We wanted an ocean view and loved hearing the waves and watching the surfers. We also saw dolphins frolicking in the sea. The sunsets were spectacular! The bungalow was comfy & location very quiet. The on-site manager and owner very personable, friendly & responsive. We had a lovely time.

We rented both sides of the property, so had lots of privacy and space. Could also work easily with other folks next door...like a very, very small hotel : ) Fabulous ocean views, beautiful pool and hot tub, plenty of indoor & outdoor seating.

We rented both units on the property so keep that in mind when reading this review - the outdoor area was fantastic! Plenty of room and the view never got old. Pool was perfect. The beds were comfortable and great for 2 couples or 2 adults, one teen. Kitchenette was just that - microwave, toaster and small fridge - don't expect to do any cooking. We had the other unit so this was not an issue. Kim was a super host and very responsive. On-site manager also checked in with us a few times to make sure our stay was going well. Would definitely stay here again.

It was exactly what we expected! Kim is an amazing communicator and the process of booking to our checking out was simple. The house could use some upgrades for sure, but the overall stay was wonderful.

The view is amazing and the location is great. Love the outdoor deck setting with the pool and hot tub. Be aware that it is a shared area with another unit. Inside could use a good clean and not much of a kitchen. Mini fridge and no stove.

We rented the unit for our elderly parents to stay for their Granddaughter’s wedding in the area. The property was amazing & my parents enjoyed every minute!!!

Nice quiet neighborhood. The pool deck is what this place is all about. It is amazing. You can sit or lounge in sun or shade, swim or enjoy the spa. Cook dinner and of course just enjoy the view. The sunset view each night was awesome. If you just want to get away and relax, this is the place!

Fabulous location with an amazing deck/views. Enjoyed coffee every morning watching the waves and surfers. Staircase down to a fabulous walking path. The unit is basic (mini fridge, hot plate, toaster oven) so keep that in mind if you plan on cooking. Not that you need to...lots of great restaurants nearby. Kim was great to deal with. Very responsive and very quick to respond. Can't beat the views.

The view, location and pool were beyond my expectations. The trail along the beach was incredibly beautiful. It was a perfect place for a short getaway. I wish I could have stayed longer than the three days we booked. Kim was very helpful and quick to respond when I had questions. I can’t wait to plan my next trip back!

Cute bungalow with a beautiful but shared pool deck. We got lucky - the other unit also had a girlfriend weekend group and we all had a great time chilling on the deck.

This adorable oceanfront bungalow was the perfect size for my husband and I and filled with all the conveniences of home. We loved the oceanfront view and relaxing by the pool. The shared deck was not a problem at all and we enjoyed meeting the guests in the adjoining cottage during our stay. We have stayed in many rentals in San Clemente over the past 15 summers and this one we will be definitely be returning to.

This was a PERFECT place... The HotTub and the pool while overlooking the ocean could not be better. It has a grill and that was all we needed to have a nice dinner, drink a couple beers to relax. The owner was available and gave amazing check in instructions and there was also an onsite manager!!! Location was amazing with you being steps to the ocean and just a few minutes from some amazing places to eat!!! We are usually a Dana Point or Laguna family but enjoyed the relaxing speed of San Clemente. I hate giving glowing reviews as I am fearful that it will encourage the whole VRBO family to stay here, but this place is simple and wonderful and amazing all at the same time, but please do not tell the world !!!!Smile!!!

Everything was Great... view and short distance to the beach walking trail to the pier. There were toys for kids and books to read for adults. Shed with beach stuff bookie boards sand toys ready to go. Plenty of towels, clean, and comfortable. My family had a good time.

Wonderful stay at this resort like location. My only problem was we had to call Kim to turn on the hot tub jets, but she was quick to do so with no hassle. She said she was going to fix this in the near future. Other than that we loved the view and pool area and had a blast! Bill

We enjoyed our visit to San Clemente. The cottage and pool worked great for my family. The cottage is not fancy but comfortable and everything worked. My kids loved the hot tub and pool. The view and access are amazing. Communication with the owner was easy and check in simple. I couldn't find much information on the town before the trip but we loved San Clemente. Kids were talking about the next time.

A guest should respect others, but no smoking no cleaning up after yourself? Use the BBQ then clean the 4 utensils used. Put away your trash like it states. Kim is a great, caring host but our last day there the hot tub did not come on at Noon like I paid for and some pans and dishes were not clean enough to use without washing first. Also, sink is too small in kitchenette to do a good washup of those items. Fan/lite in L.R. Has a light out so poor lighting by sink. Private deck was amazing when 2nd rental not occupied

Had a great time at this beautiful spot. The view was spectacular and loved the jacuzzi. Couldn’t haBe been better!

I couldn't have been happier with my time here. The neighborhood was very peaceful and the accommodations very comfortable. There was an issue with the spa, however, this property still deserves 5 stars. The manager did everything possible to address the issue as quickly as possible. You won't find a better location in San Clemenete for the view and for the price.

We lived this rental. The bungalow was immaculate, the pool was amazing, and the views were breathtaking. We look forward to many more stays here. Thank you so much for your hospitality.
