Avoid this hotel. First, it has serious security issues. The next morning after arrival we were in the room and (our door was locked and the key was in the door interior the room) and a woman (not a host and not a cleaning lady since she didn't have any cleaning supplies with her) opened our door with her key from the outside. We were absolutely shocked and terrified to see a stranger entering our room. The woman saw us and left immediately. Whether it was another guest having the same key or the woman related to the hotel comes to steal the valuables of guests - I do not know. It is absolutely outrageous and unacceptable that a stranger entered our room. We left immediately after this. Second, we had to leave our car at the public parking lot because the tiny parking of the hotel that can fit only 4 cars was full (though it was said on booking.com there was free hotel parking). Third, we booked one room but got a completely different room. Moreover, we booked the room with a double bed for two people, instead we got the room with two separate beds. The host said she doesn't have any double beds for two. Beware of the fact that the room pictures and descriptions may not correspond to what you see in real life. Fourth, the host did not apologize for the room and beds being different from what we had booked, absence of parking or serious security issues. She was talking in a rude manner with an insincere smile. The host was discussing us in German right in our presence with another person in the hotel, without knowing we could understand quite a few of her words. It was very rude and offensive. We didn't feel neither welcomed nor safe. I believe all these issues are linked to the fact that it is more like renting a room with an owner in a big house (even though it is supposed to be a three star hotel) rather than a hotel with a professional staff. Avoid this place: I recommend choosing a well-established hotel even if it is a bit more expensive.

Quaint and clean hotel with friendly staff in a nice central location backing o to the park. Fresh German breakfast with a nice coffee each morning. I had an enjoyable stay!

The location is excellent, so close to the town centre, yet very quiet and near a lovely green park. The staff were very friendly and everything provided was very good. The breakfast room was very nice and the buffet had lots of good options and plenty of food. Excellent value for the price, room and breakfast. The bed was very comfy and the room decor simple yet whimsical. There was lots of free parking nearby. Would definitely recommend!

I can’t think of anything other than that I would have loved to stay longer!

Couldn't Extend my stay

Quiet and clean. Bathroom was pretty good!

A little bit far away from train station, since the town itself wasn't our destination, walking between hotel and Bahnhof in Okt. or Nov. was quite tough.
