The stay here was unacceptable for an all inclusive hotel. First of all our room had a bad smell and there were ants all over the floor and bed which is unacceptable for a 4* hotel or any hotel by all means. Second, bar staff was completely rude and terms and conditions of the all inclusive are not listed prior to booking. If I wanted to order a cocktail I would not be given a bottle of water as the rule is one drink per person which is ridiculous. Furthermore, if my friends (group of 3) were tanning and I would go up to the bar to order 3 cocktails they would be rude saying they will cut my bracelet off I cannot order 3 drinks as I am “taking away from another persons drink” which is completely unacceptable as this rule was not stated anywhere and I should be able to order 3 drinks for 3 people and bring it over to our longer/table. What is the point in paying for all inclusive if I “am stealing from another person”. Completely unacceptable behaviour from the bar staff, they grabbed my hand and said they will cut my bracelet off. What sort of customer service is that ? Also, most guests do not have all inclusive so they have the option to queue in the same line and pay for drinks. There was no separation between all inclusive and other guests, so you would often queue up for so long waiting for people to pay with cash and be stuck in long queues, although we have paid all inclusive. Lastly, a major incident where safety was at risk , and completely unacceptable for a holiday. We were attacked by the neighbour hotel with huge rocks that were thrown at us from the 5th floor, at kids, at the table I was sat on with my friends. A massive rock hit our table, and what safety is this ? This incident occurred during the entertainment with a live DJ, and everyone panicked. Due to this incident we were unable to relax by the pool the following day as we were concerned for our safety and we were concerned rocks would hit our heads while we were swimming or tanning.

The hotel features a huge lobby reminiscent of the grand hotels of previous decades. Location is great right on the boardwalk and minutes to the beach with a wonderful array of stores and restaurants. Staff was very helpful. The room on the top floor was spacious and bright with large sliding doors and a beautiful terrace overlooking the surrounding area.

I send a message to the hotel asking a question about the parking and did not get a response.

Good location, nice view to the ocean from the terrace, big and comfortable bed. We had breakfast in the booking but we had to leave early in the morning and they offered us to prepare some for taking away not to lose the breakfast.

There was a misunderstanding regarding the breakfast to take away for the last day as they didn't say that we should ask for it 1 day before leaving so we couldn't take advantage of it.

The staff is very friendly, animators and bartenders are doing their job good! The food was great! A lot of options, and every meal course was different Super clean rooms, bathrooms,public toilets, and the cleaning ladies were working hard! The towels have been changed daily. Location is a plus! We have several walks in Santa Susanna and Malgrat and this hotel was in the top 2 in terms of location and building-attractiveness

We didn't have any shampoos, bath gels, body lotions in our room Staff can put more music options and pay for Spotify premium because we had ads every X amount of time We were making an upgrade for All Inclusive system and you have to pay a deposit of 10 euros for each of the bracelets which the hotel suppose to give back when you are checking out. As well as, we have paid additionally for the late check-out ( at 3pm). But no one have informed us that in order to get back your deposit per bracelet, we have to give them back at 11am of the day of check-out.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and I am disappointed to say that since Alegria took it over the standards of cleanliness have dropped drastically. My room floor was not washed the whole time I was there and the floor around the toilet was not acceptable. The Grand Saal on the ground floor that used to have standout shiny floors but now is no longer the case. The glass in the front of the building is the standout feature of the design of the hotel. It has always been clean and taken care of. Not anymore which is a real shame. I got the impression that the hotel is short staffed. Why is that? Decisions like that ALWAYS have consequences!

This was our fourth stay at the hotel and the second this summer. If coming from Barcelona airport, Santa Susanna is a pleasant 2-hour train ride away. Once outside Barcelona the train hugs the coast with views over the sea pretty much all the way so sit by a window, on the right-hand side facing the direction of travel. At EUR 5.50 single, it's a bargain. The hotel is situated directly opposite the railway station and a few minutes' walk from the beach. Lidl is a 10-minutes walk away and Carrefour and the old town are each about a 13-minute walk away. The hotel is well maintained and spotlessly clean throughout. The staff are helpful and professional. There is a nice pool with plenty of loungers. The buffet breakfast is good and plentiful. The half-board supplement is excellent value for money.
