No breakfast available. Ideal situation for Minster visit
Only problem was that the bathroom light came on twice, with nobody in there

Breakfast was not included with this accommodation. This was not a problem as there are several local cafes in walking distance. These included the Little Brunette Bakery and the Minster cafe (which is also open on a Sunday morning), but there are others which are good too. The location was good, a short walk down some of the more historical streets into the town centre. There was a USB socket in the bedside light. The accommodation was quiet with no rowdy people in the pub. We stayed over as we had been to one of the Candelight concerts in the Minster.
Its not a luxury hotel but has everything you need if you just want somewhere to stay for the night

The location, the privacy, the pub itself and the closeness-to Southwell Minster for The Beatles by Candlelight Concert- very nice facilities, easy to book and quiet- en-suite was very nice too

Very clean and close to the minster where we were attending a concert.
The shower head was not usable as a shower as it just flopped down, had to wedge it sideways to stand under it.

Shower facilities mouldy and did not use.kettle screwed to wood and lack of spare pillows.
Doubt the rooms meet most health and safety standards.

I always enjoy staying here as a base for the Ceramics in Southwell event and local attractions. Beds are so comfortable. Staff are lovely.
Personally I tend to choose places to stay because they have a bath, but I knew there were none in the property when I booked.

Excellent location for getting into the heart of town and the Minstr (where I was singing). Very pretty beer garden.Plenty of tea etc. Nice hot shower

A little more decoration or character could be nice. We had expected a room at the traditional inn, but booked too late for that so got the air b+b style room next door which was perfectly ok! We were just glad to get any room!

It was a nice room in an old pub. The room is compact but has everything I needed. The bed was comfy. The bathroom looks like it has recently been refurbished and is very clean. The location is ideal for the centre of Southwell

The room was lovely and clean. It was nicely equipped.
Although I know it is a pub, on one of the nights two men sat in the beer garden speaking very loudly until 2:30-3am. I did not get much sleep that evening as my room faced the beer garden. I know it is a pub, but I was not expecting things to still be going on at that time in the morning.

The room was spacious and comfortable. It was quite basic but perfectly acceptable. The setting was very quiet and private. The ensuite facilities were clean. There was a separate kitchen area and microwave which was useful. I received a friendly welcome. On my departure, I was asked how my stay had been and was wished a safe journey.
I was happy with my stay. The room was basic but spacious. It took a little while to get hot water.

Shower room could be better, Lighting poor, sink small and the plug didn't hold the water, also no shelf for toiletries.
