing on the first floor…it was also our late family Christmas and we even had a Christmas tree…the view from the living room and deck was great…the owner stayed in touch and everything was as promised…we loved it!!!

Great location on the mountain. Just walk out the back door and you are there at the slopes. The bunk room was a giant hit with our kids, very well done. Great house for a family ski trip. Hosts were easy and had things stocked, labeled, and the home was perfect.

Great location! My favorite was sitting at the firepit in the backyard watching the kids ski down the mountain. Loved the views! Loved the easy access to skiing! Fireplace inside gave a great warm feeling! Loved the game closet! Place was great with everything we needed! Lots of blankets, towels, comfy beds. Can’t wait to stay again!

First time in Beech Mountain- did not know what to expect within the city. Just enough to do something daily- but not overwhelming to keep you overly busy. Restaurants were not worthwhile, we really just enjoyed the Pizza/Arcade option.
Also first time skiing and now we will never stay at a place that is not Ski In /Ski Out. Total game changer. The property had enough space to be cozy, great views and easy access. We skied 3 days and probably up to 8 hours per day. Ski in the morning, each lunch/dinner and then night skiing until 10pm. So fun! Can’t wait to book again.

Siso the Rock was fantastic as was communication with the owner. This home provided our family of 9 with everything that we could need, the kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, everything was labelled and easy to find and the 3 floors gave everyone ample space and a place to get away if needed, along with a beautiful view of Beech Mountain. Siso the Rock is a true Ski-in Ski-out and the ski room on the bottom floor made for easy access to the mountain and plenty of storage for all of our ski equipment. On this trip the parking pad being level with the road was very convenient because with all the snow and ice getting up and down a steep driveway would have been difficult. This home was perfect for our family Christmas trip and we would definitely stay again.

We went to Christmas light show at Tweetsie Railroad. It was amazing. Loved the restaurants near by as well. The beds are very comfortable and we loved having a fireplace. We arrived for a blue sky weekend at the peak of leaf season. We spent every moment possible on the hiking trails. Hosts’ recommendations were perfect. Time in the house was cozy and comfy. 5 year old loved the air hockey and her “ bear cave” bunk bed. The baby loved everything - as babies do - and kept us all engaged practicing stairs and playing on the porch. Spacious, well-equipped kitchen, wonderful weekend!

Cool summer retreat
Accommodations were great and fit our family of 11 perfectly. All 5 kids and 6 adults had a bed which was comfortable. The house is clean and well stocked. The TV didn’t work and the owner didn’t respond but the overall experience was great
