The location was great and only a 5 minute walk to the lake. The room was pretty big and I had everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable and it was also very quiet. I will definitely be back.

We were delighted with this place! The breakfast is excellent, a buffet with a wide selection of food. Anyone who loves breakfast will find something for themselves. They even prepare eggs on the spot however you like. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The room was warm and clean. Parking is right across from the guesthouse.

Proprietari gentilissimi, camera comodissima, pulizia impeccabile e colazione fantastica. Ottima anche la posizione a poche decine di metri dal lago e pochi minuti a piedi dal centro del paese.

This autumn, I enjoyed a photo tour around Slovenia. This place was by far our favorite accommodation. The owners know very well how important the personal experience is. They are kind, warm, relaxed and helpful. The breakfast is divine, the rooms are wide, clean, and quiet.

Tutto! Uno dei posti più belli in cui abbia mai soggiornato. Atmosfera magica, camera fantastica, bagno immenso, pulizia impeccabile. Mamma e figlia sono gentilissime, accoglienti e disponibili. La colazione è meravigliosa sia per il servizio che per la qualità e varietà. La posizione a pochi passi dal lago e con un parcheggio privato comodissimo. Se volete vivere una favola soggiornate qui!

Een geweldig verblijf voor een scherpe prijs! Direct gelegen aan het meer van Bled ben je in slechts een paar minuten lopen in het centrum. Daarnaast super vriendelijk personeel die graag met je meedenken bijvoorbeeld wanneer je vroeg de deur uit bent in de vorm van een lunchpakketje. De kamer was verder ook top met een fijn bed en alle basisbehoeften voorzien. Dikke aanrader.

One of the best properties I’ve ever stayed. Kind reception staff, wonderful breakfast, perfect location, and clean room. It makes me feel so welcomed.

Gepflegte Pension in hervorragender Lage, mit netter Gartenanlage und kostenlosen Parkplätzen. Aufmerksame und freundliche Inhaber und Mitarbeiter, liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück. Zimmer sind rustikal eingerichtet und haben alles, was man braucht inkl. bequemer Betten.

WiFi war sehr unzuverlässig.

La Penzion Mayer es un alojamiento espectacular, te hacen sentir como en tu casa. La abuela, la nieta y la chef Lina, son un amor de personas, muy agradables, atentas, encantadoras. Las habitaciones son muy amplias, con todas las comodidades, igualmente los baños. Aparte tienen unas terrazas para sentarse a contemplar el paisaje, así como el jardín de la Penzion. Los desayunos de Lina, son de otro planeta, tipo buffet, con cereales, frutas, quesos, embutidos, huevos al gusto del huésped, panqueques, café, té, jugos, salchichas, y un montón de cosas más que no logro recordar. De verdad que me pareció barato, por el tipo de alojamiento, el trato, la atención y el desayuno Tanto Bled como la Penzion son tan fascinantes, que sin ninguna duda volvería.

Breakfast was included in the room rate and it was incredible. There were fresh croissants, freshly made smoothies, eggs cooked to order. A cheese and meat plate were made up individually if you wanted. The best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel.

Einfach ein Traum. Preis-Leistung ist der Hammer. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich (Familienbetrieb). Das Frühstück ist gesund d.h. zusätzlich zu den Klassikern gibt es viel frisches Obst und verschiedene Samen und Trockenfrüchte fürs Müsli. Die Zimmer sind vom Einrichtungsstil her altmodisch, jedoch nicht alt. Alles riecht frisch und nicht muffig, des weiteren war ich noch nie in einer Pension die so sauber ist!

Es gibt nichts, alles war perfekt.

Everything about this place is amazing. -Located only 5min walk from the lake. -Staff is very nice -Breakfast its delicious with plenty of options with a mix of home made things & fresh fruits, juices, etc. The girl that serves and prepares the eggs is the sweetest. -the facilities are immaculate clean and everything smells so, so good. -the rooms are comfortable and perfectly clean & equipped. -this is a family run business and you can see how much effort they put to make the penzion one of the best accommodation in Bled.

Beautiful little chalet with a kitchen, private bath and sitting area. It was perfect for the first few days of our stay. The family and staff that run it were very friendly and helpful. The location was great and quiet and the breakfasts were amazing. I highly recommend!

A minor inconvenience in getting charged twice by booking.com but otherwise no issues.

Penzion Mayer is a fabulous place to stay in Bled. Our room was spacious,bright and comfortable, with a pleasant outlook over the garden. The buffet breakfast was fresh and delicious with homemade selections as well as eggs cooked to order by friendly staff. This family owned and run Penzion is of exceptional standard and value for money. The traditional Slovenian building set in a beautifully arranged and maintained garden was a welcoming sight to return home to each day of our stay.

Super clean and friendly. In a great location near centre but away from roads and noise. 5 mins to lake and summer toboggan ( which was brilliant). Amazing breakfast and gave us packed meal instead of breakfast when we had to get early train. Icing on the cake were the free bikes- basic but good condition and with helmets, we were able to cycle round lake very easily, great for sightseeing. We decided to cycle round lake and look at the church on the Island rather than get boat over to it and walk up the 99 steps to ring the bell. Easy to get to/ from Lesce-Bled train station by taxi ( it’s too far to walk) we shared Bled shuttle bus on arrival and it cost 5 Euros each, taxi for 2 of us at 0715 to station was 15 Euros. Lake Bked is a tourist hot spot and not the quiet rural idyll we expected, quite built up but well worth visiting and Penzion Mayer was excellent place to stay. Our room -108-was lovely with great view over to mountain and woods. Recommend eating at The Old Cellar Restaurant, a short walk down back road.

We had a king size bed, but it consisted of 2 mattresses, which was a bit uncomfortable.

Such a pleasant place to stay right near the heart of Lake Bled. I wish I could've stayed longer!
