We rented 2 houses for 10 people, but they were not close to each other. The owner very kindly noticed our problem and offered us two smaller houses instead of one bigger, so we were then close enough.

kitchen was well equipped. Has more than one bathroom. great location. Stoney building. towel rack heater. breakfast provided including coffee.

Very nice facility, however, could have been excellent, if bed mattress were upgraded nice location perfect for family or group get away, outdoor BBQ area was great! With one exception, appeared it was clean for sometime

Location is great in one of the the most interesting Fajas of the island, with a wonderful view (depending on the weather) on Pico which the site and Booking don’t do justice to. The owner (or at least the person who gave us the keys), Senior Antonio, is also very nice and flexible, always looking for ways to help. Inside the house, the kitchen equipment is basic but complete. There also is a terrace which is very nice and pleasant to stay on.

The house makes me think of a mountain refuge - lots of bed, optimized place and no living room - which is fine in itself if you want to spend your full days on trails, but doesn’t correspond to the description. Besides, the bedding I’d extremely poor, with camp beds everywhere, making the nights not as relaxing as they should be. Overall therefore a bit over-priced in my view.

The host, Sr. António was so lovely with us, always available for anything we needed and very kind. He brought us fresh bread early every day in the morning, and filled the fridge with lots of goods but make our stay even more comfortable. He also offered to help us when we had a minor problem with a phone. On our last day, he also brought us figs, and a characteristic fruit from the Azores for us to try! Overall, we just really had the best experience! The house was also amazing, very comfortable and cozy! We all loved it and he hope one day we can get back to meet Sr. António again.
