¡Bienvenido a High Country! NOSOTROS amamos nuestro hogar y queremos compartirlo con otros, para brindar alegría y vacaciones memorables a todos. No se sentirá decepcionado en nuestra casa de montaña maravillosamente equipada. Cuento con nosotros para quitarle la preocupación a sus vacaciones familiares, solo traiga sus pertenencias personales y disfrute. Realmente puedo decir, esta será una de las vacaciones que apreciará y recordará. Por lo tanto, no dude en hacer nuestra casa suya, durante una semana, mes o todo el verano.
Lo más destacado de nuestra casa ..... 3 pisos con salas de estar y dormitorios individuales. Esto deja sin aglomeraciones y mucho espacio personal. Si me lo pregunta, esta es nuestra función número 1, particularmente para reuniones multifamiliares.
Las comodidades abundan en nuestra área, golf, tenis, kayak, senderismo, rafting, tubos, paseos a caballo y simplemente relajarse, por nombrar algunos. Para aquellos de ustedes que visitan por primera vez, me siento seguro de expresar mi opinión ... ¡VOLVERÁS!

This property is literal minutes from sugar mountain resort, grocery store, & restaurants. The location couldn’t be better.
The layout was perfect for our large group & we never felt cramped.
Ken went above & beyond for us when we had an issue (unrelated to the property). He was understanding & flexible. Great host!!

This was our second Thanksgiving holiday in this home. It’s perfect for large families and groups. Conveniently located and pretty easily accessible. It is an older home but perfect when you have lots of kids. We had no need to speak with the owner this year, but last year when we did he was very kind and helpful. Overall great experience.

I am the president of a women’s rugby team at UNCC and we stayed at this cabin for the 2nd year in a row for an annual fall tournament. The house suited out needs perfectly and it’s looking like it will be the “official” cabin we stay at for years to come!

The place was exceptional for the 12 people. The house was clean and well stocked. It was the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. The wood fireplace was perfect as well. There were no complaints about the property.

The house was very conveniently located to all the attractions that we went to (including the grocery store multiple times lol). There was 14 of us in the house with plenty of room and with three floors, it didn't seem crowded at all. While we were there, we experienced a power outage while it was in the twenties outdoors. The owner of the house responded to my 7am text in less than 5 minutes (amazing response). He contacted the power company immediately who responded and rectified the issue with two power trucks in less than an hour❤️. As the owner indicated in our pre-arrival email, you may need an AWD or 4WD vehicle if the driveway is wet or it's snowy as it is not paved. Really the only negative thing I could say about the house is that it could use some updating of some appliances and furnishings. We would definitely rent again if in the area.

We loved this property. It was everything it was sold as. There was plenty of space for the family and lots of opportunity for the kids to play outside and enjoy the area. The owner was very accommodating and was easily accessible. We were very pleased.

The pictures don’t show the true size of this property. Great location from everything around. Very clean and up to standard.

House was clean. There were leaves in-front of the house and on decks. When we arrived at night, we were nervous as we couldn't see the path at all. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay. Management was very quick to respond.

This three level house had plenty of bedrooms with king or queen beds, which was important for our mostly adult, multi-generational group. The location made it easy to explore the area - sugar, banner elk, Boone, blue ridge parkway, blowing rock, and more.

Great Family mountain house
Great vacation. Owner was very accommodating and easy to work with. House had plenty of room and kitchen was well stocked. A/c unit upstairs was badly leaking water into bowls which would spill over everyday. Had to keep dumping bowls. Decks/porches need to be cleaned.
Really had a great time at the July 4th festivities in Banner Elk. Enjoyed the fireworks from Sugar Mtn. Would stay here again.

nice place for large family
We had a large family of 8 ADULTS and 5 children. We had ample
space for sleeping and beds comfortable. Kitchen had all needed. Downstairs shower hard to use but others adequate. The place could use an upgrade in technology and TV in middle bedroom cable non functional. Owner probably could get free upgrades with a call. More lighting needed and a few hugger ceiling fans would help with summer heat and lighting.
Outside deck in dire need of cleaning and not useful. A few cheap outdoor chairs and deck cleaning would enhance the place for summer use. Also lock box a pain to use. A simple key code lock would resolve this with little cost and no need for key which I constantly worried about losing. Spiral staircase for 3 floors tight for those with handicaps and stone entrance to house had loose stones and a fall hazard if not careful.
All this meant for constructive criticism. With these corrections this house would be a gem. It is close to all and the layout ideal for a large family. We enjoyed our stay and if these small corrections made I would give the place a 5 star rating.

Family vacation
The property exceeded our expectations. My wife and I booked a trip for our 4 married children and their kids. (our grandkids). Group of 15. Close to sugar mountain ski resort and other attractions. everyone enjoyed.

Enjoyed the stay
Nice property with multiple stories. Kenneth has responded promptly to all the questions and kindly extended the check-out time as per my request. This property is in a good location and close to GF mountain, Alpine coaster, restaurants and Food Lion. 1st floor has a Bedroom with attached bathroom and the other 2 levels has 2 bedrooms with jack and Jill bathroom.

Great property & responsive host
Brought the family out for a week vacation. The house is huge. Lots of windows. Comfortable. Husband and kids loved the air hockey table. Kenneth was highly responsive to questions. Great location near groceries, restaurants, amusements, and hiking. Fun seeing wild turkeys wandering the neighborhood. Not the house for folks who have difficulty going up and down stairs.

Large house with 3 stories so you could have quiet areas and more busy areas without being on top of each other’s. Close to alot of outdoors activities and shopping (Blowing Rock).
