The house is very comfortable and beautiful, the patio area and pool are very relaxing, my only complaint is that the pool is a little on the cold side they can make it warmer but you have to pay extra and it is not cheap. The beach is clean and shallow perfect for young ones to enjoy safely. Someone else was mentioning in another review why you needed a concierge to schedule tours and other stuff and I realized that you do not need a concierge to schedule anything for you, you can do it yourself very easily ifyou take the little extra time to search online. It will cost you less for sure

Excellent Location! Ruben was very helpful during our stay. He also helped us a coordinate a snorkeling tour an a whale shark dive.

The amenities and service were beyond wonderful. I highly recommend the chef package. We arrived to homemade tacos and margaritas, and woke up to a full breakfast the next morning.

House and location were amazing. Concierge and staff at resort were all great, responsive and friendly. We had a medical emergency and the response by the resort was top notch. Only complaint is that some of the water toys are a bit on the older side and additional cost to run the hot tub. Location in general can be windy but otherwise beautiful. Would recommend for sure. The staff were perfect. We do not demand much youth they were spot on with what they delivered. The meals were tasty and abundant. The property is easy to get to though provides the kind of peace y0u find on remote places.

We love staying here while in La Paz. The ferry makes it easy to get back and forth from town. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. The house is perfect for multiple families and making memories.

It's not JUST the property, which is phenomenal all on its own, that made this the most amazing vacation. I really, really could go on and on about the home itself. It was incredible! But, it's so much more... Starting with a warm welcome greeting and introduction to the home over ice-cold margaritas, a DELICIOUS home cooked Mexican dinner, concierge to make sure all your needs are met so you can enjoy your time completely stress free, an on-demand shuttle, golf on the island, massage at home, and so much more. I have to make special note about the lovely ladies that made our stay so wonderful. I am very likely misspelling their names, and for that I apologize. Ayuday and Hanya welcomed us personally with ice cold margs, and chips and dip to welcome us to the home. Later that evening they returned to cook a special authentic Mexican feast, and my-oh-my was it fantastic! During their prep and cooking, they finished my sons laundry, unbeknownst to us. They came back and made us breakfast. They went out on their own time and brought us extra sunscreen before our sea lion experience (see below). The ladies were PHENOMENAL, they took care of us in many more ways than advertised, and we felt extremely lucky to have them! I also cant forget our concierge, Ruben. His communication and help with organizing everything was amazing. He really does want your visit to be perfect! On top of ALL of that is the location, 1 minute or less from a soft white sand beach that stretches (literally) as far as the eye can see. Just right off the patio is the Sea of Cortez, where every day there were multiple pods of dolphins swimming 30-50 yards off shore (Late September early October), hundreds of crabs that come to shore at night, thousands of Friggate birds, pelicans, cranes, and even stingrays. And those are just the ones I remember! Oh and don't forget- optional tours and services are a MUST if you're visiting for the first (probably any) time. We went on the swim with sea lions tour booked through our concierge. Find my separate review under "On Board Baja", but for multiple reasons, this was a MUST and should not be skipped. This "place" is amazing. From the region of earth it inhabits, the magote/island on which it's built, the dwelling itself is comfortable and spacious, and the pool that invites you for endless hours of refreshment and relaxation, and the entire experience that comes with it. I cannot recommend renting this home any higher!

We were there for Thanksgiving. Weather was great, evening thought it rained a little.... We really enjoyed our week there!! Would definitely stay again.

This was the perfect get away for us! 5 couples that are life long friends from High School and live in different states met for a week of fun. It checked all the boxes- beautiful atmosphere, private pool, amazing food and service, exercise opportunities in biking and kayaking, and genuine interest in making our stay memorable by the property facilitators. We have recommended several times already!

We stayed at Humberto’s beautiful home for 9 days and each day was amazing. The moment you arrive you know that you are in for a peaceful stay. This home is very nicely decorated, spacious, comfortable and had all of the luxuries of home. Not only was it fully stocked with the basics, it had everything…ocean and pool toys, washer and dryer, lots of clean, great smelling towels, steam room, I could go on and on. Humberto was very helpful with our arrival plans. Our concierge Reuben ensured that we had everything we needed and made all of our excursion arrangements and fulfilled our requests. Our chefs, housekeepers, shuttle and ferry drivers made this vacation one of our best ever. Everyone was extremely kind and welcoming. We LOVED it and will definitely be back. Thank you Humberto and Reuben…you are the best!!!!!

House is lovely, being right at the beach made it a perfect trip. We could not use the pool as it was not clean and at one point green. Seems the pumps need to run more. Even with that we had a wonderful trip and stay and will return. Our group was mainly interested in the ocean so it was not a real inconvenience this trip.

Loved the property, the beach was amazing. The staff phenomenal.

House was amazing, staff was phenomenal, everything was nearly perfect! We had 14-people so we rented 2 houses near each other; staff handled both houses and everything seamlessly! I communicated without issue with Ruben through “WhatsApp” and he took care of everything, which was no easy task for 14 people deep! Haydee and Hannia were our personal chefs/housekeepers. They worked so hard for us and literally every meal was f’kn fantastic!! 🤩 Ruben organized the most perfect day and rented 2 boats for us; we snorkeled with Sea Lions, had lunch on a private beach, paddle boarded, visited the natural, protected habitats, and danced, laughed, and drank all day! The captain even took us to see some whales! If I had to find something to change/recommend, might want to consider maintaining the path to the beach a little more or adding wood planks or something. Walking barefoot was HOT and stickers hurt. It was such a great time though, they really took care of us!! We will be back!!

Great house right on the beach at Paraiso Del Mar on the Magote. The pictures are accurate. The house is wonderful, very clean. Two huge master bedroom suites with very spacious bathrooms. The 3rd bedroom in the main house and the casita are also nice. The backyard is amazing with the pool, spa, fire pit, swim-up bar and even a steam room and extra bathroom. From the backyard, you can walk down to the beach, which stretches for miles and is basically empty. Almost no people. The property manager is very helpful and can arrange for whatever you’d like. We had groceries delivered and rented a golf cart to get around the area. Overall, a great place to relax and get away from it all. We didn’t want to leave.

We all had pretty high expectations going into this vacation after a lack of traveling due to Covid19. Somehow this place managed to exceed all of those expectations. The house itself was gorgeous and extremely clean. After a day of travel we walked into the house that smelled like the best Mexican food and fresh margaritas. The long table was overflowing with delicious, fresh food. The beauty of the backyard is inexplicable. It didn't feel like a private house, it felt like a private island! Nice and quiet and very excluded. The pool was perfect, the nights we chose to turn the hot tub on were worth it and the outdoor kitchen was used frequently! I recommend having Aide cook you a few meals. She has magic chef hands and we all wanted to take her home with us! To top it off, she has the warmest personality! Thank you to Reuben for setting things up for us! The private boat charter was beyond words. We swam with sea lions, saw blue whales, paddle boarded with turtles, had an amazing lunch on a secluded beach and the dolphins led us home. We lived like kings and queens for a week at a very affordable price!

It has everything you can possibly think of: warm swimming pool, hot tub, steam room, grill, kayaked, paddle boards, table games, gourmet kitchen. Bicycles available for free in three different locations within few minutes of walk. You can rent golf cart for 4 or 6 people to drive around community. There are two restaurants close by: next to condominiums, and at the golf course. You can ask to buy fresh fish in the restaurant at the condo. Whale sharks( biggest fish in the world) feeding grounds are 10 minutes by boat. Sea lions communities close by and Balandra beautiful beaches 30 minutes by boat. Excellent location, and wide variety of activities for all ages within very private secluded set up.It is very closely managed by concierge, and fir some reason you need to contact him fir every shall thing: schedule of maid services, on and off times of hot tub, tours, etc etcIt would be much easier if you can have control over all that by contacting people who are involved( masseuses, tour guides, boat owners, hot tub switch :) directly without interim person. Interim person involvement creates extra chore, and feeling of someone trying to controlOther people services. Just a thought...You can have brochures on tours, and services available at the villa, and let people communicate with service people directly?We really enjoyed villa and all it has to offer, but were a bit frustrated with ongoing need to request things through concierge. We just spent 6 nights at Paraiso Del Mar Casa 283 and had a wonderful week. The location is amazing. The house was well kept and amenities are good. We enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking just outside the house on our own beach and almost no one else around. Very private.

This one is exactly as advertised yet still exceeded our expectations. It is so close to the beach. The outdoor area is phenomenal from the pool to the hot tub and hammock. We loved the steam room. The prepared meals were also very good.

Overall beautiful home. Bedrooms were private with their own on suite bathrooms. Perfect for our party of 7. Maid service and optional meals were a great bonus. On fishing days shuttle back was tuff because we could never make the 5 or 6 o’clock boat to mainland because our group couldn’t fit in crowded van. But we managed to make it back by the skin of our teeth. Will certainly come back to La Paz. Loved the small city Vibe, safety,& good restaurants. Only beg. Was pool turned green and Matience over chlorinated pool. But we enjoyed going to Condo pool after that with food & drinks. We even had a wonderful dinner at the resort pool.

The property is everything as advertised on VRBO. The pool is amazing and the beach is great. Aide and Ruben managed the property to a 5 star standard. I definitely want to come back sometime soon.

We had such an amazing time at this property! Ruban & Aide were the best! Ruban took care of all our needs from groceries to adventures out. Aide was the Chef and hands done some of the best food we have every had! She made our stay better than we could have ever expected. We will for sure come back to this property!

Will definitely come back. The house is self contained so you don’t even have to leave the property to enjoy the stay. The view is amazing. See dolphins and other wildlife right outside the window. The only thing was that had to pay separately for jacuzzi to be turned on and no one said anything about it in advance until we got a bill. Kind of annoying.

The house and location were absolutely incredible. Special thanks also to Ruben for making everything so easy for us. He went above and beyond to organise shopping, transport and a wonderful day trip to the islands. One of the best holiday rentals we have ever stayed in. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at your home in La Paz. We wanted to find a place to take our 91 year old mother, this place was perfect. Everything from pre-ordering groceries, wine and beer to having dinner and Margaritas waiting for us upon arrival made the stay memorable. Reuben was always available by text to answer questions, make restaurant recommendations and reservations. Haydee, our sweet housekeeper is also a wonderful cook who prepared several meals for us that were amazing. Hopefully we’ll be able to go back to enjoy this place again.

This property was beautiful and perfect for our group to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The house was great, as fantastic as the photos. Enjoy the wonderful beach and Sea of Cortez just steps away from the amazing pool. I loved paddle boarding in the mornings. I couldn't recommend having Aide' cook you a meal, she made the birthday dinner for 16 and we all agree it was the best meal of our stay. Just say yes to fish and shrimp tacos! Concierge Ruben arranged our tours and each one was beyond expectation. Whale Shark Swim, Sea Lion Snorkel, Balandra Beach - do them all! You won't regret it. The company Ruben booked us with was top of the line and we have some wonderful pictures/videos they provided. The ferry operators and Van drivers were all so kind and helpful. The only issue we had was with mosquitos. If the pests are a fan of you (like they are of me) then prepare for that. I came home with over 3 dozen bites. The house has screen doors which we appreciated, but they are all around the island. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and property choice. Our entire group fell in love with La Paz! We would definitely book this casa again!
