Very quaint hotel. Super comfortable beds. The lounge on the 5th floor was such a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink Thé breakfast they offer their guests is absolutely amazing! Many home made items - all of which were delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Everything went well from beginning to the end.

We loved everything about this hotel! It is so convenient and close to everything, including the bus stations. Really great food nearby recommended to us by the hotel. The pool and restaurant have a lovely view. Best of all are the wonderful staff who made our stay so special. We especially enjoyed breakfast with the local dishes both savoury and sweet!

Poor ventilation in the room, noisy and cold air blows on the bed. Can hear airplanes taking off the Heraklion airport.

Very grand and we’ll appointed room. Very spacious and clean. Breakfast was incredible, Dtaff we’re very efficient and helpful.

Shower was over a small bathtub that you had to climb into. Road noise seemed to travel into the room.

People at front desk and breakfast room are friendly.

I was expecting a traditional interior, with Cretan spirit, yet it looks like any modern hotel, at any airport. Nothing local. It could just be at s as n’y place. Also, the rooms at the back are facing 2 nightclubs: on weekend nights, the music is very strong, the doors opening and closing all time, the traffic intense, so you just cannot sleep neither on Friday night nor on Saturday night. All in all, I was disappointed.

Breakfast with a wide variety of options; polite staff; exceptionally decorated hotel; spacious room; Some examples of the hotel staff's thoughtfulness: an extra TV set in the bathroom, a piece of linen placed under slippers every evening, and chocolates on the bedside table placed every evening, together with a goodnight message.

The GDM was exceptional! From the moment we entered the hotel till the end of our stay, they took really care of us. The suite was stunning and very cleaned. One of the best breakfast I have experienced so far. Special thank you to Nissia who found the perfect restaurant recommendations and always had the best advices. We will be definube back.

• Very spacious room • Very good location; short to moderate walking distance to almost everything you could want or need. • Phenomenal breakfast; they have an incredibly wide array of items. They obviously have Greek/Cretan items, but they also have typical western European items, if you're so inclined. They also have a HUGE dessert/sweets selection that takes up two tables. They also add a personal touch to beverages; the coffee & tea are made fresh and the staff will bring it to your table. The orange juice appears to be freshly squeezed, as it actually tastes like real oranges. • The restaurant is also amazing; I recommend starting your meal with the Cretan Pork Apaki Bruschetta • Free 1L bottled water replenished daily

• Wi-Fi works intermittently; it stops working for a few seconds before starting up again • Bathroom has no ventilation and unpleasant odor; there is a drain on the floor, and the odors from the pipe escape through the drain opening.

Everything was great.

Big rooms with soft sheets; free parking and close to bus stop; best breakfast; great security and soundproofing in rooms. Two blocks uphill to the archaeology museum and lots of great restaurants.

Reception is a little hard to find, and I carried my heavy bags up some stairs before I found it. Staff is wonderful. Driving in the historic district with narrow, windy one-way streets is a nightmare. Next time I’d skip the rental car entirely.
