This is an amazing property. We had a mix of friends and family stay with us with a wide age range of kids and everyone had a great time. Indoor pool is fantastic and saved a couple rainy days where the kids otherwise would have been stuck inside. One of our party was also my autistic little brother who doesn't do well in the sun but loves to swim and he spent hours every day in the pool. The views are beautiful. House layout for guest houses is a little bit of a maze but once you figure it out it isn't bad. I would definently recommend this property to friends and am highly likely to visit again.

Staying at this property exceeded our every expectation. It was perfect for our family. When we saw the indoor swimming pool our jaws dropped. We are already making plans to return to the most spectacular property we have stayed at in the forty years we have been vacationing at Lake Wallenpaupack. We had a wonderful time here. The house was plenty big enough for 10 adults and 6 children. The indoor pool was very nice. The deck and fire pit area were used every day and evening for smores! It was a plus for us having a gas grill that was big enough to cook for all of us. Having smaller children, we did not use the private dock. We took them to Promised Land State Park which has a very nice beach and picnic area that is free! Plus lots of hiking trails. It is about a 10 minute drive from the house.

Our family had a fabulous reunion at this property. It is set up perfectly for a large group with a bright, spacious gathering space in the main house and separate accommodations in the guest areas. The indoor pool was a huge hit for adults and children and the dock was a big plus for outdoor swimming. The guest accommodations were clean and functional with a nice living/dining space in each, as seen in the property photos. The bedroom/bathroom spaces in the guest units reminded me of a labyrinth, with narrow, winding hallways and stairways to lots of rooms and loft areas. There was spotty cell service in the area, but the property has a house phone for emergencies. The owner and property manager were responsive to questions and other communication. Overall, this is a wonderful property in a lovely area.

This is our second June vacation at Snug Harbor Cove! There were a total of 14, 9 adults and 5 children! Both weeks were fun filled! The weather wasn’t the best, but once again, the pool was clutch! The kids enjoyed it the most! They fished off the dock, went out in canoes and kayaks! The highlight was the pontoon we rented on Thursday! Our oldest grandchild was teary eyed when they left! She said she didn’t want to go home!! We enjoyed watching deer one evening by the fire, the kids were intrigued by them, saw the the very next morning while eating breakfast!! Beth is very easy to work with and addressed a couple concerns we had! She always gets back to you in a timely manner! Hats off to the owner and staff that helped us enjoy our time away from home! We had a wonderful time staying at this house. We were a group of 10 people, all ages. My kids had a phenomenal time in the pool. The views of the lake were breathtaking. We highly recommend this house.

Good times great family place

Rented this house a year ago in the summer and decided to do it in the fall bc of the indoor pool. The kids LOVED the pool and being able to run around the big backyard. A very unique and fun property that I’d recommend to anyone in any season.

This property was great for a few families with young children. The views of the lake were amazing and indoor pool saved us on a few of the rainy days.

Spacious enough to be together but have privacy especially with children. Geese dirtied up the yard but not to the point of being a nuisance. Sound system was a major plus. Very nice property that provided us with the accommodations that made for a memorable week.

This was our first time visiting Lake Wallenpaupack. The house was perfect for our large family. There was plenty of room for all of us to fit comfortably between the main house and the guest quarters. The large kitchen was well stocked with enough cooking necessities to make eating in easy.We really enjoyed the quiet cove with our own dock. We were able to dock our wave runners and even rent a pontoon boat from the nearby marina. The pool was a big.hit as we had a few afternoon storms. Everyone enjoyed the large deck. Beth, the property manager, was very helpful with a few questions that came up during our stay. I could go on but I’m just going to say that we all had a wonderful stay and are looking forward to going back next year .

4 families fit easily in the house, so many things to do without leaving the property. Indoor pool was great for the kids, deck is spacious with good amount of seating. Kitchens were clean, enough pots / pans. We kayaked easily from the gravel shoreline and dock. We caught a few bass from the dock as well. Beth, with Keller Williams, was great and very responsive to the couple questions I had. Would recommend this house for a large group or a few families looking to spend time together.

Overall, great house and location. The main house was perfect, the guest quarters were functional. The large kitchen was great, huge deck with plenty of room for outdoor dining. Game tables and indoor pool also a plus. The kids thoroughly enjoyed jumping off the dock and fishing. Only suggestion would be to have cleaning crew replace shower curtain liners, add a Keurig and also have toasters in the kitchens of the guest suites!

Far exceeded expectations. Indoor pool was great, especially with with Sound system controlled from app. The powered cover removed any safety concerns from the mothers. Basketball court and playground was a plenty surprise. Beth answered any questions within minutes. Electrical outlet was replaced promptly. The cove gave us some seclusion from lake boat traffic. Only suggestions would be to make sure cleaning people clean tables on deck and to have a Keurig coffee machine. But week was PERFECT.

Our large family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home! The house has great accommodations and the location on the lake was perfect. Our grandchildren made great use of the pool!!

Large home with plenty of space to fit a large family. I came with my extended family 14 total. 7 adults and 7 children and we all fit comfortably. The house is set up with three different living areas and the pool in the middle of them. There is essentially a house on either side of the pool with doors that connect through the pool area and outside as well. The one side of the house was obviously the original house, as it more dated, with two small kitchenettes and each having 2-3 small bedrooms some with queen beds and some with single/bunk beds. The other side is more open with large living room, large kitchen stocked with the basic utensils needed to cook, dining room area with extra chairs to fit large group and three bedrooms each with queen beds and one with 2 queen beds. The one bedroom doesn't offer as much privacy as it a balcony that is open to the living room area below. The amenities of the indoor pool, pool table, arcade game, horse shoe pit, small play set, outdoor seating and outdoor firepit, xbox 360 and some kid games were great! It was overall a nice location along lake wallenpaupack with easy dock access to bring your boat or kayaks. The property does have some deferred maintenance to be addressed but overall was a great stay for our family.

My group of 14 had a comfortable stay. Plenty of beds, multiple kitchens, really great for groups. And the indoor pool is neat. But the one thing I really noticed was the cleanliness. My group has been going up to Wallenpaupak yearly for quite a few years now, and this was the cleanest house we have stayed in. From the house down to the dock is maintained very well. I'm not afraid to admit I'm scared of spiders haha, and I didn't see not even a single web our entire stay, even by the dock.

We enjoyed the heated indoor pool room, and had a great time outside on the property. Beth was helpful, and the handyman was helpful, as well. He had to come out to help with a few things that we could not figure out in the home. Communication was great. House had everything we needed.

The house is nice, lake side with indoor pool and all, but during my stay the water for the house went out of service, I had to call right away but it’s a real estate agent redirecting my message to the owner then get the service guy here, the whole morning till the noon we didn’t have water, couldn’t wash, cook, or even make formula for the baby! The tech finally came and all he had to do is press the reset button, now the owner is blaming me by making me paid the emergency Christmas plumber fee, for using the water too much or too long?! What?! Never heard of that you can’t use water after you pay top dollars for a house like that; I confronted him that he as the owner is obligated to provide consistent utilities to his tenants, then he said we broke a so called “door” for a closet in the pool room which was flimsy and almost broken when I first opened it. Honestly till this point he’s coming up with any excuse to make his emergency fee back; he also mentioned that “he did not appreciate that we used the heat at 80 degrees”, if he didn’t mention this I didn’t even remember that the nest thermostats in the house get adjusted in the morning when I deleted all the schedules, ( I also have nest) so I suspect the owner is controlling it on the phone to turn it backdown to 72 degrees, house like that with baby it’s cold. Anyway he attitude was hard on not giving me the refund for the emergency fees, so I thought I should vent it here then! Hope this helps, FYI i spend more than 30k on Vacation short rentals on different platforms last year, by far this is the best house, Worst management! Ps I had to sign a bunch of paperwork before and after arrival, it’s like a year lease thing when I was only there 4 days , so the check in process gets a minus And the place was relatively clean but the grill was dirty, pots and pans are falling apart, bugs in the pool, dirty carpet but they did provide a vacuum for my wife to do their dirty work lol
