the location and rootsy feel nearby the sea.
Where do we start? Gnats and cockroaches were in the room. We were given just one bath towel each for three days stay and told that most guests don't use towels. No one cleaned the rooms or even changed the sheets despite the sweltering heat. Ceiling fans were useless against the fierce heat and there is no air conditioning. The man in charge argued with everything we said and was not interested in our complaints or advice. Worse still, a pack of five vicious stray dogs prevented one of us from entering the property. A taxi driver had to chase them away. The next day, the same pack of dogs attacked a child who ran into the sea to avoid being hurt. it was awful seeing from our balcony the screaming child rush into the sea to escape the dogs!

Fantastic house fully with the vibe of the region -beautiful, quiet and timeless. We had the room with the sea view and had wonderful mornings to be awaken by birds and sea waves. At evenings you can do star gazing or enjoy the tropical heavy rain with a drink at hand - both are spectacular
Marco was very helpful host and recommended great places to feel Treasure beach.
Don’t forget to buy some beers, wine etc.
The room itself is basic in terms of facilities. The day we arrived I had concerns about the lack of airco, as it was hot inside. But we slept great refreshed by the breeze at night and listening the waves. It was challenge to manage the shower mix of water.

Beautiful, clean room with big open patio. Sea view was incredible. Guest house access to beach had very shallow water which was great for a toddler. Marco was very sweet and helpful.

Tucked away and amazing sea and sunset views. Fridge in the room to keep beers cold. Breakfast and meals we had at Jakes nearby. Peggy, the host was very welcoming and friendly.
An element of dog barking. Maybe a better selection of pillows for comfort.

Great location. Beautiful views of the sea, sunrise and sunset. Marco was a diamond helping me ward of the mosquito’s 🤣
The room was clean and had all the facilities we required. Loved the hammocks in the shady area, outdoor shower and private beach access.
We will definitely return next year.

Perfect location to unplug from the stress of day to day life. Staff was amazing!!! Falling to sleep and waking up each morning to the rhythm of the waves lapping on the beach was extremely tranquil and relaxing.
If you don’t have a car, be prepared to walk a lot or hire a driver/taxi. However, the walk into Treasure Beach is definitely worth it compared to staying closer to town as most of the places in town are both more expensive and loud at night, whereas KuDehya was quiet and peaceful.

If I have to mention something it would that the shower wasn’t perfect. Not much warm water and lacking pressure. But who needs a perfect hot shower while you just want to cool down?!?

we had such a wonderful time with the Kudehya crew (and dogs). amazing vibes, inspiring conversations, great nature and much more. all you need for a relaxing, jamaican experience. it was such a pleasure! :)

It's a nice property with nice facilities that they've hand-built.
The micromanagement and the fact that the beach isn't really swimmable here. Nice beaches of Treasure Beach are at least a 20 min walk from here. Wifi was practically non existent in the room. You had to go outside to get it.

Great option for budget- and family-friendly accommodations in Jamaica, in a town off the heavily-beaten path that has a lot to offer. The best part of KuDehya was the host, who made us feel at home, went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We had a great stay!

Wow. Where do we start. The hospitality shown by Iyahras and Sharon was exceptional. Due to the 'No movement days' and our arrival time, we were unable to get any food. Iyahras, cooked us a wonderful 'Ital' dish.
Our room faced the beach and garden, which had its own private deck. We sat and ate there throughout our stay.
The view from the roof terrace was beautiful, especially at night where you get a clear view of the sky.
We will definitely be coming back to stay.

Very charming beachfront property. Our room came with a balcony that gives you a beautiful panoramic view of Treasure Beach. Property was also clean and well maintained. Iyahras and his pet cohosts ‘Big Boy’, ‘Sainty’, and ‘Brown Gal’ were exceptional hosts. The dogs are very friendly and will accompany you on the beach. The beach extends about a mile in either direction and has many spots/pools to swim and enjoy. Everything in town is conveniently nearby and it is encouraged that you explore and support the local community. You can rely on Iyaras for directions or advice if needs be. We had a peaceful stay and would definitely return. Also blessed us with a nice care package at the end of our trip!

Very peaceful and quiet with a lot of love in the air; gentle Rastafarian music playing or live drumming and singing on the the weekend. The waves are braking out front. The food is African and Jamaican Rastafarian vegan food with a highly medicinal twist. It's up a short dead end gravel street right on the Caribbean. Every thing in Treasure Beach is in walking distance.
There was only good here. If you are looking for parties and and fancy shops this whole scene may be boring. If you are looking for love, healing, and stimulating conversations then you have found the right place.

Beautiful surroundings- you can hear the rolling sea right next to us whilst still enjoying the tranquil gardens. Excellent host. Navigated us from an hour away when we got lost. Made us a delicious Ital breakfast, no salt and sugar if that’s your thing. This place is a great Oasis for those that want to rejuvenate and rest.
