Breakfast had lots of choices and well stock. I Really like the fresh fruit salad and the freshly prepared eggs.
I didn’t like that our room didn’t have a second toilet. I shared a room with my daughter and her husband. They slept in the bedroom, I took the sofa bed. I had to go to the bathroom, they weren’t up yet so I had to go to the lobby to used the restroom.

Exceeded our expectations in every way, the staff were excellent and the room was huge. I could quite happily live in one of these suites! Everything is clean, tidy and the facilities are fantastic. Can't fault it at all!

All was good with the exception of being understaffed and the actitudes of Mitchell. Asked for an early check in and he gave me the dummest answer, that check out was until 11 and he could not tell me. Called at 11 and he kept me waiting for more than 25 minutes until the call got disconnected. Called and Called an no one answered. Arrived at the property an no one was at the front desk. Used the phone to page and kept ringing for more than 10 minutes. Finally Mitchell showed up and told me to wait 20 minutes. At the end I came back at 2:40 and got into my room

The hotel grounds including the swimming pool, garden, barbecue area, outdoor seating/patio were really nice. There was also plenty of food for breakfast. The space of the room was correct and the kitchenette had everything needed.
When we booked our stay through booking.com, we checked the box "pet friendly" as we were traveling with our small dog. None of the language of the booking.com page/receipt mentioned that we would have to pay a pet fee at the hotel. However, we were charged $75 for pet fee (for a $125 room). This was really unfair and we won't book anymore rooms at Staybridge Suites.

The pool, fitness center, and complimentary breakfast are great. The quality of the food itself could've been better. The patio out back was also very pretty. The room we stayed in had just about anything you could possibly need like soaps, cooking utensils, and even a hair dryer.
The reps up front were alright but were really quiet and seemed unsure of themselves. Including one of the managers. At one point we were drying clothes in one of the dryers and had a timer set on our phone so we didn't leave it in the dryer. When we went down to get it someone had taken our clothes out. We went to the front desk, and the person there said they would check the cameras with the manager. We ended up finding our clothes in a different dryer than what we were using, fortunately. I don't feel confident that they were going to find anything out or do anything about it had our clothes actually been taken though. I recommend checking the clothes about every 15 to 20 min just in case.

This hotel has to be the best value that I have ever stayed! There was free dinner that comes with alcohol (beer or wine). Free breakfast in the morning with such a huge variety. And free laundry (washing machine and dryer).
The manager spoke to us when we were visiting the lobby. And we felt so welcome! Kudos to the staff at Staybridge suites Houston East!

I cannot think of anything that I did not like except that it was difficult to get in the W/D room to wash clothes because of all the people and they left their clothes in the washers and the dryers.

Great hotel, checks all the boxes is clean, comfortable, convenient and pet friendly! We were passing through from a 11 hour road trip and that was exactly what we were looking for to recharge, we had a trailer and love that wasn’t any issue and had security patrolling the parking. Will definitely stay there again
