Everything. The location is unique, a trip to Crete isn't complete without a trip to Terra Minoika and Kato Zakros, much the most relaxed and atmospheric of all places on the island

In general absolutely fabulous stay of 3 nights. The hosts/owners really give you a warm welcome, good tips for restaurants, walks, ready to help with any problem. The houses are really great (as on the pictures) and in walking distance (10 min) from the beach and restaurants.

Amazing property in design and decoration.

We stayed 4 nights early November to go hiking in the area. Kato Zakros is very small and quiet (at least this season), still at night with stars in the sky. The houses are small, cosy and functional, with beatiful views from terrace, both to the entrance of the gorge and to the sea. The houses are clad with natural stone blending into the landscape, and there is in general much care for aestetic detail by the owners. The aircon heating was fast and effective, so it felt warm and cosy. Breakfast was very good, and well arranged in these corona times, so we could go fetch what we needed in a basket and take it to our house. Our host was accessible whenever we needed her, very kind and helpful, providing us knowledgable suggestions and advice about hikes in the area, even arranged a transport for us to the upper entrance to the gorge. We felt very much at home there, thank you so much for your hospitality, Stella!

We only regretted we had not planned to stay one more night.

The place was beautiful. lot of seating areas outside to enjoy the views. very well done verandas and open space for each villa to enjoy a chat with friends. was a very good place to relax. Communication was very smooth. Breakfast was nice. not a lot of variety, but for us it was good with some desserts as well

The bedrooms in our villa were very small, and not all bedrooms had space for keeping your clothes/suitcases. We were staying for a longer time and this was quite inconvenient. The wifi was very patchy and had to use hotspot from phone to connect to work as few of us were working a couple of days

Everything. Perfect place for people looking to have a quiet and romantic holiday. Hosts were fantastic, friendly and very accomodating. The location of the place could not have been better - a perfect balance between beautiful views and walking distance to the beach. For views, try to book a room on the upper floor. You won't be disappointed with comfort on the ground floor either, but the ground floor appartments have very obstructed views. Can't wait to come back - one of the best accomodations I have ever stayed in.

For those who need internet for work, make sure you have a good mobile plan with your operator. Wifi is a no-go when all guests connect at the same time.

Great views, comfy beds, quiet nights. Rooms and surroundings designed to delight your eyes and satisfy functionality requirements. Excellent breakfast with delicious local products that we could enjoy on our veranda.

It is not just ordinary villas. It is a facility build with great taste and care with a wonderful surrounding and excellent quality on every level.

Exceptional hospitality, beautiful, freshly made breakfast, local tips and very friendly hosts. My wife particularly enjoyed the sculptures and how everything was made with love and imagination.
