Location for Skiathos town couldn’t be better..at the top of the Main Street. A lovely garden apartment with 1 bedroom and sofa bed in the lounge suited our family of 3 adults. Plenty of on street parking for our hire car. Owners lived in the apartment next door and they were lovely hosts. We had a friendly greeting on our evening arrival, and they were always on hand if we needed anything; without being obtrusive. Facilities were basic, but suited our needs. We ate out in the many lovely tavernas and restaurants around the little bustling town.

New shower curtain would be nice.

Location is good and everything is clean.

Bad WiFi, we had parking problems.

We arrived there a little later than expected but the owner waited for us and gave us the keys. There was bottled water and a bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge. That was very nice. as it had been a long and hot day. You can wait for the bus to come to the airport but it comes intermittently and doesn't really follow the schedule (for this particular bus stop) so maybe it's better to take a taxi or have someone from your accommodation pick you up. We really liked the apartment we stayed in, it felt very homey, there was a lot of privacy and the place is pretty quiet. You can cook in the kitchen, as it has everything you might need, kitchenware, cutlery etc. We enjoyed our breakfast at home, sometimes eating on the balcony, looking over the city and in the evenings would eat out since the main shopping/restaurant area in Skiathos town is 5 mins away (on foot). Papadiamanti street is the main place to start your visit, just cross the street and you are there. You can find shops, bakeries, ice cream shops, restaurants, pharmacies, and if you follow the street you can get all the way down to the port area for a nice walk. The accommodation is also really close to bus top number 4. If you don't want to rent a car or scooter, there are different buses which come regularly and take you all the way to Koukounaries beach. It's a very easy and cheap option to get around the island. There is a small family shop located next to the Filidas Apartments, we bought some of our groceries there, I would recommend you try their cheese (made by them) and the olives. There is also a supermarket around the corner (next to the bus stop) where you can get more variety if you need it. Megali Ammos beach is only a short walk away. The owners were kind and answered all of our questions and helped us out when we needed directions, they ordered a taxi for us when we left and during our stay they surprised us with watermelon and home made cheese pie.

The wifi connection was pretty bad. So if you plan on working during your stay, you might need to go somewhere else where there is better internet, like a restaurant. Also when the other apartments were unoccupied the internet was better, it was pretty unreliable. For us, I think it was a blessing in disguise since it forced us to spend less time on our phones :)

Flat was bigger than we thougtht, we thought that it was one room that all 4 of us should stay in but it was a seperat bedroom and a open plan kitchen/livingroom so really it was 2 rooms. It was fully equipped and had every you could ask for, even a coffe maker. Nice and very clean, very friendly couple. Only about 5 mins walk to town. Max 10 mins walk to nearest beach

We only stayed one night but the only down side would be the surroundings, no nice view.

A wonderful little apartment with washer and kitchen. Two balconies, a large bed and two sofa beds as needed. The family running filidas apartment is very nice and helpful.

Nothing

Spatious 2 rooms apartment very close to the heart of Skiathos town. The location is excellent, being 5 walking minutes away from the town beach and 3 walking minutes away from the main shopping street that goes to the port. It is very close to car rental offices. The facility is very quiet and it has everything you need when you travel with children: washing machine, kitchen with many apliances, air conditioning etc. You also have 2 large balconies where you can have a drink after a beach day and enjoy a nice view of the whole Skiathos town. The hosts are extremely nice and helpful.

We really liked the balcony which had plenty of room to rest and chill while we were enjoying the nice view.

There is not private space for parking our car as it supposed to be. There is space for parking near the property which is an uphill road with limited space, especially early in the morning or late at night. Someone with a big car, might have problem!

For family with car it was very important to have a parking place!!! Staff was very polite and helpful. Apartment was grate too. Close to main walking street and markets. My recommendation to all.
