It was a perfect place for a 3 day ski-trip. The staff was incredibly nice, helpful and flexible. The rooms were really clean and well equipped (towels etc.). We could use the guest kitchen anytime which had all the basic kitchen stuff we needed. We also ordered breakfast which was totally worth it. Totally recomended for group of friends or families! +The view was awesome!!

It is perfectly situated - 10 minutes from Schladming slopes, old fashioned building but with all basic things, belvedere place with amazing views, easy car access .Do not hesitate to book if you come for skiing or hiking in summer!

We had an amazing stay at Mountain Hostel! The rooms were great and we especially loved having the balcony with the gorgeous view! :) In addition to the comfy beds, we really enjoyed the nice, hot showers and excellent Wi-Fi. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing! We would definitely stay here again! :)

Surrounded by mountain peaks, the hostel offers stunning views. Parking is comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable - soft towels, warm temperature, comfy bed. Breakfast was well worth its price. I loved the calm environment and a short walk in the nearby forest. A dragon is waiting for little visitors there, just a few meters from the hostel! I would love to come back with my family and enjoy the place in summer as well.

Great for that price. I did not expect that. Nice Staff. Amazing view from the balcony. Very good breakfast. Possible to have coffee and tea anytime. A lot of parking space. Training Klettersteig in the vicinity. Summer Card served us great, free entry to Dachstein Gondola - reservation needed. Quiet place.

Would be great to have some snack options during the day or in the evening. Restaurants nearby were closed already.

The stuff was really kind and the breakfast was perfect.

The interior is a bit outdated, but it is clear from the pictures, so it is not a surprise.

A little pricey but fair considering the rates around.

The hostel is located in the perfect mountain setting. Frontview towards Schlamdming, backview to the stunning Dachstein massiv. Right in front to the hotel the kids adventure trail starts. Spacious rooms, though a bit worn out in some places. Very helpful staff and not to forget the valuable Dachstein Card is included in the stay. The kids loved the trampolin with a view.
