La Perle is excellent, this has been our 3rd of 4th time we returned, and will return again and again. Excellent!!!!!

The location is fantastic and right by the Main beach and Thompsons beach is also quite close. The facilities are absolutely beautiful! The breakfast was wonderful, the host was very accommodating and pleasant. We asked to change to the pool view and they graciously moved us at an additional small fee. The views were just too stunning not to wake up to each morning :). We LOVED the pool and the place was nice and peaceful.

The place is as advertised, no complaints.

We booked for a R2150 a night hotel room, instead we got a R400 a night b & b. The pics used for advertising are completely misleading. The room was too small, the pool was so close to the room and the noise from the pool pump quite disturbing. We were given a loadshedding schedule and, quite frankly, for R2000 per night you would expect the establishment to have back up power. We spent a few minutes in the room and decided that we were going to be uncomfortable for the entire weekend, so therefore checked out immediately, ruining what was supposed to be a perfect anniversary weekend. This is completely false advertising and I would not recommend this establishment to anyone unless their prices are adjusted to align with what is being offered.

Modern and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast. Close proximity to the beach and restaurants. Christine, the hostess was charming and very helpful.

Only that the receptionist, Britney told us she had no idea where to find a pub as “she doesn’t drink” which we thought was an odd thing to say for someone working in the hospitality industry. She should familiarise herself with the area to be able to advise tourists.

How to find the place

It was beautiful and the location was exceptional…the lady at reception was lovely and was available for all our needs

I was charged more than they should have…when I raised the issue and asked for a room upgrade I was told it’s booking.coms fault…The owner of the property was very rude and he shouted instead of seeing to the matter and apologising for inconveniences…further deductions were made on my credit card and it was not communicated with me and no one wanted to take accountability…would not recommend…the staff was very friendly though..

The staff-Christine was really amazing. Made the experience so much more special for the family. We had wine in the room to celebrate the anniversary.. Even helped with finding group family adventure events to go for. The breakfast was wonderful and so well presented.

Christy was an amazing host. Breakfast was made fresh and was large portions everything exceeded my expectations. Really enjoyed our weekend at Le Perle.

The location is great,closer to the restaurants, beach and Ballito Mall. The room was nice and comfortable, the staff was amazing, they even gave me something nice for my birthday 🎂.I really enjoyed my stay. Very relaxing and safe.
