Nice place to stay. Beach in front of condo is rocky but there is a nice easily accessible one to the north.

The place was clean and is a great size for the 3 of us. Kitchen was well appointed. Issues to address: shower water hard to regulate the temperature but the water pressure is great. Had to push the reset button on the sink garbage disposal.
If you really need it quiet at night, the train will be too loud for you.

Great location. We enjoyed being right by the beach and having access to the pool and clubhouse. The condo could use some updating but was overall clean and we spent most of our time outside anyway. A little warm at night without AC, we stayed in July, but several big fans provided by condo made it not to bad.

Beautiful Property
Beautiful property with easy access to the beach and harbor. Plenty of room for our family. Loved having a kitchen for snacks and meals. Accommodations were ok, no AC, chairs provided for 1/2 of those staying, train was loud since windows were open due to no AC.

There is no air conditioning so it gets hot in the room. The dishwasher leaks so we couldn’t run it. The fans provided were old and gross and dusty. One was broken. The water in both showers changes from hot to cold during your entire shower. I would love to stay int the same location next trip, but a different condo.

Walking Distance to Food and Beach
Easy access to restaurants and beach and amenities were great at the complex. Our actual property was a bit dated and the tv access was a challange, but the complex was very nice. Upper level was a plus and there was plenty of towels and paper good.

Our family has stayed at this condo development 4 or 5 times. We really enjoyed it here. It's a 2-minute walk to the beach, and not far from lego land. It easily accommodated all of us. The pricing always is competitive and fits our budget.

BUT we had no complaints!! We had an issue with the dishwasher while there and someone was sent to repair it the very next day! Communication before, during, and after our stay was probably some of the best we've ever had from a North Coast rental company

Water pressure and temperature adjustment was awful. The wiring and flaps around the dishwasher were broken and harazdous, almost causing a cut to my finger. The soap dispenser in kitchen is also cracked which can cause injury. Only one couch in the main living room, which was not enough for people to sit on. The recliner near the fire place is so warm out that when you sit out in it's painful and feels very uncomfortable.

This is our second time in this complex at 2 different buildings. We love the location right at the beach. A nice walk to the harbor for coffee and surf watching. Also we love to visit the sea lions just north of the harbor. The property managers make checkin and out a breeze. The complex grounds make you feel like you are in a tropical place. The pool and hot tub are a nice option to the beach.
Our unit was fine (didnt mind at all that it was a bit outdated). It had everything we needed. I forgot to ask about boogie boards and beach toys so we actually bought some at the surf shop. Not sure if that was advertised as included in the rental unit.
We had a maintenance issue come up. With the ease of a text message it was resolved the same day.
We can’t wait to come back.

The complex amenities are perfect for the family, and the grounds are beautiful. This unit, however, doesn’t live up to that. The management was responsive , noting that the units are updated at the owners discretion, and that they were aware that changes were needed to this unit. Unfortunately, that didn’t help us for our stay. They were unable to place us in another unit, but did offer a 20% discount.
While we would stay in North Coast Village again, we would pass on this condo.

We love the location and many of the amenities of the North Coast Village. This particular unit had many things to like about it, the twin and king size beds were comfortable, the kitchen and the tvs all worked well. Overall we were happy with out stay.
Some things need to be updated however. The temperature in the showers is impossible to regulate. It would be scorching hot and then cold and then hot again. The pull out bed mattress is extremely old and in rough condition. It was very uncomfortable. The room came with boogie boards, but they were either broken or the really cheap kind that don't work well. We ended up using our friends who had better ones supplied with their room.
Although, those things were frustrating, we were still happy with the room and our stay.

The property needs ALL the furniture replaced except for maybe the beds. All the chairs and sofas are worn out and very uncomfortable, the coffee table is broken and just barely holding together.
If the furniture was replaced it would be a nice place to stay unless it's summer and hot, with no A/C it gets pretty warm.
