Breakfast buffet rather dull

The indoor pool and spe were nice. The kids enjoyed watching the tortoises in the garden. The breakfast and dinner options were excellent. The walk from the hotel to town was enjoyable.

The lack of step-free access from the car-park made it a bit challenging with luggage and baby strollers. Communication/English could be improved to ensure no misunderstandings with booking timings, etc. The restaurant was opened only in the evenings.

we specifically booked this hotel for the spa facilities but when we arrived you had to book a time ! ridiculous our room umm what can I say ! ceiling beams in bedroom very low ! my husband had to crawl to go to his side of the bed . the staff at reception were just ok, not as friendly as the restaurant staff. there was no discount for any inconveniences and in the end at check out , the lady gave me a 10% discount for our next stay there. we will definitely not be returning . disappointing all round

The food was incredible. The spa was so lovely, we really liked that it was private and you had an allocated time to visit. The room was huge, beyond our expectations

We couldn't fault it, we will be back to see it in the warmer weather and enjoy the pool.

We had some relaxing days at I Capricci Di Merion, the staff was very friendly and did everything to make our stay a succes. Good food, top facilities and clean.

The hotel is set in quiet countryside overlooking Lake Trassimeno. The staff are extremely helpful. The spa and indoor small pool with spa experiences is lovely and the water just warm enough. The outdoor pool is well situated and private with nice sun beds around. Loved our stay and evening meals are delicious. Bed was super comfortable. Thank you to all who looked after us so well

Tea and coffee kettle in room would have been good. Perhaps a cooked breakfast offering however there is lots to choose from. Some specials on menu at night for extra choice perhaps. The descriptions of rooms and images are generic so don’t think there will be a balcony or bath tub because it’s on description or images.

The location is absolutely stunning, the pool/gardens have a beautiful view of the lake and the grounds are maintained exceptionally. Very relaxing and tranquil few days here, which we really enjoyed. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and served a high quality continental breakfast. We also loved the exclusive access to the spa for 1 hour during our stay.

Whilst the room was traditional and clean, it was quite basic, especially considering how remote it is. In particular there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and when we asked for a kettle they said they couldn’t provide one. The shower was also very small. We were in a double room, so not sure what other rooms would be like. The restaurant is very high quality (fine dining) but for a few days here it would be good to have a more relaxed and cheaper option too. That said, we would still recommend it for a short stay for the setting alone.

The location was perfect for us - we were looking for the Tuscan experience. Although it's technically not in Tuscany (on the border), the surroundings are very similar and the towns nearby are really beautiful. We absolutely loved the restaurant! The quality feels like it deserves a Michelin Star, it also has a really good ambiance - we did not expect this level. The pool is beautiful and so relaxing as it's surrounded by beautiful greenery.

Although the room we booked was really big - actually more like an apartment with a little kitchen, living room, and balcony - it was a bit too rustic for my taste. The bathroom was really tiny, especially the shower, and the ceiling of the rooms was extremely low. I would've preferred a smaller space overall, with higher ceilings, a bigger bathroom, and. a bit more fancy. However, because this resort is so beautiful and our experience was so great, we didn't really mind!

Amazing Hotel with very good food and wine. Nice pool area and spa venue. Our second time here. We will be back

Last visit we had an excellent waitor so we had High expectations, this time not so up to par, but good food and reseption services
