This house had everything we needed for our family vacation. It was well equipped and its location was in a quiet neighborhood with an easy drive into town. The host provided great recommendations and was easy to communicate with throughout the entire booking and pre-stay process. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place for our family to come together for our grandson’s first birthday. The house was perfect, lots of room for my husband and myself and our two daughters and their families. We saw deer in the backyard and a moose down the street. Ping pong tournaments and the Olympics! Lots of fun was had by all. Thank you Sarah. You’re home is wonderful.

We spent a week in this beautiful cabin. It felt like home. The kids enjoyed all that was made available for their entertainment and its located in a quiet area close to Grand Lake which we absolutely adore.

My wife and I had a family reunion at the "Lakeside Mountain Retreat" with our 3 sons, their wives, and our 5 grandchildren, all under age 6. This house was perfect for our gathering. There was plenty of space to gather together as well as find some space for yourself. The kitchen was supplied with everything needed to prepare big meals. This house was great for adults but also the little ones. The kids enjoyed playing in the playhouse as well as the arcade games in the basement. From the back deck, the grandkids were thrilled to watch deer come thru the backyard on two different days. We took daily walks around the lake and even saw a momma moose and her baby. My boys and I chartered a lake fishing trip thru Kirk's Fly Shop and caught several rainbow trout. Our guide, Brian, was very patient with us and even cleaned the fish for us. We grilled them up for a family dinner that night at the house. A great experience. This house was perfect for our family mountain getaway, and we would highly recommend it. Our host, Sarah, was great. She was quick to respond and even gave us great advice on family things to do in the area. Overall, this was a great experience for our entire family, and we hope to be back again someday.

The property was fantastic! The layout is perfect for a large family with a wide range of ages. So roomy, nice size bedrooms and outside areas for family time from the balcony to the hot tub and fire pit. Close to the lakes and town. It was a perfect retreat for our family. Sarah was wonderful and checked in regularly to make sure all was good for our stay. I highly recommend!

Beautiful house with gorgeous views of the mountains. This house was perfect for our grandkids ages 2-15. The beds we’re comfortable, the hot tub enjoyable and the game room was a perfect way for them to unwind .
Great location! It was a five minute drive to Grand Lake. Short drive to the Rocky National Park. We enjoyed Atving, horseback riding and white water rafting. All within a short distance.

This was a great spot for our family trip to the Colorado mountains and had enough space for Grandma, our family of four, 2 cousins and an uncle. The location was great - near Grand Lake and very close to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park - and the house had cozy charm and nice amenities. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and the arcade games, and everyone enjoyed eating on the deck, the hot tub and the propane fire pit where we roasted marshmallows in the evening. When I needed assistance, the owners were quick to answer texts and provide help.
There were a few minor drawbacks - the lake next to the house is for private residents only, which was disappointing & not clear before booking (it's calmer than Grand Lake and I would have liked to take the kids out on it), and although the washer and dryer are there for use, there isn't laundry detergent provided. I also had trouble tracking down conditioner. So, if you do decide to stay here (and I recommend it - as I said, these are minor), I'd recommend bringing your own.
Overall, we'd be delighted to stay here again for a future family trip and have already recommended it to another branch of the extended family.

This was the perfect vacation home/cabin for our family. We had 10 family members at the cabin and 6 family members from around the corner come for dinner and games every night. The house is spacious and so well laid out. The high windows in the family room are amazing. My grandkids (15-30 years old) loved the ping pong table. They had tournaments every night. Great location! Everyone commented how beautiful the house is and perfect for our family vacation. Great location!

Had an excellent time staying at this cabin. Comfortably fits multiple couples in the large bed rooms. Tons of space for activities inside and out with a very short drive to town. Overall just want anyone would need to escape to the wilderness.

We had a fantastic time on our family trip to Grand Lake! The house was beautiful and had everything we could have wanted and more. We loved looking at the stars from the hot tub every night and quiet mountain sunrises each morning. The host was super helpful and quick to reply to our questions and recommendations. Had a great time with our big extended family! What a fabulous house and so nicely equipped with more than we ever needed but certainly enjoyed!
The homeowner was so helpful in the lead up. The house was amazing for our stay and we I think we made it into Rocky Mountain National Park for at least one hole every day! We were so close to the entrance.

This property has everything you could possibly need for a very enjoyable stay. The hot tub was such a bonus! It is close to town, but the house is situated in a beautiful woodsy/mountain area. Six of us stayed here and there was tons of room and places to spread out. The owner was wonderful to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here!

Awesome experience!
We stayed at this beautiful home with our adult/teen aged children. We had an absolutely wonderful time! The ping pong table and jacuzzi were huge hits and the kitchen and dining room were big enough to easily accommodate our group of 7. We loved exploring the quaint town of Grand Lake. When I booked this home for our trip I was concerned about having to travel to Granby and Fraser for skiing and snowmobiling, but the drives were not bad at all and gave us the opportunity to see the beautiful scenery and wildlife. I highly recommend this home!!

Family getaway
Wow, we had such a wonderful stay! This was the perfect property for 3 families with 5 children 7 and under. The kids loved the playhouse and all of the toys and games and the adults loved the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property!

White Christmas
We had such wonderful time. This was a first time trip to Colorado and we weren't disappointed. The cabin had everything we needed. Super cozy and lots to do if you get snowed in! Bedrooms were big, beds were comfy. Thank you Sarah for everything and checking in on us of we needed anything or needed any tips on things to do. We will definitely plan on coming back!

Excellent accommodations- highly recommended
I highly recommend this home for large groups wanting to stay in the Grand Lake area. The house was beautiful, well maintained and well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. We have rented VRBO’s for many years and this is by far the best one. The communication with the renter was awesome - she was very prompt at answering our questions. The house is close to town and in a private neighborhood. All the appliances worked well and the hot tub was awesome. I don’t think there was anything we were disappointed in.

Great place for families
This property is great for families with young children. The playhouse upstairs is great. Bedrooms are distributed so that napping toddlers aren't disturbed by the rest of the family. The location is close to Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. The hosts were very communicative and helpful.

Perfect family vacation!
The kitchen was well equipped for all our Midwest baking and cooking! From the deck, we saw moose and/or deer every single day! Our family enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement leading to a full on double elimination tournament! Great area for walking and quick access to RMNP.
The owners are THE MOST amazing hosts of all my experience on VRBO. I was able to text with questions and they were answered immediately leading us to have a hassle-free vacation. A definite YES if you had any hesitation.

Family trip
Our family loved this house!! We were traveling with children and grandparents and all generations adored the house. The kids squealed over the playhouse, the ping pong and foosball tables, and the arcade game. The house was so clean and so spacious. The owners sent us a nice welcome message and seemed genuinely glad to have us stay. We would love to stay at this house again!

AMAZING HOME
We had a group of 3 families staying with ages ranging from mid 60s down to 7 years old. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and have our own space. The owners were overly responsive to any and all needs we had. The people of the neighborhood and the community of Grand Lake were unbelievably friendly. We enjoyed everything about our stay and would strongly recommend this property to anybody looking to stay in the area!!!

Family Vacation
Cabin rental was great!, Some of the business were closed for season, ATV rental was closed for season, Boating was great, a lot of trails for hiking, great views of mountains and wildlife, Community of Grand Lake very friendly. Realy enjoyed the stay. Would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful!!
This VRBO was wonderful! The location is perfect, not too busy but plenty to do. The owners were very flexible as we booked before stay-at-home orders were in place. They were very accommodating, especially when a family member was hospitalized and we need to change things at the last minute. The property was large enough with room to spare and we lacked for nothing. It was comfortable and relaxing. We give it10 stars out of 5.

Excellent Accommodations!
We just finished our incredible vacation at this cabin! My Husband and I brought 5 kids (ages 9-13) plus mother in law and we all had tons of room to spread out, have fun, make all our meals and eat together at the large dining room table! 3 level cabin the was beyond cozy, we had everything we needed! The town and neighborhood were so great. Our daily drives to the store, ski resort and Starbucks were filled with spectacular views and wildlife spotting’s!
The owners were so helpful and thoughtful during our entire stay. I highly recommend renting this property.

Great Grand Lake Stay!
This is a great property, very clean and a great open layout for being with your friends/family. Big spacious bedrooms! 3 baths! The photos do a very accurate job of showcasing the home. Great kitchen layout and is equipped to handle your cooking chores if desired. Large 5 seating center island and open to the 8 person dining room table. We enjoyed the large deck with table and gas grill. The owner was very responsive and accommodating with our arrival time! Thank you an we'll be back!
