We’ve just had an amazing stay at this property as a group of eleven (two families) with children aging from 8-13. You will struggle to go wrong with this place - it’s awesome.
The kitchen is great, lounge comfy and dining space ample. The “hideaway” club facilities down the road are good too. Pool, slides, lazy river and drinks etc are nice. Gym good too.
Driveway big enough for two big vehicles, garage with a few games for kids, washer dryer. Wi-Fi was brilliant, smart TV in lounge and big fridge freezer with filtered water / ice. BBQ looked new and was great to use.
All rooms nice / beds comfy with a couple of big bathrooms and a number of smaller ones. Place felt spacious despite lots of kids and adults.
The pool is a nice size, could be a stretch if all 11 wanted to get in, but was fine for us. The ‘hot tub’ is the same water temp as the pool but with bubbles (still lovely but not a hot tub as I would know one in the UK).
Niggles for balance only:
- Lacks a clothes airer for those that can’t dry in a drier and wont dry outside due to humidity
- Pls update the main picture in the listing. The view from pool is now very different with lots of new properties and a bridge next to property (no issue - all lovely to look at)
- We reported an issue with the pool, good comms but took just over a day to sort meaning one lost pool day (not major)
- Strict one bin bag per day rule on managed site hard to stick to with 11 people.
Overall - you should BOOK this fab place.

Not a fan of the misleading cover photo. There are homes across the way and a bridge and walking path 5 from the pool. The cover photo as of July 2024 shows no homes or a bridge in the back yard. The view is drastically different and it’s not an accident. They need to update that photo and I’d give it a 5 star.
The home is great for groups needing 6 rooms. This isn’t a home for young kids as much as it is for families with older kids or groups of people. It would be great for a work trip. Over all it was great.

When looking for a place to stay for our family vacation we knew we needed a bigger place for all 10 of us. This house was perfect for all of us! Everyone had their own room and bed and with a full kitchen and living area we didn’t have to worry about anything. Pool was great and we all enjoyed our stay. The only thing we weren’t happy with is that there was no heat for the hot tub. We were so looking forward after a day at the parks to be able to relax in a hot tub. The other thing is we had a hard time finding a dumpster for our final out. With a family of 10 we did have more trash by the end of the stay and being able to only put one bag out was hard. We had to go hunt the area for a dumpster to throw our trash out. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much! The guys enjoyed being able to fish as well. When we get ready to book our next family trip to Orlando we will for sure use VRBO again!

Our stay was amazing. This home does not disappoint, it was hard to leave! Everything is as pictured. The residence is well kept, clean and stocked. We loved the family of ducks that stopped to visit every day.

Clean, large home walking distance to the clubhouse and pool. Pre-registration is a game changer.. no lining up with the crowds at 4pm to enter the subdivision. Management company is the friendliest annd most efficient we have encountered here, and we have rented many times.

House was very nice and easily accommodated 8 adults and 2 children. We were very happy to have the pool since it rained the entire time we were there but the kids didn't mind they were already getting wet. If you go in the winter months definitely have the pool heater turned on. I'm one day it made such a difference. Wish we could have used the other amenities but the weather didn't cooperate. Would definitely stay here again

Highly recommend this property. We had a couple of small maintenance issues that where resolved immediately. Location and complex fantastic. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

We enjoyed our stay, the location was good. However, the gates were never closed like other areas of story lake so definitely not a gated area.
The house had plenty of room, parking for 3 cars, all kitchen utensils. There was no propane on arrival, but was quickly resolved the next day.
The communication only being between certian hours isn't ideal. There was no check out instructions, for garbage, linens, etc. I was left to assume the cleaning fee covers this. We had a leak on our second last night, which was left for 18 hours, a safety hazard leaking water with electrical near by.
Over all our stay was good, but definitely feel theres room for improvement.

Nice house, lots of rooms & very roomy. The only thing i would change would be to put a ceiling fan in the living room. It gets warm with the blinds opened. Overall great place to stay!! Resort area nice!

This place was fantastic. Even the spa was hot. I wish it did have a little more privacy. The people next door were smokers and very loud and could even hear them in the upstairs master. This is beyond the rental companies control. Just worth mentioning. The only other thing we noticed was that the game room was not as shown. There is no air hockey table as pictured. The air in the Mikey Mouse room was not blowing. Every other room seemed to cool down at the set temp of 72 as noted you can not lower it past that point. My teenage boys did say they had a hard time sleeping all night. We did not notice this in the upstairs master or in any of the other rooms. These were very minor critiques and by no means drastically affected our experience and I still would highly recommend this property. The cleaning upon arrival was great and I didn’t not notice any issue. There was more things even offered then mentioned. Like soap for dishes and some extra bags. Thank you for making our stay a great one!

Loved the entire property; the house and pool/jaccuzzi, the lake, the hideaway club -everything! The house is so well stocked. A couple with a baby visited us and the play pen and stroller came in sooooo handy. The separate upstairs den was perfect for the teenagers. This is our second stay at Storey Lake and we will definitely be back again. Oh btw, the staff is very responsive and helpful too. Love, love, love this place.

We stayed here with extended family and it was absolutely wonderful. Easy location to get to any of the parks in Orlando, but also private enough for a quiet pool day. We were already planning our next vacation here before we left!!

This home was perfect for our stay! The home was very clean and well taken care of. We had a power outage that affected our air conditioning and they were there to fix it within the hour. We will absolutely be staying again!

Overall impressed with the house, check in process, and cleanliness. Basic cleaning materials provided that helped is get by until we were able to make a way to the store. We left the remaining toiletries, soap, and detergent! The screen above the pool had a hole in it which caused little bugs to get in but we were able to scoop them up with the provided net. Would definitely book here again!

Myself and two associates chose to rent this property instead of staying at an overflow hotel for a conference @ The Gaylord. We were not disappointed. The house gave us a great deal more room to relax and discuss business when we were not at the conference. The description is accurate and we thought the accommodations were very good. Would be an excellent place for a family or family with a couple of kid friends along to base at in the Orlando area.

Excellent Home - very close to Disney (15 minute drive). Very Clean. So nice to have private pool. Great resort area - we spent some time in the lazy river - so very relaxing.
Very comfortable bed in 2nd Master - one was more firm, one softer - for personal choice.
Lovely home and very spacious.
There are NO supplies in the home (supplied with one roll paper towels, 2 trash bags, and 1 roll TP in each bathroom). No dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, spices, even salt and pepper. We have used VRBO for > 25 yrs and usually get to use what is there and leave things for next guests. It is just a matter of courtesy and being kind to others. Anything left here just gets removed, so you have to purchase everything. Not bad - just FYI.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was spacious and very well maintained. The family loved the pool and the spacious kitchen. It’s location to the clubhouse and to Disney was very convenient. We would definitely reserve this home again.

Great stay
We had 9 people including 3 teenage girls in town for a volleyball tournament, this house was exactly as listed and more! We were so please with the size and layout of the house, plenty of room for everyone. There were a couple minor issues that were handled immediately by a very responsive management company. The location is fantastic, very easy to get everywhere in Orlando without having to get on HWY 4. The only problem we had the entire time was that the Wi-Fi in the house was very spotty, hardly ever worked downstairs. Other than that it was just what we expected!

Great experience
Plenty of room and appropriately decorated for having toddlers running around. Great having private pool right there! Very convenient to grocery, Target, restaurants, etc. Included watermark was great. Food and drink was expensive there but the park provided plenty of free entertainment for both kids and adults. Also easy access to airport, Disney and I-drive.

Wonderful home for a large group
The house was a perfect set up for our group of 13, kids and adults. The hot tub was tricky to get heated at first but the issue was figured out. The property is a really fun place to stay!

Concerns were addressed timely
Loved our stay. Had 3 concerns with no heat in hot tub, cockroaches (it’s Florida after all) but more than expected and they came to spray, and cable box went out. All 3 concerns were addressed.

Gated Community
Overall the house was very nice and roomy. However, maintenance on appliances should be checked on at least once a month. Can opener rusted and would not open cans, tea pot all rusted, dirty diaper and other trash in bottom of outside trash bin not in plastic bags and never cleaned out pool gate hooks not anchored in wall correctly and would not latch to close. Baseboards in bathroom full of dust. No extra blankets in bedroom on lower level had no comforter. No directions on how to use cable. Gates should be closed at all times to enter community and you should need a card to open the gate to enter. I never saw the gate to enter property closed. Would never stay in this community again.

Great for families
The property is a very nice house in a cookie-cutter community. Huge upstairs with many bedrooms, but the living area downstairs wasn’t too big, nor was the pool area. Overall it was very clean, except for a couple of things. One - the “filtered” water from fridge was cloudy. I’m not sure if the filter had ever been changed, so we had to go out and buy bottled water and a bag of ice because we did not want to drink it. I didn’t bother reporting it but someone should definitely change the filter! Also, the grill outside was left open with dirty grates. I had to submit pictures to the property manager on the first evening to let them know that it was like that when we checked in so we didn’t get charged the clean-up fee. If you’re a tree-hugger like me, you will be appalled to know that they don’t recycle there-seems as if the whole community just bypasses the option (I called the PM to confirm) and they don’t suggest any place to drop off recycling. There were a few other little nuances, like there was no explanation about any of the pool settings etc. If anyone is concerned about noise, I would recommend sleeping in the bedrooms facing the street and not the water, because we had some partiers across the way that were blasting music late into the night. The pool/lazy river/waterslide area was great. Overall, we’d stay there again!
