We absolutely loved our stay, the location was perfectly close to everything we wanted to see but so quiet and peaceful, it felt like being at an exclusive spa while we were staying. We were traveling as a family of three with our four year old and he loved having his own space with the day bed in the living room and we enjoyed having our own space to enjoy inside or outside once he was asleep. Can’t recommend this spot enough and would go back anytime we’re in the area!

The forest retreat was minutes walk to the shops and restaurants in Ucluelet, and to Little Beach. We loved the hot tub and sauna, plus the decks were all well furnished and landscaped. The welcome basket and treats for our dog were appreciated!

On the positive side, the property is clean and very quiet, and the hot tub is great. As a senior with less-than-youthful mobility, I found the steep driveway, uneven stairs, and rickety handrail quite unnerving. The beds were hard and uncomfortable, and there was only one semi-comfortable chair to sit in. Not a good place for someone with an aching body to relax with a good book. If I were young and painfree, I'd most likely stay here again, but as a senior, I won't.

The property was an absolute delight, it had everything we needed, and was super super relaxing. The hot tub and sauna are such a treat. The property itself is just a little oasis and perfect for a quiet, relaxing few days. The owners live upstairs and we’re super nice, respectful and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful little oasis.

This was a lovely spot to stay with perfect outdoor spaces, a hot tub and sauna and lots of greenery. It feels hidden in the woods. I went with my spouse and our young adult son. It is really better suited for a couple on a romantic getaway. We will come back for that! With three of us and a dog it was comfortable but a bit crowded. We had a mix up with VRBO not sending the code to the lockbox in their welcome email and when I went to the VRBO app to try to find it there the buttons in the app didn’t work. Possibly user error. It turns out the code had been sent to us two months prior in the manual for the place, but we didn’t know that at the time. Be warned and check your confirmation email for the manual PDF if you get stuck without the code. It took a bit to reach the owners.

We loved the relaxing vibe, especially having the wood burning sauna, outdoor shower, hot tub and secluded backyard. The inside was small but clean and had everything we needed.

This suite was everything we needed, with the bonus of a private hot tub! They allowed our dog, and made all 3 of us feel very welcome! We will stay again!

Penny and Trevor's place was beautiful and exactly as described - we had an excellent time lounging in the hot tub, and it was conveniently located by local restaurants and to hike the Wild Pacific Trail. Would gladly stay again!

This would have been much better in the summer. Found the accommodations tight and very dated. Having said that, it was clean and the hosts were very nice. Even left a nice little arrival basket for my wife as it was her birthday. It was just the wrong time of the year to rent this suite. Hot tub was nice but the roof dripped heavily on us when we were in it. Local stores and restaurants were reduced because of the time of year. If you are going to Uclulet in the summer and want decent accommodation at what is now considered a reasonable price we would recommend this. Mike and Jenny

The suite had everything we needed and is only a short walk away from the brewery/restaurants in town. We especially enjoyed the hottub and outdoor space. It felt quite private and the hanging patio lights were a nice touch.

We had a great stay at Trevor & Penny's Suite. The photos don't do justice to how cute and private the suite is. Hot tub was amazing after spending time at the beaches in the cold. We walked to town to grab coffee or food each day and walked to little beach, both of which were around 10 minute walk. The beautiful lighthouse loop of the Wild Pacific Trail is a must see for anyone staying in Ucluelet and only 10 minute drive. Penny also makes knitted toques in various styles for sale in the suite with profits being donated to the trail. Overall we loved our stay and Penny and Trevor were wonderful and went above and beyond to help us out when we got stranded an extra night due to a storm. Thank you for a great trip! We will be back

This place was so beautiful and so cozy. We didn’t want to leave. The sauna was our favourite part and the art. Sitting outside reading and doing yoga was what my soul needed. Will be my first choice to stay from now on.

The apartment is super quiet, clean and the homeowner paid attention to the small details! We especially enjoyed the sauna and hot tub after a long day of exploring. The house is walking distance to the beach and downtown. Definitely would stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful spot. The deck area is so cozy and beautiful. We loved the hot tub and the sauna.

It was a pleasant stay. Nice hosts. Very quiet and calm area. Short walking distance to little and big beaches. A few kilometers to drive to beautiful Half Moon Bay. Not far from rainforest and spectacular Kennedy lake.

I little tight for my family (four of us) but we were happy to make due for two nights.

We adored staying at the Forest Sweet Retreat... it was honestly hard to leave! Penny and Trevor made everything so easy for us... check-in was easy and we felt so welcomed with the thoughtful touches. The suite was comfortable, beautifully decorated and had everything that we could possibly need. We traveled as a family of 4 with two young children and the sleeping set-up worked great for us... put the kiddos to sleep in the bedroom and then transfer them out to the pull-out day bed when we were ready for bed (after some relaxing time in the hot tub). The hot tub was the perfect place for our family to warm up after a hike, boat or swimming in the ocean... my kids hopped in there the second we returned from our outings. Though we never used the wood-fired sauna, I can imagine how heavenly it would be on a cool day. We had one rainy day but there was lots of covered outdoor space so it was easy to stay dry and not feel like we were on top of each other. The suite had a wonderful location... we were able to walk out to the local beaches, restaurants and a playground easily. Love the Ukee vibe and all the stunning natural beauty in the area. It was a perfect family getaway. Our kids also loved looking for the fairies hidden in the rocks in front of the house and were quite enchanted that the fairies moved and had flower-petal hats every day... a little bit of west-coast magic! (Thank you P and T!) We look forward to returning to this lovely property.

This gorgeous suite set into a forested hillside is the perfect West Coast retreat. The hosts (who live upstairs) are wonderful, the space is clean and inviting and surrounded by lush garden and trees. We LOVED the sauna (they set it up for you) and hot tub. You can breakfast on the patio, swim/surf and rinse off all your gear outside, then get cozy and warm inside. And all just minutes walk/drive from Ucluelet, the famous lighthouse and Wild Pacific Trail. Amazing. Would recommend to anyone. Just a note - they do explain this but the living room day bed fits one person only. And note that the driveway is steep gravel.

I booked my trip on a last minute whim and was very pleasantly surprised. This place is such a gem - hottub, sauna, outdoor shower - all in a quiet, private area filled with plants and beautiful art. Inside is rustic and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and had a nice big window looking at the plants outside. The location is just very close to Little Beach and is in a nice neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Such a clean quaint retreat. The sauna and the hot tub are in a private location. The tv had lots of streaming selections. The hiking trails are a short drive. The bidet was a sweet surprise. Such a nice romantic getaway.

We finally got the opportunity to stay at this beautiful Forest Suite Retreat! It was such a cozy stay and very private and wonderfully relaxing! The yard space was so beautiful and the inside very clean and welcoming. The location is also a short drive to the beautiful Lighthouse Loop hike which is a nice scenic walk. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

Our stay was as quiet, enjoyable and relaxing as we’d hoped it would be, made unforgettable with the frequent trips to the outdoor hot tub and sauna. Being surround by nature really added to the tranquil feel, and the local scenery is very much worth exploring.
