Nice staff, calm location and spacious room.

Sunbed cushions are missing, which makes it very uncomfortable to lay on. Breakfast is not really rich in variety, we always got the same food. WiFi was lacking sometimes.

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in einem tropischen Garten. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ausflüge wurden organisiert. Unsere beiden Fahrer sind mit uns um 6:00 auf den Pidurangala Rock mit Taschenlampen gestiegen damit wir oben gut ankommen.

De accomodatie was echt perfect om onze reis te beginnen. We verbleven 2 dagen en het team van Suresh was super gastvrij, hielp ons met activiteiten en regelen van vervoer. Het is echt in de natuur, 15 min per tuktuk van Sigiriya, en er staan altijd tuktuks klaar. Zwembad en kamer ook heel fijn en lekker eten in restaurant.

Het is dus een klein beetje buiten Sigiriya, vonden wij niet erg.

We had to change rooms as power points, ceiling fan and fridge not working. Tv and safe not available in most rooms. No comfy chairs to sit on. Bar options limited. Road in was so muddy you could not go out to walk.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und es gibt einen Pool. Die dezentrale Lage bringt den Vorteil mit sich, dass man einige Vögel am Abend beobachten kann. Das Frühstück war gut.

Es hat in unserem Badezimmer unglaublich gestunken. Die einzige Dekoration im Zimmer war ein zusätzliches Dekokissen, welches zwar an sich schön gewesen wäre, aber schon geschimmelt hat. Wir sind mit einem eigenen Tuktuk gekommen. Dies kann ich bei der nicht befestigten Straße auf keinem Fall weiterempfehlen. Die Straße war so matschig, dass selbst normale Autos stecken geblieben sind. Dadurch waren wir sehr unflexibel, trotz des eigenen Tuktuks.

There are only 2 options offered for breakfast - Continental and Sri Lankan. The Sri Lankan breakfast was good but it’s the exact same meal every time, a variety needs to be offered if staying more than one night. The Continental breakfast is minimal - some fruit, bread, margarine and jam is all that’s given. Like the Sri Lankan breakfast, the meal is the same every time.

The hotel is very hard to reach - you have to go up a very muddy path. This would be fine if it was advertised/informed properly. Better sign posting would also help.

Staff were very likeable and helpful, got our laundry done quickly and were very accommodating. The shower was also good for the area and so was the food.

Deluxe room is very basic, no mini fridge or chairs inside. Also had a cockroach and stained sheets when we arrived. Walls are stained too, has insects and TV connects to CCTV…

The staff was very accommodating and so friendly! We enjoyed the views and listening to the sounds of nature from the patio which was very peaceful after a long flight. The A/C worked really well (great for my bf, not great for me as I'm always cold haha) and had a larger bathroom & shower then expected.

The location was a little difficult to find. There was a sign at the end of the road but the drive to the location was far from the road. Some signs along the way would have made it a little easier to find. We were also told that they didn't accept credit card and had to pay in cash (rupees.) This could have been a language barrier though since we had our card on file through booking.com

Het personeel adem echt hospitality. Ze doen er alles aan om je een leuke tijd te bezorgen.

Het was een beetje afgelegen, maar dat maakte het juist ook heel bijzonder. Er stond ook altijd een tuktuk klaar.

C'est le meilleur hôtel que nous ayons fait au Sri Lanka, après 4 nuits nous aurions même voulu rester. L'accueil est exceptionnel, l'équipe des garçons est toujours souriante, présente, prête à aider et à nous conseiller pour nos activités. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Les chambres sont simples, grandes et confortables. On peut se ressourcer dans ce lieu en pleine nature. La piscine est belle et très agréable. Les repas sont très très bons, les jus aussi (prix en dollars donc un peu élevées quand même). Merci beaucoup, nous avons passé un excellent moment grâce à vous, nous n'oublierons pas.

Le seul petit point à améliorer est l'équipement des chambres, c'est un peu "froid" (manque de déco, d'une lampe de chevet...) et de la piscine : quelques coussins pour transat seraient bien.

The staff at this property were great, very polite and got you anything you needed upon request. The food here was very nice also. Rooms very basic but for the price was worth it. The pool area was lovely and peaceful and well kept. Would go back and also recommend!

Cleanliness could be improved. Offer fresh towels and clean the rooms every couple of days would be better. Sigiriya and dambulla both around 25 minutes and not much around the property itself however it’s very cheap in a tuk tuk and the staff will arrange these for you.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, the pool is lovely and birdsong in the background. The staff is very very nice and tries hard.

The lighting outside is partly on, the access to our room and the pool, the main areas where we stayed, was very dark. The first night there was no hot water in our room. The service in the restaurant is very slow, we waited a long time for the food, longer than usual. And the thing that bothered us the most - in the morning we asked them to tidy up our room and when we returned in the late afternoon we were told that they didn't have enough because of a lot of work with other guests. This is unacceptable, we are also guests at the hotel.

Generally we had a very good experience. The rooms are nice and spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is also nice and the restaurant served good food.

It was a bit far from all the restaurants of the town so we had to eat at the hotel almost all the times and had to take a tuk tuk for our activities.

Amazing small hotel with a swimming pool to relax. The staff is friendly very helpful and always smiling. The restaurant is perfect food delicious, we haven’t regret to have dinner there every night. It’s close to best attraction but suggest tuk tuk every time you want to go out.

The people were so incredibly kind. They go above and beyond. Sashi and Suresh are one of the names that made us feel so special. The pool is a dream. It really feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle, just nature sounds around.

What an amazing stay at Into the Wild! The accommodation is fantastic - beautiful, spacious and clean rooms and the location is surrounded by nature so is very quiet and peaceful. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and made our stay wonderful. We also ate amazing food for dinner and breakfast in the restaurant area. Thanks again!

Nothing, it was amazing.

Everything exceeded expectations. The pool is incredible, staff go above and beyond - Isu in particular helped us with every detail. It's a gorgeous property, set in the nature - perfect time there. We will be back!

Fantastic place for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating experience amidst nature. The staff were incredibly supportive and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable.

Quiet, friendly staff, spacious room, comfy beds and pillows, clean, lots of birds to view.

Breakfast and terrible coffee.

I loved the jungle location - there was a peacock in the garden, geckos, birds singing. The curry and rice is superb! The staff is very friendly, they help with everything.

The swimming pool could be cleaner and the breakfast was a bit poor. Also, it would be great, if they changed towels after 2 nights of stay. Otherwise, all good! :)
