Nice apartment, clean and good location. It's a shame about the strong humid smell and the mold in the bedroom (windows and corners) because the apartment is nice.

Very humid, there was mold around the windows, in the corners of the bedroom and in the corners of the living room and a very strong smell. We had to leave after one night, even the pillow cases were damp. After contacting the host privately, we were told he would get back to us. He never did. We contacted booking.com customer service, but still had to pay for the entire stay and were told to leave a review. Nothing further. I was afraid this would be an issue in other apartments and was due to the climate, but once we moved we realized this must be unique to this apartment.

A good place to stay in El Hierro. Located in Valverde, plenty of free parking around and a bakery nearby where you can buy fresh bread and biscuits every morning.

The interiors are tastefully arranged, they are cosy, the size of the apartment is perfect for a couple, family or friends.

I tried to contact the owners by email before my arrival but no-one answered. I managed to contact them by whatsapp, eventually. There were no wine glasses even though the kitchen was equipped with everything necessary, including vodka shot glasses:) I think wine is definitely more popular in Spain than vodka so wine glasses would be more handy:) The main bedroom windows overlook the main street, so it is a bit noisy early in the morning.

The apartment is very spacious & well stocked. It is very homely & comfortable. It had everything you would need. The terrace was lovely too. This place is a credit to the owners.

Unfortunately due to the location on the main road there is a lot of traffic noise. Also from around 7am the people underneath were noisy too.

The apartment was spotless with a large patio, very comfortable, a short walk to the centre of Valverde, uphill on the way back.

self check in using a key box, the owner didn't advise this and I had to call for a code. it was dark and not easy

Got a little lost as googllemaps took us further down the street, just hung around for 5 mins and the host appeared so all good
