The expansive deck and patio made relaxing with friends easy and comfortable. We fished off of the private dock, which was steps away from the deck and roasted s'mores over the firepit at night. I would stay here again for a beautiful weekend by the Hudson River.

This house is a lovely little house on a quiet street. It is very clean and has everything you should need for your stay. You just need to bring food and clothes! The river is very peaceful! It is an easy, 10-minute drive to the village of Lake George. There is a Tops market down the road. My daughter and I loved our stay and highly recommend this place!

I wrote a review the last time we stayed at this house. It's perfect for us. The size, location & amenities are everything we look for in a vacation home. The property manager, Diane Powers, is very attentive & a joy to work with.

We found this property to be a quiet peaceful place to spend a few days! View of the River was beautiful the dock and Kayaks were great . One word of caution for children swimming is the current at times is strong and could be dangerous for young children! The decks are large and great for spending the day and evenings outdoors! Interior of property was clean. And well furnished. Beds were comfortable ! The acorns bouncing off the roof was added ambiance!

We can’t speak enough about this property! The house, itself, was cozy and comfortable. Everything was clean and organized. It’s very conveniently located to grocery stores, laundromat, ice cream and a even a little farm-stand at the end of the street (with delicious fresh home-made pies nearly everyday)! The outdoor space truly amazed us…gorgeous deck, plenty of seating with breath-taking views! A few steps off the deck and we were at the water’s edge! We spent our days sun-bathing on the dock, swimming, floating on our rafts and kayaking. Diane has two kayaks on the property and we brought our two, so we were all able to enjoy the river. We would highly recommend an early morning kayak. So peaceful and beautiful! Diane was very helpful, too. She remembered (from a previous stay with her) that our family loves to kayak and she offered us some additional locations to enjoy with our family, as with some wonderful restaurant options, too. She’s very thoughtful and sincerely cares about her guests. Our stay was fun-filled, relaxing and very memorable! We’ll be back! Thank you, Diane!

The house and property were perfect with a huge deck off of the back of the house overlooking the Hudson. My kids fished off the dock and were able to walk right into the river and swim. There were 2 kayaks available for our use and we took full advantage. The neighborhood was quiet, we were able to take the week and just relax. This was a long overdue vacation and I think we picked the perfect spot! The dogs loved it too. Our host Diane was very responsive and helpful as well!

Diane was a very accommodating host, and the place was a great home base for Lake George activities. We had a great time.

We had a great time grilling on the deck and spending time by the water with all of the amenities included at the property! We loved taking the kayaks out early in the morning and floating down the river before the boats and jet skis were out and the dock allowed us to rope off our floats and enjoy the afternoon sun. This cabin was everything my friends and I needed to relax after all the stress of covid and working as nurses. Diane was AMAZING. She was very quick with responding to our messages. On our first morning, she even gave us information on local places to dine at. The location was absolutely breath taking. There weren’t any close by neighbors when we were there so it was very quiet-which was very enjoyable. My friends and I have all intentions of coming back to this wonderful location!

This was the third year staying at this wonderful location. I stayed 2 weeks, my family joined me for a long weekend but I spent the time alone resting and enjoying the peace and solitude of the woods and water. The last few nights were a little noisy into the early morning from people next door enjoying their vacation time. I'm sure. I will definitely be back next year!!!! Will be staying at another of Diane's property in October another peaceful retreat, my niece and I spend a "girls weekend every year

The property was clean and as advertised upon easy check in. I had good communication with the owner before and during the vacation, as needed. The home is right along an easy moving river, suitable for swimming and fishing for my children. There are a lot of fun things to do for families within 15 minutes of the home. We had a great time.

Over the week, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful house. We saw the pictures on the VRBO site but nothing prepared us for the views that were the house. The backyard leads straight to the lake and the views from the kitchen windows can't be beaten. We had the most wonderful and peaceful time. The house was extremely clean and cozy. Diane greeted us at the door and was very welcoming. She showed us around the house and stayed to make sure we were content before she left. Staying there for 2 days was definitely not enough. We would stay there forever if we could. We definitely recommend this house to everyone. Thank you for the amazing hospitality.
