Casa personalizada en el hermoso río False. Incluye 3 dormitorios cada uno con una vista panorámica del río Falso. 3 baños completos ubicados en cada habitación. El dormitorio principal de arriba tiene su propio balcón privado con vistas al río False. Château Jarreau ofrece una terraza de entretenimiento literalmente sobre el lago. Hay un paseo marítimo envolvente que se extiende a través de la propiedad y un muelle de pesca con un porche proyectado que ofrece un columpio y sillas. Si te gusta nadar, pescar, tomar el sol o simplemente pasar el rato con amigos y familiares, este lugar está perfectamente preparado para todo lo anterior.

The host was very accommodating during our stay and made us feel right at home; treated us like family practically.
If you rent this place, rent the boat too. Made our stay that much more enjoyable!!

We selected False River and this property as a meeting location for family to spend the holidays together. The main floor was perfect for visiting, playing games, and celebrating. We used the outdoor fire pit for two days straight. The bedrooms were spacious and the dock area was amazing. What a great spot!

Great home on the river, beautiful view, wonderful outdoor area & pier. We had a blast fishing, boiling shrimp & just hanging out there. We stayed at the house for the weekend to attend the LSU football game. House is right on the False River and it’s comfortable and cozy. If you fish there’s great fishing in the back off the dock. The house is clean and very spacious. When we arrived, we love that it had the soft music playing, it was perfect . Overall booking and stay was a five. If there’s any downside to this place, it will definitely be the Parking. The driveway is very hard to see especially at night and it’s on a very steep hill with not much room to park. One car is not so bad, but more than one vehicle in the driveway is stressful. However, overall greatness of the house overshadows a little parking stress.

Really enjoyed our 3 days stay at this rustic place. Furnished nicely and plenty of room inside and out and very quiet and relaxing with great views. The owner Emmett was very accommodating the whole time. We rented the pontoon boat which topped off the experience. The weather was perfect which made the stay even better. Great place to stay!

This house is perfect for our family and friends. It’s setup well for entertaining. The location is great and the owner couldn’t be more attentive, making sure everything is perfect for an enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this property and will be back with my family again.

It was grandkids (teens), one of their parents, and grandma and grandpa. Location was great—quiet. The house was spacious and comfortable with great views of the lake. We were close enough to town to pick up supplies. The music theme was a hit! Loved our stay! Hope to be back soon.

We loved our stay! The views of the lake/river from every room was so refreshing and relaxing. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We also reserved the party barge and enjoyed cruising and hanging out on the lake. We will be back!!

House has beautiful wood features and amazing lake view and great dock to fish off of and relax. However the house wasn’t very clean, floors were dirty and 3 cockroaches.

Lake cabin was very cozy. We were hit with a cold front so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor as much as we would have liked to but because the cabin was so nice we were able to enjoy our time together indoors. It’s not far from New Roads so there are many stores and restaurants near by if you need supplies.

Lovely stay on False River. Emmett was easy to work with, quick to respond, and generous with his time. We did come back to no air conditioning but was back on in under and hour. He helped us rent a boat and the guys had a great time on it. The views were spectacular and the house was stocked with many necessities. Highly recommend!

Comfortable stay @ Chateau Jarreau
We had such a nice time at the property! It was a spacious and well-appointed rental. Kids took the upper room which they loved leaving plenty of room (and quiet) for the grown ups downstairs. The outdoor space was great - caught lots of fish. Emmett was a great host and gave great tips for our visit. Looking forward to a return visit!

Communication was awful.
Interior was decently clean. Lighting was dim, especially in one of the bedrooms. Also, strange red light bulb over the bathtub in the master bath. Exterior was neglected. Cobwebs, spiders, dirt, gunk everywhere. Old yucky exterior cushions. Ashtrays everywhere, must be a smokers paradise.

This will be a regular place that we will visit!!!
