Teveel geld voor een kleine, enigzins gedateerde, kamer

Bij incheck een zeer vriendelijke dame. We kregen een upgrade naar de grote kamer (weet dus niet hoe de standaard kamers zijn). Erg fijn AVEK boxspring bed. Nette kamer, schoon, badkamer met bad en douche apart. Alleen erg koud, badkamer geen verwarming aanwezig, begin januari in vriestijd, is dat net niet prettig. Ontbijt bij te boeken en te nuttigen bij de buren, ook prima geregeld en ruime keuze!

De vloer in de badkamer is zo koud (in januari) maar je kunt de badkamer niet verwarmen, das jammer.

Locatie aan het water. Op 100 meter van cocktailbar Walhalla en het strandje.. en boven Italiaans restaurant

Parkeren gratis op P6 gaat met ticket. Kenteken invoeren in app scheelt een stuk lopen in de regen.

Warm ontvangst, en warme kamer bij binnenkomst. Alles rook schoon en was ook schoon. Vriendelijk personeel ook in restaurant en terras. Ook verwarmd terras trouwens.

ontbijt was in ander hotel, dat viel tegen qua aanbod en prijs en onvriendelijk personeel daar Parkeren op zich goed geregeld maar toch wel stukje lopen..

The room was new and pleasant, location is excellent with water, old city and many restaurants nearby.

The only thing I liked was the comfortable beds, it’s a pity I was unable to sleep for the 5 nights booked due to the cleaner using excess chemical spray that made you feel sick on entering the room! Even with the windows open day and night, not having the room turned made very little difference. The room was cold because of having the windows open all the time, the noise outside was loud until around 4 am.

On arriving to the two rooms booked for our family the over powering odor was evident. We had planned dinner with other family members else where so we opened the windows in the hope this would resolve the problem for when we returned later the night. Unfortunately it did not and we were unable to sleep as the smell burnt our noses and throats. My husband complained to staff who said we could move to a lower floor room for one night only and they would “air the room” for the following night. The hotel insisted we move back to our original room as the one we were moved to was booked. On returning to the original room the smell was still evident, even in the sheets of the bed. We complained again to the hotel but to no avail so we made an official complaint to booking.com who communicated with the hotel. The hotel said they would deduct the breakfast from our bill! The breakfast takes place in another hotel, were cold meats, cheese, bread, petite croissants, fresh fruit and coffee is served. No option of hot food available for 12 euros per person. Our stay was completely spoilt by not being able to sleep from the smell and the noise outside the window until the early hours. On packing our belongs from the two last rooms on the top floor, checking to make sure we had everything, we checked under the beds. Our children found 3 empty bottles of Porto wine under their bed! Obviously not from us. I will let you make your own mind up on why they use such pungent ‘cleaning’ products. If anyone is unlucky to book this hotel check to see if the bottles have been removed! I don’t recommend this hotel or management.

Pleasant staff, lovely position, free parking.

We'd asked for 2 separate single beds, but were provided with two beds pushed together and a double undersheet and duvet. Eventually the bed separation was sorted but no single sheets or duvet provided. This felt a very unprofessional way to treat guests.
