This place is all about the location - on the beach, amazing view, walkable beach, away from the crowds, ABC Store across the street, as well as Sugar Beach Bake Shop and Ululani’s Shave Ice. The condo could use some updating, but that’s what’s keeping the price down. The other units are more expensive.

After visiting several sites that had vacation rentals, I found My Perfect Stays to be the best. They have a large selection of units at so many different properties. If you find a place on a different site I recomend going to My Perfect Stays site to see if they have the same property. The reservation process was very simple and the communication was perfect. I would use them again for my next Maui trip

Location is quiet, beautiful view, beautiful sunsets.
Condo had everything we could need. Even had a cooler for trips out. Everything works well. Was clean on our arrival and they left us a welcome package (try the Hawaiian hulapeno chips that was in there. Wish we could buy them here in Arizona)
We had a wonderful vacation and I would definitely recommend this condo and certainly stay there again if available

This unit is in a good location, right in front of beach. It quips about everything you need for a short stay. Only thing need to improve is the laundry room operating time could be longer.

Very dirty and extremely dated

The location was perfect for almost anything you wanted to do. We enjoyed that the beach was just a few steps away and so was the pool, we enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the balcony every morning and cocktails in the evening. Unit was as described clean and with everything you wanted. I would bring some seasoning and spices along with you, otherwise the place was great. We had a wonderful stay here with no issues at all.

This was our first visit to Maui and we can't wait to come back. We loved this location because it was quiet, pretty central, and the bay was calm. We went paddle boarding and snorkeling right outside our door every morning. The condo itself was surprisingly spacious. Any issues were handled quickly (the TV wasn't working right away and some old ladies got crabby with us about paddle board storage but, like I said, the staff was so great and solved the problems right away). It's a great location to be with kids because of the calm water. All of the other beaches we visited had much bigger wave action and would be difficult with small children. We hope to return with our kids someday!

First - MOLD!! This place apparently had severe flooding issues and has tons of mold spores throughout the Carpet. My husband is allergic and couldn’t breathe in the unit.
Second - PARKING Issues, there isn’t enough spaces for the amount of units.
Third - Vandalism!! Someone (person who resides at the condo complex) damaged our Turo Rental and Spit on our hood. This all had to do with the parking issues.
Fourth - Bedroom js located at entrance of unit by a very noisy highway.
Unfortunately, This place was not a good Vacation unit for us.

The location is very good. The condo was very nice. The carpet in the living room was soiled in several places. That didn't bother us, but just wanted you to know that we didn't do it. Also, one of the hand towels in the bathroom was a bit soiled. Again, no problem. No soap in bathroom or shower, so had to go buy some. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Perfect size for couple
Great location and size for my husband and I to use. The condo complex was well cared for and the condo itself seemed to be cleaned well. It could use some updating and TLC. The carpet was stained in multiple places and the bathroom door didn't close. The seam in the granite counter needs to be resealed to keep out bacteria and germs. The furniture is dated, but served its purpose the limited time we used it. Not sure I would want anyone sleeping on that sofa bed, seemed a bit sketchy to me... The lanai was perfect for whale watching while waiting for the sun to set. The location was perfectly situated to enjoy the island. We would stay here again. The property management company seemed to badger us about towels and linens. Maybe it is a problem, but mention it once and be done. I don't need emails, texts and notes in the condo telling me they will fine me if I don't take care of them.

Great for budget travel
We were a little disapointed. We had booked a stay and then contacted My Perfect Stays requesting to have the dates changed and was granted our request. So months later we had booked our flights and arranged a rental car only to find out that My Perfect Stays had not documented the change and despite many phone calls, they would not give us the dates we had reserved, only a small discount to offset our inconvenience. That required us to reschedule flights which resulted in added costs.
In our opinion, this unit would be fine for two people but definitely not 4. We had 3 people for a portion of our stay and the pull out sofa was pretty uncomfortable for 1 person and there was not enough bedding provided nor additional beach towels/chairs for more than 2 so keep that in mind.
We found the unit reasonably clean but had some difficulties with finding a place to plug in our cell phones. Most things in the unit were plugged in using extension cords which we believe to be a safety hazard. Also we happened to be there when they were spraying the whole building for pests which was quite an inconvenience and again we felt a safety issue.
The view from the lanai was beautiful and enjoyable. For an affordable/budget trip to Maui this place is nice.

We had a great time staying here. The beach out front is a great beach to stay at, or come back to after a day of exploring. The condo had so many items included! We appreciated the chairs & boards. Would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful, central, and clean
We really enjoyed our stay here! The condo was very nice and had everything we needed. It included beach supplies which was great! While we were there(late May) the beach out front was maybe not the best the island has for swimming but getting to all the good ones in Kihei, Wailea, or even over to Lahaina is very quick. We hope to come back soon!!

Amazing!
This property is perfect for a week or more here on Maui! Awesome location right on the beach. Directly across the street is a farmers market, ABC store and shaved ice! This a perfect home base as you get out and explore Maui. Come home in the eve and enjoy the ocean waves! Will book again!!

I have stayed at this condo bldg since 2009. Sometimes twice a year. This is by far my worst experience EVER. I didn’t not notify Perfectstay because I loath the thought of dealing with pesty sprayers or house cleaners after I've unpacked. It should never be necessary. This unit is in need of extreme cleaning. It was left not finished I presume. First...I found1. Someone else's leftover soap in the shower complete with scumb 2. Cobwebs 3. Soiled hand towels 4. Not sure what was on the rug, a big stain5. Toothpaste/soap splatter on the sink faucet6. Light burnt out in the bathroom7. This closet was unlocked so I grabbed what looked like a clean hand towel. 8. I could actually feel how spoiled the carpet was on my bare feet. It's Disgusting. 9. And to top it off I dealt with little no see em bugs all week. Yes I used the spray that was under the sink. They were in the sink, under the sink, all over the counters, in drawers and even made it to the table top. I kept my cereal and chips in the microwave and everything else in the refrig. I had to wash everything before I could eat to debug it. If I was the owner of this condo I would be livid with the lack of care. So no. No 5 star review from me.

Housekeeping needs attention.

Perfect location
The beach was absolutely amazing and the property had everything we needed and more. My perfect stays employees were all so friendly and made sure we were happy with everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again next time we vacation to Miami.

Escape to Maui
We lucked out and got great deals on our trip to Maui after surviving a year of the coronavirus craziness. We picked this place based solely off the view because we wanted something where we could hear the ocean. Well we were quite literally on the ocean with breathtaking views of sunset and tucked away in a quiet town where we could truly relax. There were plumbing issues day 1 but they were fixed promptly and no issues since. They were flexible and let us stay an extra hour when one of our tours had to be rescheduled due to weather. All the little extras for laundry, dishes, and cooking were great. We highly recommend this place for a couple or even with small kids as the beach is shallow and there is a small pool. Thank you!!!!

A picturesque location overlooking Sugar Beach.
Quick access to beautiful beach walks. Friendly office staff on the main floor.
Only concerns were we were unable to turn on the AC and the only directions we could find in the guide book (binder) were for the tv - no other appliances in the condo. Also (one person felt) the mattress was too old and felt lumpy.
We would definitely consider returning in the future!

Loved staying right by the ocean!
This was our first trip to Maui, and I wanted to be AT the ocean, not just have an ocean "view." This condo is perfect for that...the ocean is literally just outside! We have an expansive view up and down the coast, and have lovely sunsets. The condo is at the north end of Kihei, so it's quiet, and we have quick access to the highway to get to other towns. The beach is great for walking and not crowded, and the farmer's market across the street has some great goodies. The bed is comfortable, the linens are high-quality...all-in-all it's a great place to stay.
