Good that room was easily accessible for us with our 2 dogs (on ground floor, easy rear access)

Lovely forest location. Great walking and cycling nearby. Very friendly (& anglophone obviously, it’s the Netherlands) staff. Great restaurant. Big room for the 4 of us.

Clean room, nicely decorated, with tea, coffee and a bath. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent.

Next to a driveway to the parking lot and next to the parking lot so up until midnight there was a lot of noise of people walking, laughing and cars leaving and arriving. So, we could not sleep until midnight.

Too pricey for level of comfort - very basic room equipment, outdated bathroom. Some renovation works have started in the very morning and it was really loud.

We liked everything! Super friendly staff, the restaurant food is really good, and the room was very comfy, big, with the most comfortable bed ever!

Breakfast was great (you can fry your own egg and bacon) and the restaurant as well. Simple cuisine but good. I could also pay 8.95eur for a lunch package which allowed me to take what I wanted from the breakfast buffet to take on my excursions during the day (+ water bottle and apple juice). Most of the staff was very pleasant and helpful. On my first day I asked for maps of the region and where I could rent a bike, and I received all the information and that really helped me have a good experience. The location is very nice in Vierhouten. There was a water boiler and tea and coffee available.

I came to this hotel to have good sleep and during the first 2 nights there was a lot of noise so I didn't sleep (customers going out to smoke during the night or using bathroom door, not sure, but often heard loud bang as doors were closing). I talked to one receptionist about it and she was very empathic and told me maybe something could be done but when I came back to the hotel that same day after going for a bike ride, the other receptionist didn't care about my problem and I really didn't feel supported. Also the room doors do not have automatic closing system (that make them close softly) and the doors are locked with regular keys with huge keychain that make a lot of noise, plus the walls are very thin so you hear the TV next door. So if you're a light sleeper and are looking for some rest, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
