Great location just off a main freeway going into Houston.

The beds had hair on them, the toilet was missing a seat, several flies buzzing around when I first walked in and the room reeked of cigarettes. Only positive thing was the receptionist was very nice and the location is just off of a main freeway going into Houston. I understand that it’s a 2 star hotel but that should mean that there are less amenities NOT dirty rooms. Made my reservation through Booking and requested to have the hotel waive the fees since I was only in the room for less than 30 minutes before cancelling the room and returning the key. Of course they said that they couldn’t refund me because I had already checked in. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $20 a night to stay at a Motel 6.
