The building looks well renewed. The swimming pool is definitely a plus. Breakfast offers a wide range of choices and food has a good quality. People of the staff are very kind and helpful.

The amount of tourist tax should be specified before the reservation.

1. Refrigerator didn't work. (Room 106) 2. Hotel itself seems a bit old. Especially shower room is not that much clean. 3. Wall sockets on the wall (specifically on the TV & desk side) were not working on 2nd day.

It was just perfect! a very nice Hotel with super friendly staff, a quiet place with a garden and a pool (wonderful at that heat), close to the métro and perfectly located in town. Bus to the airport nearby. We would definitely come back and recommand the hotel!

It's a true pleasure to write a review for the Sharq hotel! Unfortunately, since I arrived in Tashkent I had major health issues (rushed 3 times to emergency!). Therefore I had to stay at the hotel for one week. During this time, hotel's staff and management have been incredibly helpful, kind, and supportive. I really want to thank them and recommend the hotel! We stayed first in a regular room and then at the cottage. The cottage is just perfect! Spacious, well organized, with two bathrooms and in front of the pool. Location is the best, 5 minutes walk from the Metro, and at a walking distance there are so many interesting spots.

Food didn’t arrive on time and not everything on the menu was available.

the room is not sound proof. I can hear everything from the room next door lound and clear especially the noise when they shut the door-so lound. The noise from the street also disturb of sleeping.

The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price and was great. The hotel was excellent value and in a great location.

No earplugs necessary! The hotel is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, so you can rest without the loud sounds of young men compensating for something by driving their cars fast and loud. The courtyard is probably nice spring to fall.

The bed is uncomfortable, the breakfast was really quite bad (hot dogs, unripe vegetables, bread with bad melted cheese on it, no real coffee), and the service was bad and indifferent (the staff was mostly hanging around the lobby looking at their phones).

Unfortunately non-whites are met with suspicion from certain receptionists.

The pool.

Paper thin walls keep you fully aware of every neighbour's shower, fart, phone conversation, TV program and orgasm. In all my years of travel, I have never heard a man next door break wind in dolby surround. Zero service. "Restaurant" remains deserted all day except for bland and Spartan "breakfast". Don't even ask for a cup of coffee, they won't dare make one for fear of "Landlord", whose name is spoken by nobody on the premises. There is literally nothing the staff are willing to do for you.

Very comfortabe and well located and an ATM cash machine just outside the front entrance. Five minutes walk to the Metro and fifteen to the Bon Cafe! A lovely garden.

Breakfast was not so good. No melon or home made jams. But they did have porridge! I was charged for a full day extra when I arrived at 1.00am. 50% would have been acceptable.

The personnel was very helpful. The holel is about 10 years old and very cozy (imo).
