We loved our stay! The manager was very responsive and helpful when we asked about additional towels. The house was perfect for multiple families - we could spread out, cook meals, enjoy apres ski in the hot tub and sauna or by the fire! The kids also loved the foosball table. Super convenient location and very cozy! Great ski weekend and we'd love to come back again!

The house is beautiful and very well located, easy to reach and yet quiet. Access to the palisades ski resort base was easy either by foot or by the free mountaineer shuttle. Charles the owner was very responsive, very quick to communicate and to ensure our stay was the most comfortable possible. He answered any questions we had very quickly. Sauna, jacuzzi and wifi were all functional. The kitchen was well equipped. Firewood had been stored for the entire stay. Overall a great stay and great house

Lovely spacious well-equipped home with beautiful views. We had three generations gathered for a family reunion. Plenty of room to gather, or to find your own corner to read a book. Great location with easy access to groceries, ice cream, and restaurants. We did a lot of hiking and found the house to be perfectly situated. Charles is a kind and gracious host who strives to provide the perfect experience.

The main reception room is a big sunny room with fabulous views and a great wood burning fire, for which there was plenty of wood provided. A great place to gather. The study was very useful for those in our group who had to do some remote work. The Wi-Fi was good which was also important. The house is located on a quiet street but only minutes to the slope. The mountaineer car service was excellent. The bathrooms are a bit dated and table settings and a few more glasses would have been nice. The owner was quick to respond and check in and check out was easy. Overall a good stay.

Absolute dream of the house, perfect for large groups

We rented this house for a team retreat and it was a lovely place for a group ski weekend. The house is luxurious and beautifully decorated and had all the amenities you could want in a getaway: hot tub, sauna, grill, fireplace, large TV in the den. Skiing couldn't be any more convenient with the Mountaineer shuttle doing door-to-door service. It was free (we opted to give tips to the drivers) and came within minutes once you order. The owner was communicative and accommodating even after some miscommunication on our part. Highly recommend this stay for a special ski weekend!

Upon our arrive and walking through the front door the view is just spectacular! From the living room you look across a meadow to the mountains and the ski resort of Tahoe Palisades. The large living room is a perfect spot to enjoy a great glass of wine, visit with family, enjoy the view and the warmth of the fire place. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and serve our meals. Eating around a large table together, again enjoying the views. The family room upstairs has a large sectional sofa that we all loved watching the 49ers beat Dallas!! Beds and linens were all extra comfy. The downstairs game room was perfect for our teens, and they enjoyed playing foosball and of course the bunk room. The home was spotless, super clean and it's a large home with 6 bedrooms and 3 living areas. Charles, thank you for sharing your home and being a great host!!

We were super pleased to visit this property - it had a great location, incredible view, and lots of activities and space for our family with small and older children to run around. The hot tub and sauna worked well and there was no better place for our family to have been stranded and snowed in during the “storm of the century.” The property owner was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to put up our own Christmas tree and was super helpful when both the power went out and when the snow reached a height of about 6 feet in front of the house. Would love to stay here again with our family.

Used the house for a group of ten adults. House was perfect fit for our group and the location is second to none. Loved spending time out on the decks.

The property was lovely and it was great to have comfortable places for all 14 of us to sleep! Everything was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, there were smoky skies our last couple of days, but that couldn't be helped, of course. Beautiful spot!

Our extended family, including my parents and my kids as well as my siblings and nieces and nephews ranging in age from 10-18, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property! House was exactly as described: master bedroom/bath, half bath, kitchen, living space and dining room on entry level while remaining bedrooms and TV/fusball/hot tub deck on lower level. Great location just minutes from ski area, in fantastic neighborhood with views of the ski mountain out the window. Lots of space so folks had room to spread out in various locations. Check in and check out was easy and owner was incredibly responsive to our questions and needs.

The house was so much nicer in person than what the photos show. The host provided very concise home manual to follow and was very fast reply to any questions I had. My family had a great time staying there and would not hesitate to recommend someone to their place.

I was lucky to rent this home for an entire month with my extended family. We had 4 children (including 2 babies) and 10 adults. The proximity to Squaw made it easy to do drop-offs or even walk (on a path with a stroller) if the weather was nice. The layout was great to accommodate everyone’s needs, and there were plenty of comfortable places to work, eat, and hang out. There was no problem seating everyone in the living rooms and dining room. The bedrooms were all quiet, perfect for naps and different sleep schedules - three had beautiful views and balconies. The house was stocked with shampoo and conditioner, paper goods, condiments, and firewood upon arrival. The owner and house manager were responsive and accommodating. We miss the view of the mountains/valley and the hot tub, and I hope to rent the house again next season!

We enjoyed our stay so much !! The fireplace and the living room was so perfect for a large group. We had 13 ppl and never felt crowded. We loved the foosball and fireplace and played games at the large coffee table and all fit. The owner was communicative and helpful. We had a small mis communication but he totally made it right. I would recommend this home to anyone especially its great location. We walked to squaw village from the home and it was divine. There is a walking path with beautiful views of the valley. Great house and great location!!! We also hired a personal chef and he had all the kitchen essentials he needed so everything worked perfect in the kitchen as well. It’s 5 stars ⭐️ from us.

We had family traveling back to the Bay Area for Christmas this year and wanted to make it an unforgettable one by spending it in Tahoe. Upon looking through VRBO we found this lovely cabin in Squaw and couldn't be more happy with it! The house was clean the view from the living room was beautiful--especially after it just snowed! The location was perfect, a beautiful scenic walk to Squaw or if you have toddlers, like we had, the Squaw shuttle was extrememly convenient! The shuttle picks you up at your very door step! Communication with Charles, the owner of the cabin, was really easy and he was super responsive! Thank you again for opening up your home to our faimly during the holidays!

Beautiful and spacious home large enough for a big family group. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked to make home cooked meals. The location was perfect with hiking trails nearby and Squaw village just a very short distance away. We really enjoyed our stay here with our family and friends and the property manager was a pleasure to work with. His immediate response to all my questions made it seamless to checkin. We will certainly be looking to come back again soon!

My family and two other families with younger children stayed at the house for a ski weekend and had a great time. The house is huge with plenty of space for kids and adults to spread out. Plus there were toys that kept the kids entertained! The location is fantastic - right off the main road up to Squaw, so going skiing was very easy even on a very crowded weekend at the resort. There are beautiful views of the mountain, too from many of the rooms. Also, the owner was very kind and responsive. We would definitely stay there again!

This property is beautiful and very accommodating for our family! We had a wonderful time and hope to get up In the area again, we would definitely see if this property was available .

The positives are the views are beautiful, especially for those of us who live in the desert. The beds were very comfortable. The positives were outweighed by the negatives. Here is our list of deficiencies for this house. There were more, but our family didn’t want to take the time or effort to complain further. I think that is wrong. If you don’t know what is wrong, you can’t correct it and yet another family or group will be disappointed in their stay. 1. Sauna didn’t work at all. 2. Jacuzzi didn’t get warm at all (Repair man came the evening before we left) 3. No broom or dustpan (Bev had to bring) 4. House water warm not hot even before anyone started showering. 5. No kitchen storage containers (Tupperware or similar) 6. No beach towels 7. No recycling bags or containers 8. Freezer door handle falling off (Bev had to fix) 9. Kitchen not very clean, pullout kitchen shelves not clean 10. No blender or mixer 11. Trash compactor did not work at all (Bev aware of this) 12. Decks and benches very, very dusty 13. Upstairs plastic bathtub dangerously slippery, no handholds, no slip-free mat. 14. Upstairs bath mats dirty, looks like they were never washed. PS: I don’t fault Bev at all. She is very responsive and does the best she can with what she has to work with. Your cleaning crew leaves much to be desired. They do the obvious, but don’t look beyond their noses in the drawers or cabinets to wipe them down. The kitchen was very far from clean. Some photos worth a 1,000 words, however the site wouldn't take the photos I took.

2 mins from the Squaw base so can’t be a better location. House has ample beds and rooms for a really big group - we hosted a work offsite here so separate sleeping areas was key. It would also work for a family or two. Open kitchen/ living room/ dining room is great set up for hanging out. Covered hot tub with a killer view just what the doctor ordered after a full day on the slopes. And finally, Charles was great to coordinate with - he was responsive to a few last minute questions and was really helpful in making our stay first rate. Definitely hope to return!

Perfect view of the Squaw Creek Valley. Just a 3 minute drive to the slopes. Unfortunately there were a couple items that got broken from the tenants just checking out but Tuk (the property manager) briefed us on the items during check-in and had it all fixed later that evening. Charles and his team were awesome to work with before, during and after the trip. The home is very spacious and comfortably accommodates up to 14 people. The home is conveniently located only minutes away from the ski lifts, shops, restaurants and bars of Squaw. I highly recommend this home for anyone looking to visit Tahoe!
