A beautiful house with fantastic furniture and fittings in the classic French style. Location was ideal for walking around Soissons, as its a 5 minute walk to the cathedral. Bed was awesome.

We were touring France on a motorcycle and the hotel says they have private parking which is important for us. Unfortunately, the parking was on the public road outside the hotel - so not private and secure. While the house/hotel was exceptionally beautifully furnished, the huge kitchen in our room had no utensils at all, not that we were going to cook, but was quite strange to have all the appliances and no plates, cups, pans, knives etc. Also, a number of the electrical sockets were not secured to the wall which could be dangerous. Breakfast was in a lovely dinning room, but the breakfast itself was quite spartan. I had to ask for milk and hot water for tea,

The breakfast was basic but very nicely presented. The bed was very comfortable.

Needs a full length mirror in the room.The mirrors that are there are too high for some people, anyway, they only show a head, not a whole person. Nothing in the kitchen…….no mugs, cutlery, nothing. Not much us having a kitchen without anything in it. No toiletries…..no shampoo, body lotion, nothing. Only soap in a dispenser. Need to tell guests to bring toiletries. And tea and coffee and milk if they will want it in the room.

Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, very good coffee. Our hosts were charming, they have renovated the house to a high standard with beautiful touches.

The lovely bedroom needs a full length mirror and a shelf is needed in the very nice shower!

Well located chambre d’hôtes in the centre of Soissons. Recently refurbished…very spacious and comfortable. Easy parking outside .

Super friendly management. Good, fairly central location. Close to the main sights. The hotel is in a lovely, substantial late 19th century property on a grand avenue. The room I stayed in was magnificent with exposed roof joists and good fixtures and fittings. Plus free parking on the road immediately outside the hotel.

Check-in time is a bit restricted.

Above expectations. Highly recommend! Especially the breakfast and the host was fantastic! Good luck! P. S. Parking is available just in front of the building.

A very nice and newly-reformed house very near the city centre (7min walk from the cathedral). Comfortable, clean, quiet and relaxing place with all needed amenities to enjoy a nice stay in Soissons. The breakfast was also great, as well as the host service and attention.

we left on Sunday morning and were in the village. There was a fair going on with all roads Route Barre. we travelled around hundreds of pedestrians and up one way streets incorrectly but there was no route out with the street market set to continue some four hours. Eventually a local helped direct us to an exit via a long narrow field track. A warning would have been helpful from the proprietor. we will not return.
