perfectly placed, two bridges and you are directly in the park. the owner, Benoit, is super friendly and loved all over our dog. the breakfast was delicious and all the staff were nice. It has beautiful decor!

The location was lovely and could walk through the park. The breakfast was good too, the coffee really was lovely! And we had a lovely view of the canal. I loved our big windows and the blue colour of the room

The location of the classic mansion on the l'île des bois blancs is superb, quiet and only half an hour walking the city centre through the park facing the house. Staff was friendly and parking was possible in front of the entrance. Breakfast next morning was splendid! We already had dinner reservations elsewhere, but the menu of the restaurant belonging to the property looked Great. We will certainly return and next time we will dine in (reservation needed).

The people were lovely and chatty. The location was tranquil and the apartment was stylish and I had a beautiful view of the canal from my balcony. The bed was comfy and I had a really comfy dressing gown to mooch around in. The breakfast was lovely to anyone with a sweet tooth would be spoilt for choice!

All the steps, I had a heavy suitcase! There wasn’t a bottle opener in the room so felt like an alcoholic when I asked the bar staff to open my bottle!

The hotel is located next to a beautiful large park. This offers a really pleasant, safe easy walk into central Lille. Took us 30 minutes and was perfect to exercise our dog after a long journey. The hotel offers a lot of nice touches in the room - coffee machine, dressing gowns, travel toothbrushes. The breakfast was absolutely superb. There is limited private parking on site. We got a space in their car park but there was ample free parking nearby.

We were happy and would definitely stay again. The stairs and room lighting were a little dark, but ambient.

this hotel canceled my booking twice after I paid. 1. first time I booked two weeks before, they cancelled just one day before I go without explaining the reason. so the book.com have to find another hotel for me at the last minute which is 3 times more expensive cause they have football match in the city. I called the hotel they told me it’s full, but why you still have room available on your site? and why not notify me right after? only one day before? 2. second time I arrived hotel around night and 11:30, they said they didn’t find my booking. and I showed them the payment confirmation info. they told me all room is complete. how is that possible? in the midnight I walked 6 km to pay double price to find another hotel to live! simply I’m asking to give me the price difference back to my account. after 10years client of booking. and they said the hotel check in time is before 22:00. really? no email no cellphone no cancellations, this is the reason acceptable?

Nice, spacious room. Location near the park was perfect for us (20min walk to city center). Breakfast was really amazing.

One tall staff can speak English, is pleasant.

Room is clean but a plate of grapes is next to the bed looks rotted. Breakfast is so-so.

Overall, the property was very beautiful and stood out. The inside of the hotel is very aesthetically pleasing, and the rooms themselves are very similar to the pictures. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and our stay was very peaceful and comfortable.

Unfortunately some of the shelves were a bit unclean ( cup boards etc) , however it didn’t impact our stay whatsoever.

Fantastic restaurant and staff

Good breakfast. Pretty, historic, intimate building in nice location in quiet area next to river but not far from town. Free parking was a plus and rooms were nicely decorated. Dinner at the restaurant is also exceptional.

Needed Aircon as was very warm at night. Little bit disorganised, as someone else was given a key to our room and attempted to open the door whilst we were in the there. Think we were given the wrong room as we booked a room with a bath but it only had a shower. Staff not always present on the front desk as they also work in the restaurant.

bed was comfortable. great space and apartment and location was excellent as didn’t want to be in the heart of the city. coffee was outstanding.

the Wi-Fi was terrible. ended up paying add 5 euros for 1 days access for my son. restaurant downstairs was loudish late at night. Room was a little tired and could do with some tlc. Toilet was a little dark.

Extremely helpful staff. We had a nice breakfast outside on a lovely garden terrasse. A huge wonderful public park surrounding the citadel in walking distance. We took our bikes and had a tremendous tour through the park into the old city centre. Spectacular place!

We would have loved to try the restaurant. But unfortunately it is closed on weekends.

Room renovation is new, and quite modern.

No air condition, mosquitoes in the room, because the building is located close to the water, however no mosquito repellent. Also, floor lamp is not working.

We had a comfortable bed, quiet location and the electric blinds and the building was nice. Also a tasty breakfast.

We had a shower in the bath which was uncomfortable and the edge of the bath was very high which could be dangerous. The uneven floor could also be dangerous; it had nails in it.
