The property was as described. Some of the communications were unclear, blankets were provided so we didn’t need to bring any just sheets and a duvet to cover. We did not locate a vacuum cleaner in the house and there was only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. The house was comfortable for 6 of us.

The house was just like it says it is. The house was clean, decorated very nice. Was big enough for our family of 7. You can walk to beach on path. Thank you for letting us stay there.

We had a wonderful time here. The house was perfect and our family enjoyed it all, especially the hot tub and beach (which was only a five minute walk). The area was very quiet and the location was perfect, as we were easily able to take day trips up to Roanoke and Nags Head/Kitty Hawk and down towards Hatteras.
We would 100% come back again!

My significant other, myself and our pug stayed at the house. It was very well maintained, had all the amenities, jacuzzi, two nice decks for relaxing and seeing the sunset and sunrise on the top deck. King size bed on the main floor was very comfortable. Kitchen had all the amenities for cooking meals at home. It was less than a 5 min walk to the beach as well. Just a note to bring sheets, comforter and blankets for sleeping and relaxing on the couch.

We loved the house and the location to the beach was great. The weather was good and we enjoyed meeting some of the locals. The fishing was awesome. We would definitely love to come back.

The property is beautifully maintained with a large yard and shade trees. Multiple outdoor seating areas made it nice to sit in the sunroom when the wind was high. The house had every amenity we needed from kitchen supplies and beach items. We would love to return here.

The property was absolutely perfect for our two families of four. There is plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. So many options between the sitting rooms and decks!! The hot tub was absolutely perfect in the cool mornings and in the evening! Due to the rain, we didn't get a lot of time in the yard but it is cute and private compared to most houses in the area.

This is the third time we have stayed at this location. We love the space and closeness to the beach. There is plenty of room in the home with extra sleeping space if needed on the futon in the top floor. My kids love the multiple decks and the sun room is nice when the weather is a little cooler. The kitchen is stocked with the necessities plus more. The only thing we would add are some plastic plates and bowls for the kids to use to avoid accidently breaking the nicer things. There are plenty of TVs and games for rainy days and the hot tub is a definite plus.

The house was wonderful! It had everything we needed for our trip. The house was just minutes away from many adventures. We loved the beach that was within walking distance. The hot tub was a perfect way to end our days! We wdill definitely return this house if it is available for our next trip to the area.

Our family of seven enjoyed our stay very much. Kitchen was well stocked (bring your own spices!) and house was big enough and comfortable for all of us. Hot tub was great too!

We really enjoyed our stay! We love the location because you are in the middle of the strand and close to pea island where we like to bird. The house is good for couples bc of the separation of the bedrooms as added privacy. We had a power outage because of a nasty storm and Steve was quick to call utility's company and it was back on in an hour! The furniture, kitchen supplies, and hot-tub could use updating. We would stay in the home again. Ty Steve!

The stay was nice and we really enjoyed the hot tub and short walk to the beach, the kitchen was well stocked and had most everything we needed to cook our meals, was very happy there was a kuerig. I dont think we should have had to wash the towels since we paid for cleaning services, it would have been nice to have showered the morning before we left instead of the night before and we couldnt eat a little breakfast before we left or have a cup of coffee because we couldnt dirty up a dish towel to clean the dishes. Other than that it was a nice house and would stay again.

We can’t thank the owners enough for allowing my husband and I along with our big dog crew (Newfoundland and German Shepherd) to stay at this property. The pictures do not do the property justice. The hot tub was clean and so relaxing on the rainy days and the foot wash was nice to rinse sand off. While we would come back to this rental no hesitation there our a few things I’d point out to anyone consideration this property.
1. It is a lot of steps. 2 flights of stair to get to the main living area. Anyone bringing older dogs or dogs that have hip issues could have some problems or anyone elderly.
2. You are remote. We loved the remoteness of the property our dogs enjoyed their morning swims on the beach almost by themselves and we had no one on top of us when we would go later on. It seems to be a private area which we loved!
This has been one of the best rentals we have had so far! The neighbors were so nice.

It was fine. The neighborhood was a little sketchy when you turn in the road but the house was fine. Rodanthe really doesn’t have much to offer in the way of activities or good restaurants. You have to drive 20 to 30 minutes to the grocery store depending on which way you go. The beach was beautiful. I would like to be able to adjust the temperature. It stayed on 71 but one of the hot days it went up to 73 for the evening. I like my place cooler than this thank goodness for the ceiling fans. But over all it was fine for where we were. It was nice they let you bring your puppy. It would be a good place if all you do is sit on the beach or fish.

we had a great family time, the weather was bad, didn't get to enjoy the beach much. The House was great for a family, we played games and cooked some amazing food in the well stocked kitchen. It was a great week in spite of the weather. Love the location too.

The house was just as listed. Plenty of room for a large family of 10. Parking was a little tight with a car, suv, and full size truck. Nice walk to the beach. Very quiet safe area away from the more crowded areas. Amazing views from the top deck. Hot tub was clean and plenty of beach chairs and toys for the kids. Would definitely stay here if we visit the area again.

This House is Amazing! The interior decoration made it very comfortable and inviting! House has TONS of Board Games for those rainy days which I didn’t have for a Change on my Visit. The Views off the 3rd Floor Patio are Awesome for relaxing and seeing either the sound or the ocean, the house is in the middle of the island so you can see both.
Tons of Beach Stuff which is walking distance like folding chairs and kid toys! I did leave some sand spikes behind for those who fish, couldn’t take them with me back since I flew up and my fishing rod case was already full!
Will definitely rebook this house in the future! Rodanthe Pier is right down the road.

Property was clean. Short walk to beach. Hot tub was a nice perk. Was not clear on how to walk to the beach from the house. There was a map, but trees were blocking the path so we were unclear which direction to go. Check out instructions just said “leave the house the way you found it”. So I hope we did everything we were supposed to do because we really weren’t sure. Other than that, it was a nice stay and we would stay there again.

The owner was very helpful, kind and respectful. We were celebrating a birthday and they set it up very beautifully. Everything was organized, clean and very welcoming.
The walk to the beach was not far and you could see most of the sunrise and sunset from the decks.
The owner is quick to respond and will work magic to create wonderful moments for you too!

We stayed at Beach Serenity for 4 nights. The house was lovely. We really enjoyed the house, and we all enjoyed the space as well as the hot tub. It was a short walk to the beach and we got some great sunsets! We will definitely remember our stay and hope to come back in the future!

We really enjoyed the house. The location was off on a private road. Away from the main roams. But plenty to see and do near by. Walking distance from the pier.

If your are looking for a place to rent in Rodanthe, this is it. Room for 10, with room to spare. The house is a short walk to the beach. The kitchen has every imaginable pot, pan, baking pan, an amazingly large pizza pan, crockpot, utensils, plastic containers, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, silverware, and so much more. I really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen...we didn't eat out except on our first night.
The only caution I have is that there are lots of steps, which is really not an issue, except we were traveling with our parents in their 80s. They were able to climb them, but it took some time. However, being able to go out onto the 3rd floor balcony and see the sunset was magical.
The owners were very receptive and communicative. They quickly answered any question I had.
I highly recommend this house and the owners.

Pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and overall state of the property. Pictures don’t quite do it justice in my opinion. The property manager also went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, even mailing my jacket I left behind. Definitely a hidden gem I would love to come back to in the future. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We visit the obx often! We enjoyed our mini vaca! We loved the house! The check in and out process is simple. The house is nicely decorated with a comfortable beach relaxing feel and very clean. There was plenty of room for our 2 small beagles. Large yard and driveway! Ocean and sound views. Close to the beach access. We would definitely book this house again for future trips!
